Alright, so we got Alex Smith. We all thought we were going to do great before the start of the season last year (or at least I did). But Matt Cassel didn't play very well, and we had a pretty disappointing season. Now, we have a quarterback just as good, or better, than Matt Cassel ever was. So I mean, our QB may be better now, and we can compete for the playoffs! Remember when we went 10-6! That can happen again easily! Sure, we're not perfect, but we're much better. And that's a start right there.

Can the chiefs win the AFC west?

The chiefs aren't going 2-14 for a while now, with strong coach Andy Reid, and the first round pick in the 2013 draft. Time will only tell if we'll win the AFC west next year. Look at the broncos season this year, they basically have lost to every good team they've played. For example, Atlanta, Houston, and New England. Yet they were all away games for the broncos, (except for Houston) and were fairly close, they still lost. They DID beat the Steelers and the Ravens though. And lets face it, Peyton Manning's gunna get old someday!
