AS PER THE HUFFINGTON POST: Ben Roethlisberger's bodyguards guarded the entrance to the bathroom where he allegedly sexually assaulted a 20-year-old college student, according to an eyewitness account at FanHouse. Another witness tells the web site that the Steelers quarterback looked "as surprised as anybody" when police arrived at the Milledgeville, Ga. bar later in the night. A woman who claims to have partied with Roethlisberger the night of the alleged assault says the Steeler "was not nice." She tells WTAE Pittsburgh that he "bought a round of shots for girls and said, 'All you bitches, take my shots.'" The article reports that Roethlisberger "hit on her but she wasn't interested and didn't like the way he was acting, so she left." The two-time Super Bowl champion, who last year was accused of rape in Nevada, reportedly admitted to having "sexual contact" with his most recent accuser in Georgia, but denies that an assault took place. While he initially refused to provide a DNA sample, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that he is arranging to submit one. Possibly complicating matters is the fact that the initial investigating officer posed for pictures with Rothlisberger, who has since hired a private investigator to look into his accuser's claims.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been accused of sexual assault by a young woman in Georgia, TMZ has learned. The alleged incident occurred early this morning at Capital City -- a club in Milledgeville, Georgia. According to law enforcement sources, the alleged victim -- who has already been interviewed by police -- was treated at a local hospital and released. We're told in addition to the alleged victim, witnesses are being interviewed -- and one law enforcement source says they will attempt to interview Roethlisberger. In addition to the Milledgeville Police Dept, we've learned the Georgia Bureau of Investigations is also investigating. As we previously reported, Roethlisberger is being sued by a Reno woman, Andrea McNulty, who claims the QB sexually assaulted her in 2008. UPDATE: We're told Ben Roethlisberger has already been interviewed by police. We're also told no formal charges have been filed at this point. Jesus....i've never seen more people try to blame a loss on a ref's call!!!  Jesus...tripping is when you stick your legs out and trip the opposition....which is what happened!  Lol!  They never reall acknowledge the 2 pick sixes that father time threw.  Come on Daily Norseman.....you lost...fair and square.....DEAL.  Nah....they would rather cry about a blown call....which wasn't really blown at all. I need a good pic that symbolises the Steelers kicking the Ba-jesus out of the cards.  Much like the Hummer that ran over the raven on the way to Tampa pic posted under Fanshots.  Anyone have any photoshop skills?  The more pics the merrier!  I want to start posting them on different blogs and I need to start spamming my cardinal loving friends.  Well, they don't so much love the cards, but they hate the steelers.  I have tried and tried to show them the error of their ways, to no avail!     

Well, I'm hungover, my voice is non-existent, and I don't smell too good!  Last night was awesome!  Nothing like being around a hundred Ravens fans here in MD and sticking it in their dirty bird faces when we won!  They were actually still talking shit when they were losing!   LOL.  Most of them made a quick exit after the Troy P. pick 6 when I fired up the "HERE WE GO STEELERS CHANT" for the 40 or so faithful Steeler fans there!  What an exciting night.  The team played excellent.  One thing that did make me cringe was Limas Sweed's fricking hands.  Ben hit him on his shoulder pads once, and put it directly in his hands again.  He flubbed them both.  One of them would have been a touchdown, and the other damn close if it wasn't.  I think this would have been an EXCELLENT time for him to step up and shine!  Ben did all he could from his end, the passes couldn't have been prettier.  I hope this kid developes some hands soon. 

Hello all!  I am trying to get up there Sunday for the game!  What are some sweet places I could watch it?  Preferably somewhere downtown, not family oriented : ), and where I would be in the company of swillers of thy beer.  I don't mean to get too specific, but I don't like tame places as I am prone to have sudden outbursts that may include, but are certainly not limited to:  swearing, whistling, fist pumping, jumping, Terrible Towel waving, heaving objects, burping, etc.   I am pretty familiar with Station Square, but outside of that, I get pretty lost.  If you know any places that may be a good fit, I'd appreciate the input!

MIKE TOMLIN continues to rewrite the record books in Pittsburgh becoming the only head coach in Steelers’ history to win division titles in his first two seasons as he established a franchise record with 22 wins in that time. The Steelers secured the second seed in the AFC, captured the AFC North Division title for the second year in a row, and posted a 6-0 record within their division as part of their 12-4 record. Under Tomlin’s leadership, the Steelers led the NFL in total defense, pass defense, scoring defense and finished second in rush defense. The defense was bolstered by the team’s 51 sacks, including James Harrison’s team-record 16. As per ESPN's NFL injury list, Troy P's condition was updated yesterday from "probable", to "questionable".  Does anyone have any specifics on what's wrong, other than "calf", as espn explains it.  We really need him in that secondary!  I hope he is able to go on Sunday!  Him merely being on the field is intimidation by itself.

So, all signs point to BR starting again this week.  Tomlin has made pretty clear he is going to keep starting him, hurt or not!  This mentality is still crazy to me!  So this is the game I believe it HAS to start turning around.  If BR doesn't start clicking this game, yes, I am afraid we are going to be watching the playoffs without our black and gold taking part.  Now is the time to step up, and step up BIG!  We NEED a win, bad.  I'm not talking about winning by a field goal.  I'm talking a convincing win over a good team!

I have to imagine this is a good thing.  Mr. Mitch sure as hell wasn't doing much on the punt end of things!  I don't know too much about the guy we signed yet, aside from what the short article on the steelers website had to say.  Not a bad average for yards per punt.  Any thoughts on this guy, or does anyone know anything about him?

I love the steelers, as does everyone else who frequents BTSC!   I was born in Pittsburgh and most of my family still resides there.  I relocated to NY long ago, and then to the outskirts of DC in 2003.  I'm not a "shit talker" before games.  It without question makes you look like an ass; ten fold if you lose.  You people just wouldn't believe the crazy talk down here that started WEEKS ago about next weeks MNF match up.  Not only do I hear from EVERYONE how the steelers are going to be smoked by the skins, I also hear they will no doubt be proceeding to the super bowl.  I have officially had it!  The skins look good, I won't take that from them, but good enough to "smoke" the steelers?  Slow your roll fair weather skins fans!  I hope the steelers come out on fire.  If we wind up winning, I am going to jam this win so far up the hind quarters of all the skins fans surrounding me, I am borderline going to be asking for an ass wooping.  LOL.

Hello there.  I am a Steelers' fan relocated in the DC area.  I am sick of seeing / watching / hearing about the Redskins and Ravens.  I am trying to watch the game via internet tonight, but don't have time to search around for different software programs that claim to stream EVERYTHING.  Does anyone have any clue if KDKA is streamed via any particular software app. out there?  Please let me know, I'm not going to have much time when I get home from work to get everything set up before kick off.  For the love of god, someone give me some good news, because if they black out another Steelers game down here, I may become violent : ).  I don't care if it's pre-season or not!
