Over the second half of the season there was a lot of people on here talking about rondo should be traded, and that other PG's in the league are better than him and blah blah blah....i really hope that has changed as of tonight during this game. You will not find another player in the league, besides another celtic, that will show more HEART and loyalty than he did tonight.  Rondo will hopefully be in the same shoes as pierce and retire a celtic.  Just remember heart/leadership outweighs flash and a couple cool dunks anyday!  Rondo...the greatest PG in the NBA, glad he is on our team.

Wow this is getting out of hand.  I see all these people on here blaming rondo for the teams recent games lost.  It is towards the end of the season folks, they did far worst last year.  I believe he could step his game up, and the teams energy does fall under him setting the pace, but dont sit here and be half ass fans and love the guy when he is shining then hate on him and say stuff like he needs to be traded.  Go look @ his playoff numbers and tell me would we make it to any title without him!  The answer to that is hell no!!  The kid is in a little slump and if im correct, KG has been on one this season, pierce has had games well below 10 pts..and Ray is just coming out of a slump and i dont see any trade KG, Ray, or Pierce threads out there!  Id like to see half of you fair weather fans go play the minutes he plays all year and expect him to be perfect everygame, no one is in the nba, NOONE!  When the playoff comes and he is leading us to the way like true player he is i hope all of you choke on your disrespectful words....

There's been a lot of speculation around celtic nation about rondos minutes.  As well there should be, hes been logging in more minute than anyone on the team and at this point in the season you can tell its starting to wear on him!  A good unit to have on the floor that could probably do some damage offensively, not sure how well defensively, would be running pierce or Ray at the 1 and 2, green at the 3, kristic and G at PF and C...see how that works until delonte comes back.  Arroyo will be a better fill in than bradley for sure, he can handle the rock, is a proven shooter and wont be as out of control with experience and he did start most of the season so he should be in good shape.  We will see how it goes down against the clippers on Wednesday, couple good days of practice and time to shut down the Blake Show!

PS. rondo is saving his energy for the playoffs, mark my words!...we have seem him turn into a superstar when the post season arrives....

Game 7 against the Orlando Magic was probably the worst playoff basketball the Celtics played this year.  To much one on one games going on, despie scoring easily off ball movement at times, the team didnt play as a team enough.  Ray Allen forced a lot of shots, rondo still didnt fight through screens and let alston take to many uncontested shots, Pierce had to get through double teams (so can't blame him for much) ...i don't know it just seemed like they wantes to play.  Hats off to Marbury for being energized and actually attacking the basket, despite his 3 quick turnovers.  One thing I didnt understand is why we were doubling so much in the post and not rotating quickly on shooters.  Orlando shot well because a majority f their 3 pointers were uncontested.  If Scal works on his ball handling  and get some strength over the off season, he will be a great asset next year because he is a really good shooter and plays really aggressive defence.  Big baby didnt really show up after the game winner, tried to do to much when he had the ball or was in foul trouble. Etc, etc....

Hopefully in the offseason they can work on the bench.  Seems like wasted money having Walker, Giddens, Pruitt, Allen, Moore all on the bench and not even get any playing time.  Hopefully its because most of them are young or its just a waste of money in my eye.  There are a lot of good free agents on the market this year so hopefully Boston digs in there pockets and give this team more depth so we can be solid for a championship run next year.

Well looks like the C's get some extra rest this off season and hopeully use all the time to there advantage in getting better individually and as a team.   I can not wait until next season to take the throne back! Celtic Pride 4 life...great season guys!

Rondo for MVP next year

omg, to all the people comparing Rondo to D-Will and CP3 saying rondo is not on their level...i think rondo wins out of them because he can win games with steals, assists, and rebounds.  In game 2 of the bulls its was rondo and big baby that held them in the game in the first half, not allen, not pierce, and you know KG's story.  With out Rondo the Celts wouldnt be the celtics, he sets the pace and makes his teammates better no matter who it is.  Rondo should be an all-star but you know the hype.  Ive been to a celtics practice and watched him light everyone up on the team, he doesnt have to score big points like some guards, but he CAN if he HAD to...and people saying he cant shoot, he shot over 50% and has been hitting 3's..suck on that haters
