Ok, so we have complained, within our rights, about the Northern invaders. Not that I completely agree with Stan K, but within the whole city, I found the buzz about Opening Day to be muted. Where was any places in town or in NOVA organizing fan bus trips or promoting opening day activities. I did Google "washington nationals bus trip" and found only trips from Philly to DC

So later in the schedule, there are 2 weekend where the Nationals travel to Philly in August and Sept. Any bus trips from DC to Philly? I'd love to go in force for that late Sept series and hope the Nationals can spoil the Phils post season plans. I doubt we can muster the same crowd, but even a hundred or so would be nice.  Zim and the boys need to know we represent!

Of course Opening Day Ratings were up. Nationals fans had to watch the game from home, since the team opted to sell them up north before the New Year even began.

Having said that, I did represent for all 9 innings in Section 230. I opted for a flex plan this year. I had 40 and 20 games plans every year since 2005, but I had to cut back this year. When I had 2 seats in my 20 game plan, I had a difficult time finding some to attend with me because of the on the field product.

To Stan K and the ticket office, I've tried getting groups of 25 people or more to head down to the stadium and between coworkers, alumni, neighbors, and friends - we've never been able to do it. Not for our lack of trying. We could have gotten around 10, but we were not given the chance.

What do players wear in the AFL? Is there a "Desert Dog" uniform, or do players players wear the jersey of their parent club? I've seen the PDD cap, but any time I've been photos of Strasburg, he is wearing something that says "Washington" or "Nationals."

I know Strasburg and Storen are only there for a short time, but I'd love to get my hands on some PDD caps or t-shirts.
