why was this rule not made a few years ago when Carson Palmer got hit below the knee which changed the game completely in a Playoff game!    Beacuse he wasn't the nfl poster boy named Tom Brady.   I know its not nice but i hope Brady leaves the game eating his food through a straw and drooling all over himself in a wheelchair.

on page 10 and 11 there is a 2 page spread picture VERY clearly showing ted ginn knocking the ball lose back at the 1 1/2 yard line.  I know this is after the fact and nothing can be done about it especially after the refs reviewed it.  I couldnt get the picture online but if u get the magazine or the picture you will surely see what i mean.  I know hes gotten alotta heat and was the cause of that pick but if you see the picture in Sports Illustrated you'll be screaming "touch back"  like i was at my tv on sunday

Got my copy of Sports Illustrated today and saw in the pop culture grid article they had Falcons DE Kroy Biermann as one of the athletes they interviewed this week.

When the question asked to him was, "What hurts right now?"  His answer..... Chad Pennington

it says that Biermann couldn't resist a jab at the Dolphins' QB, whom he brought down twice in Week 1 to equal his 2008 sack total.

with the season almost under way and the falcons game a few days away i was wondering if there would be any smack talk between the falcons and dolphins.........  i saw on espn first take today  they  interviewed roddy white and he was asked about his days wrestling in high school.  She then asked him, if you could wrestle anybody in the nfl who would it be?

His answer.....Joey Porter!            Is he trying to get things heated up already??

i just got the demo today and you can only play as the steelers or cardinals. not a big deal i guess being they were in the super bowl but whats pissed me off is that the steelers have a wildcat formation set available!!!!   if that wasn't bad enough the cardinals have it also (did they ever try and run the wildcat in a game?) but its the pahokee formation with boldin getting the snap!!!!

i know alot of teams tried (with not much success) copy the formation in games but its dumb how all these teams on the game run the formation.  How is it in any way unique if every team has it?  Madden is a game of exploits using plays like this its just dumb.

Does Jason Taylor have a handshake agreement with Pats?

The Providence Journal reports there are those who believe Jason Taylor(notes) is just a stroke of a pen away from becoming a member of the New England Patriots. Many believe there is already a handshake agreement in place.

The Journal noted that New England coach Bill Belichick has great respect for Taylor. The Journal wrote: it's not too far-fetched to think that he'll be given a playbook, told to study up, and stay in shape until training camp begins at the end of July. That would give Taylor maximum time with his family.

Belichick has made similar concessions for certain veterans in the past: Vinny Testaverde(notes) was allowed to sit out most of training camp a few years ago, and Roman Phifer had permission to fly home to his family in California after Sunday games and return to the facility on Wednesday.

i know its been mentioned before that we probably wont sign JT i just dont like the sound of him as a patriot!!

ive tried to look it up myself.                                                                                   But havent been able to figure out how long of a contract he signed last year.                   Or what year his contract goes until?
