Card Chronicle Chane Behanan News

Chane Behanan has turned his phone off.  He and his mother are currently talking about committing to being a CARDINAL.  We, hopefully, will have one of the top 2011 forwards wearing Red and Black.  Most scouting analysts believe him to be a huge CARDINAL LEAN.  Hopefully, we will find out soon whether he will be in the KFC YUM CENTER or not in 2011.

Also, according to an insider close w/ the Cardinal Program, Chane, Miller, and Bello have all verbally comitted to Rick Pitino and they just want to make their announcement however they see fit.  I know that Miller wants to do it on ESPNU.

This is an excellent time to be a CARD fan!!!!  2011is going to be monstrous!!!!!!

Card Chronicle 2011 Cardinals

Let me start with the visit on September 4th.  We have Quincy Miller, Deuce Bello, Chane Behanan, Josiah Turner,  and  Zach Price coming to the game.  I feel like all those top players being at the game will only make the game louder and more passionate and our strong fan base will make that even STRONGer.  We will get some commitments.  Wayne Blackshear was scheduled to visit, but for some reason he is rumored to have different plans.  Don't worry though, he is still a committed CARD.

Word is that Quincy, Deuce, and Chane are all planning on committing to a school sooner than expected.  Most insiders are thinking that Quincy and Deuce are a lock.  I fully believe that we will have both of them and Chane, with help of UK filling their roster for 2011, freshmen like Behanan do not want to be back ups.  That shit was expensive for UK, signing all those players.  However, when Kyle Wiltjer committed to UK, Chane turned his cheek on UK.  Also, on a positive note, against Huggie Bear, he canceled his visit to WVU to come and have an official visit with us.  That is in addition to the unofficial visit that he made earlier in the week, which he thoroughly enjoyed.  How could you not?  That arena is amazing.  Quincy and Deuce, I feel, were going to come to us either way, with the hiring of Tim Fuller.  Once he worked his magic, that is.  The magic has already been showing that it has an effect.  We just have to wait and see if it works.

UofL has cooled on Jakaar Sampson and are no longer recruiting him.  He is a 5 star, but I feel that there must be a good reason for them to not want to recruit him anymore.

We are still trying to recruit Tony Wroten, friend of Peyton Siva, and Josiah Turner, 5 star Point guard.  Turner will be here September 4th.  Its not definite whether Wroten will be here or not.  It is rumored that he is a hot head and has a huge ego.  I have not seen that as of yet, not sure where the rumor came from.  Either way, T-Will was the same way, according to Pitino.  Look how that turned out.

All in all, I am extremely excited about our 2011 class.  Shit, I am excited about our 2010 class.  I know that we are definitely going to be back to what we were in 2009 very shortly, if not this year, we will be next year.  Don't count this 2010 class out now though.  A lot of people are.  We will be a lot more talented than we were last year.  We have a couple leaders with good heads on their shoulders.  They will lead us to victory.  Think positive kids.  Oh.....and don't be too hard on me for spelling if I messed up a lot.....I've been drinking a little bit.  Today is my Friday and the woman and child are asleep.

Thanks for reading if you stuck through it!

Card Chronicle Davis cuts his list to 3 Schools

I thought that we were really in the running for this kid.  I guess not.  According to his father, he cuts his list to 3.  Kentucky, Ohio State, and Syracuse on Monday.  He would have been a major get for him to come to Louisville in 2011.  He had a visit scheduled this weekend with Wayne Blackshear but they had canceled it saying that they were going to be playing in a tournament.  Instead of rescheduling, they canceled the visit and Davis's Dad dropped this bomb.  I really hope that this doesn't effect Blackshears commit, I dont think that it will.  We still do have a lot of opportunities w/ other players for 2011 so Im not that worried. However, this would have been huge if we got him.  I'm really hoping that we can get Behannon (May be spelled wrong).

GO CARDS!

Card Chronicle They named the new downtown arena!!

The KFC Yum! Center.  Yum! paid $13.5 million.  Freedom Hall had a better ring to it in my opinion.

Anyway, here is the link to the article:

Why does it have to be 75 words long.  I dont quite understand.  Oh well. I guess I will just keep typing till it says that there is 75.

Card Chronicle Jerry Smith is out for the Big East Tournament

According to Courtside with Rick Pitino.

The following is from their Facebook page:

Courtside with Rick Pitino Jerry Smith out for the tourney...will be ready for NCAA Tourney.

They also posted this:

Courtside with Rick Pitino We might see Edgar and Siva play together.

Do you think that IF they do go with Edgar and Siva playing together it would work? I know that Pitino stated previously Sosa would not be able to play the 2 guard.
