I LOVE the NFL, and the 49ers. Fan of the 49ers since 1989-90, when at 5 years old, I saw Rice & Montana vs. Dallas. Was taught to stick w/ "your team", so I've been a niner-fanatic ever since.

Self-proclaimed "father-of-the-year", 6 yrs running (08-13): Single dad raising 2 daughters, which defines me the most so I have to make a point of mentioning as well.

I love THE Ohio State Buckeyes as an OH native. The 2003 Nat'l Championship Game was the greatest football game I've ever watched.

I started following basketball when the Lakers picked up Kobe, and have been a Laker fan since. IMO, Kobe is THE closest thing to Michael Jordan 2.0 we've ever seen; he's "MJ Lite". If MJ had never come along, Kobe would have been the guy we consider the greatest. He's got a similar aggressive style, and he's got that "I'll eat your heart" attitude that makes them winners- the ONE thing that keeps LeBron out of that territory, sad but true.

I've always liked the city of Boston, but became a Red Sox fan only after watching the entire 2004 ALCS comeback vs the "almighty" Yankees; I always root for the underdog. Hated the 99-01' Rams, and predicted the Patriots to win 24-17 in the 01 super bowl (20-17 was the final score).

A Fan Of...

  • MLB Boston Red Sox
  • NBA Los Angeles Lakers
  • NFL San Francisco 49ers
  • NCAAF Ohio St. Buckeyes
  • Golf Tiger- Just Respect
  • NASCAR None. Hate it
  • MMA F Griffin/C Liddell
  • Cycling Lance Armstrong's a horrible human being
  • Fantasy Me and Beyonce
  • Summer Olympics M. Phelps' Team (minus Lochte)
  • The Championship Late80s/Early90s 49ers

Are you saying that about Decker after seeing how he reacted to Seattle's DBs, or are there anymore examples of this happening?

I posted this a few months ago, before Gordon's (actual) suspension. I tried to be fair, and weigh different strengths different guys bring to the table. It's not perfect, but pretty objective I would say. You decide.

Brandon Marshall is no worse than that second "tier" of wide receivers right behind Megatron.

And Deion played some offense, could have been a decent #2 or #3 WR for nearly half the teams in the NFL, as well.

Right, that was basically my point. Gordon IS absolutely, positively psychologically addicted to pot (which is as much or more a part of addiction than the physical part, b/c it can last forever, as opposed to days).

Problem for Graham (and any player for the Saints, for that matter) is that it has plenty to do with the system the Saints run in addition to their talent.

They should have told him ok, well you're a slot receiver then, because THAT is where you lined up most of the time.

Right, exactly. That is basically what Graham's argument was; that he lined up at WR, and if that is the case,
Commented on Jimmy Graham declared a tight end for franchise tag purposes on Jul 2 2014, 4:28p - 2 replies
Well apparently Jimmy Graham wanted to be paid as if he was a SLOT receiever (which is what his argument was centered around) that can't block like a traditional TE.
