Carolina Colt

Born and raised in South Carolina, one must say that I simply hopped on the Colts bandwagon after Super Bowl XLI or maybe after the Peyton established his supremacy in the NFL. To those accusations I simply respond with my blue #4 Colts jersey that I still occasionally wear on Sundays in the Fall and hopefully February (Oh yeah, that #4 jersey doesn't have Vinatieri on the back, it is branded with the name, Harbaugh).
My father was raised in New Castle and it seemed that we would schedule visits to Indiana based on the Colts schedule. Of course my father didn't grow up a Colts fan but he seemed leech on to the Colts and then brainwashed me for the last 22 years.
Now I enjoy the 3 and half hour trip down to Jacksonville, or if we are lucky we get to mosey on over to Atlanta or up to Charlotte.

Thoughts on Caldwell?
When Tony leaves we all know Jim Caldwell will be the new head coach of our Colts.
I have heard mixed opinions on Caldwell. I know his record was not great at Wake Forest, but I personally believe he will be able to maintain the success we have experienced over the last 6 years. He is not the same coach he was while at Wake, he has been in Indy watching and learning everything Tony does. Jim will be just fine as head coach of our Colts.
So how do you think Caldwell does when he takes over the Colts, either this year or in the future?

Great Article on Tony
There is a great article on Tony Dungy written by Dan Wetzel from Yahoo.
His 135-69 record in 13 NFL seasons ranks him 18th all time in total victories. This should be his 11th playoff appearance, and his Colts have now won 10 or more games in all seven of his seasons in Indy.
It’s more than that, though. Former players swear by him like almost no one else in the league. His assistants are fiercely loyal: In seven years, only three members of his staff have left for any reason.

Tailgating for Monday Night?
I am a life long Colts fan, but I couldn't turn down a chance to see what I foresee as the best MNF game of the season. So I impulsively bought 2 tickets off eBay and I am giving one ticket to one of my friends who is a Panthers fan.
I went to the Panthers-Colts preseason game this season but wasn't able to tailgate. We are taking the light-rail up to the game after work. Anyone know where the good tailgate spots will be on Monday night? Any changes since this will be a MNF game?
I hope the Panthers can pull it out, and their defense gets it together after the past 2 weeks. Go Cats!
