It seems pretty obvious that we would like to get a 2nd round pick this year... with Juice Norwood ( the new " Juice"...?) and Jason Snelling being tendered for 2nd round picks. Anybody taking the bait? I'd love to have em' both back, but its draft season and I dont wanna miss out on the 2nd round, I am torn. This is a money round for us, Lofton in '08, and we anxiously await the rewards of C4 Moore from '09.

Darft season... and we're stuck without a 2nd rounder... how about Jamaal Anderson to KC for our 2nd round pick. Obviously not very useful to our team, but maybe suited well for their 3-4 scheme... throw in Chauncey Davis as well to seal the deal. I'm very happy with Bierman and Sidbury in the line up. With a 2nd round pick we could go either DE/DB in the 1st or 2nd, take the best available at either postion.  Maybe we could bait SD with these guys to give up Merrimen? He'd work in our 4-3 as a DE... How about Julius Peppers...no way they'd  deal him in the division...

I'll reluctantly admit that I kinda enjoyed the temper tantrum Brooking was throwing after that 4th quarter TD with 2:00 to go. I call it karma... or something like that... Thats kinda how I felt when we went to Dallas and lost that game in the 2nd half, and there I witness Keith Brooking, laughing, mocking his former teamates with some sort of Bird flap gesture. What goes around comes around... I really hope we get a shot at them next year. 

Just logged on and to my surprise, the Vikings cut their leading reciever for the past two seasons?...  Now I understand Booker has nice hands &  decent route running, but he doesn't come close to the playmaking ability we have lost... HD. I'm hoping Comrade Dimitroff would consider Bobby Wade... cut Booker, we already have two of the best possesion receivers with Jenkins and Finn, Bobby Wade would give us the speed from the slot we are sorely missing without HD... Anybody have any inside connections with the Falcons brass?
