Blame Scott Yelin - he is the reason we are losing, I knew it!

 Manager & Coaches

Your elite 2009 squad....after much investigation, effort and good leads, we have determined that the most recent Yankee funk is because of the team masseuse. Scott has been using a Swedish technique the past 2 weeks and has modified his elbow to hand transligiment rub method. Scott has decided to revert back to his original technique when we were in first and won like 9 games in a row. Scott also said he will be using new rubbing oil from extracted from the wukuberry tree located atop the Andes! Buckle up and first place here we come!

Thanks Scott!

Good Morning...rise and shine...just a few questions on 6-24

I will not single out anyone as you can insert your own Yankee jackass right now.

We don’t score runs, we don’t get the 2 out hit anymore, we don’t play good D, when we hit our pitching is bad, when we pitch well or batting is bad, when we get quality starting, our bullpen is bad, when our bullpen is on our starters are bad, we cant throw runners out, we cant steal a base, we cant hit and run, we can hit and run and steal but cant score runs, we were in first, we are now 5 games out, we are now tied with Toronto for second, we are only two games game up on third place Tampa Bay, we hit into two many double plays, we have no game plan, we swing at too many first pitches after a walk, our pitchers walk too many batters, we have weak outfielders, we are too old, we are not coached well, who is our batting coach again, who is our hitting coach again, what is our team salary, why did we build this new stadium and alienate the true fans at games, our seats are too much money, our average ticket price for a home game is the highest in the game, we don’t execute well, we seem to have no plan at the plate, we seem to have no plan on the mound, we loose to teams we should be beating, what was the score of the red sox nationals games last night, oh yes, thanks 11-3, that is what great teams do with not so great teams, we let what manager go a few years who is doing what with some national league west cost team, our manager wears what number on his back, boy do we really mess with our young pitchers, thank god we drafted and have about 15 catchers from the ages of 16-21 in the minors now, whew, cant never have too many of them, our GM has won how many WS’s since he took over, have you heard from Hank or Hal yet?, A-Rod needs how many days off now, our four hitter?, Does Tex regret his signing?, you really think we have plenty of time left, we lost how many games to Boston so far? I said it a few days ago and here comes the rage, doomsday, as some of you say, we are done and over, at best 82-80, its collapsing quick and its going to get worse

Bums, bums, bums, overpaid and out hustled….losers, Jeter should feel embarrassed and disgraced, you’re the captain, set the dam tone, break a water cooler, throw a tantrum, trust me, the players will pick up on this and use as momentum…or Joe, would it hurt to loose the huckleberry, “we got outplayed again” mood, say we stink right now, its an embarrassment to our fans….

The old days, players were paid how they played, managers also, too bad the old days are gone, they don’t feel the pressure and maybe just maybe – stop the extra friggen programming on YES, Yankees on deck, joe g show, Yankee cooking, Yankee talk, Yankee blab bla…how about less YES air time and more practice or more pool, go bowling, sky dive, rock climb, etc...whatever you do to gel as a team...PLAY SOME GOOD BALL AND WIN!

Time for football camp and prepping for fantasy football!

I guess the pie business has been slow lately....how about some crap in the face after a game, maybe that will grab their attention...the player who stinks it up gets a bag of dog crap at theior locker.

I AM OVER AND OUT, ARRIVERDIC MF’R!

cody

Cody Ransom's stint on the 60-day disabled list will end Wednesday.

At that time, the Yankees will either have to add him to the major league roster or designate him for assignment and risk losing him. He can definitely be used on the days Alex Rodriguez needs off each month, but that might not warrant a spot on the 25-man roster. Ransom hit .180/.226/.320 as A-Rod's replacement during the first month of the season.

I am not a big Cody fan, I know, how odd, but upgrade from Berrora and best as bench player anyway, too much was asked of him early on, we shall see.

2009 New York Yankees - Facelift Time

This is how you get it done, a nip and tuck here and there -

Drop Matsui asap, get DeRosa, now. We can give Matsui a fan day in 2010 for all he has done, bye.

Trade Cano and get some BP help immediately, maybe a quality OF too, see if they can squeeze in a starter for the farm also….

C – Cervelli/Molina

1B - Tex

2B – Pena (love this kid only will get better)

3B – A-Rod/DeRosa,

SS - Jeter

LF – Swisher/Nady

CF - AJ

RF – Melky/Damon

DH – Posada/Damon

Pena manager, Cone pitching coach, Willie bench coach, Tino batting coach

Done deal, 27 WS in 4 months!

