"With those guys ahead of him, we don't expect our No. 4 tailback to play much. So we're giving Ronnie Brown the job. He has one 1,000-yard season in his injury-pocked five-year career. But who runs the Wildcat formation better than this crafty southpaw?" Surprising, yet awesome. Jason Taylor made the list as well, but he was a lock. My opinion: Swap Ronnie for ZT.
Watching some of Fins-Jets from November on NFLN -- Really not sure why so many people see Henne as such a weakness. Lots of promise there. ... Looks decisive, strong-armed, accurate and poised against top-ranked Jet defense. A player. He, Ryan and Flacco in 08 = strong QB class.

via AquaVision Carroll presents himself as a confident, well spoken, and intelligent individual. It's a shame that he's had to deal with some tough injuries, and one can only hope he has the physical tools to improve our secondary.
I'm sure by now you've both heard and read about the four game suspension handed down to Texans linebacker and defensive leader, Brian Cushing. It's an unfortunate development to be sure, but one...

A nice audio supplement to Matty's front page article, conducted by ESPN's Jay Sodeberg, Scouts Inc. analyst, Matt Williamson, and AFC East blogger, Tim Graham. Skip ahead to 26:18 for the beginning of the debate.
"Who'd we lose to?" - Rex Ryan
No, our quarterback doesn't quite crack the top ten, but writer Andy Benoit has this to say about Chad Henne, who is on the cusp: "OK, no one is wondering why he's not in the top 10. But this is an opportunity to mention that he will be among the elite soon."
More often than not, analysis of the draft reviews put forth by the so-called "experts" degenerates into nonsensical mud slingling. Mel Kiper sucks! Todd McShay? That guy couldn't mock draft his way out of a paper bag! None of these idiots can appreciate the genius of this draft! Well, the folks over at Football Outsiders have put together an innovative and intelligent breakdown of the 15 most prominent draft graders you'll find on the Internet. A big thanks to Richard Hill over at Pats Pulpit for this find.
Bleeding Green Nation's "Bye Dawk" put in a fantastic effort to compile a look at the average ages of all thirty-two offensive lines, as well as individual players. While a difference of mere months is nothing to get worked up over, I found it mildly surprising, as I would've pegged the Dolphins a little lower. Our rank would obviously drop some with say, Donald Thomas or John Jerry at left guard instead of Smiley.

A nice read from Armando about our GM on draft day.
Let me begin by saying that I am unabashedly supportive of this, the Trifecta's third draft class. After taking a step back to consider the 2008, 2009, and 2010 drafts in their entirety, it's...
