A recent AP article claims Favre has more freedom to audible than Childress has given previous QB's.  While I get that with Jackson to a degree, the article specifically points out Johnson and Ferotte were frustrated with the limited freedom allowed by Childress. It makes me wonder if the Vikings could have won a couple more games if those veterans were given a little more freedom.  Need to add five words.

In an interview with the Houston Cronicle, Winfield said he and Griffin are among the best CB tandems in the NFL.  Houston Cronicle Article

I'd personally place them in the second tier right behind the top groups mentioned.  Hopefully it's some postive thinking and with some hard work they'll make it true.  Griffin is young and has improved every year, so I wouldn't rule out them elevating their game to be among the elite.  Now, we just need a nickle back and dime back that opposing teams can't easily outmatch.  McCauly still could be and Allen is good prospect.  I'd also like to see safeties that are better in coverage.