And yes, Cashman, send him packing with a ticket to Boston holding a sign, "will work for food"

New GM - Gene Michael

exactly what i just said...just walks a batter and bonehead swings at the first pitch, idiot and  act like a captain, take a picth or two...we had him on the ropes.....they are all losers!

i knew it, i knew jeter would do that....god he's driving me nuts all season....where is the strategy before one gets to the plate, long is horrible, maybe think, how do you want to go after this pitcher...let me think, I WILL SWING AT THE FIRST PITCH AND GROUND TO SS AGAIN

Is partying and Kate Hudson the reason A-Rod needs rest?

According to the New York Post, it's not surprising that New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez(notes) is feeling a bit sluggish — the wilting all-star was caught partying in South Beach with Hudson, his main squeeze, in the wee hours Saturday morning.

The Post nicknamed Rodriguez: "MIA-Rod.''

The Post also noted that keeping Rodriguez on the bench is expensive, $203,704.40 a game. Rodriguez was rested Friday and Saturday after his batting average slipped to .212.

The third baseman was seen leaving an exclusive party with the actress at around 2:30 a.m.

Done

At best, they will be 82-80, team is a joke, team cannot bunt, cant execute hit and runs, cant play good D, cant manage, cant coach from either pitching or batters view, constantly fall into 0-2 counts, TOO MANY DP's, no clutch, broadcasters are horrible, radio and TV, GM is a piece of crap, cant get runners in from third with less than 2 out.

A prayer for every Yankee to lay down BUNTS -

Psalm 34:4 (New International Version)

 4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.

Lay the F'n bat down Jeter and the rest of you overpaid morons!

Ofaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

oh and yes, happy fathers day to all dads, god bless!

Tough one last night

I know Cano has been good so far this year but was I the only one who saw that coming. Usually the hitter wins that one after fouling a few off but it was like slow motion. They said he was not running hard down the line, I didn’t see but the last few strides and it did show the Cano Trot. Why wasnt A-Rod running on the picth, was he? These are the games we have to win and every time I look up, I see the Sox just winning, different ways in winning too. Something is missing this year and I am usually hard on this team from every angle but seriously something is missing. I think it’s a lack of discipline. Melkey should not be diving for that ball, he should know better by now, he’s not a rookie.  I have said this before, we have a god team, but not the greatest of coaches, they don’t seem to be instilling discipline into these guys. Championship teams are disciplined at the plate, field , running the base paths and roaming the outfield. Swisher has looked like a clown in right jumping after balls 5 foot above his glove. There is no situational hitting either, god forbid we bunt also, the Mick bunted! I know, I know, broken record here... I really don’t see what Matsui brings to the game anymore, groundballs to short just don’t get me excited anymore, maybe the occasional pop up to third, he has to GO now, make Posada the full time DH, too many passed balls and his throws to second are not fun to watch, though Pena dropped a good one last night and ok, let Cervelli and Molina do the catching. Back to the coaches, they really have to go, how a few rookie pitchers can make this team look bad is beyond me, since last summer we have heard them say, “He had his best stuff tonight against us” or “He was throwing strikes all night”, so good, hit the darn ball, its what your getting paid to do.

Anywya, what are your thoughts where we are right now and what needs to be done to make it to October?

A Fan's View on an afternoon: 6-12-2009

Eiland Must Go! This is one of the many issues with what is going on this season. Who even is this guy. So he was good with the young guns when they were 18-21…he clearly cannot handle vets and way over his head. Matsui is done, Damon is a joke with his pep talks, “We’ll get them next time”, enough of that, just do it already. Regarding Veras throwing in the in the BP last night, I said to myself, you have to be kidding me, sit down and go warm someone up, before this turns to 9-3. Lets spend 500,000,000 billion on the tam and forget the BP. They talk about Bruney if he is Cy Young for god sakes, he is good but not that good, geez. The season has a long way to go, a few good trades here and there will solidify the team for sure. Its going to be hard but time to say ciao to Matsui, he’s done, over Johnny, no mas….use these roster spots for new blood. As for one CF named Garner, come on man, you had all day to size that throw up last night and that is your best, time to pack the bags, bring up AJ now and Montero, Posada the DH, Cervelli and Montero catch and lets grab this thing once and for all. Lastly, I am a huge Nick Swisher fan but dude, maybe the mohwak was a bit too close to your brain, what the heck are you doing out there, that is bush league and once again, Thomson, Yong or Eiland never held accountable. Who are there guys anyway, Moe, Larry and Curly, Red Sox spies. Go, get out of here, Long live Zimmer, the real genius behind it all, seriously, Yankee coaches are supposed to be groomed and vets, these guys are ex Lowes employees. Good luck all and cya around the diamond.

PS - Cashman, you may leave also, only you can have the key to the caddy and blow it!
