I don't know guys. How much cap space do we have right now? Will any of it go for a Guard? Or whatever position deamed necessary?
Commented on Gerald McCoy will get a contract extension -- the question is just at what price? on Jul 30 2014, 3:58p - 2 replies
Or if Evans is in the mix, then he's close to being a TE too. Maybe it should be called the 4Monster Offense. Good to see Streeter is showing up too.

McDonal mentions that EDS is an exceptional Center. And that's really good. They will push each other to get much better. And McCoy is taking our Guards

With 3TE sets as a possibility, an array of Wright, Stocker and ASJ would be awesome. Defenses would be even more dumbfounded.
Commented on Position battles and Vines from today's Buccaneers training camp on Jul 28 2014, 9:34p
There's been talk of 3TE sets. How do we pull that off? Do we put Wright, Stocker or ASJ in an HB set? Send the HB in motion?

Wow. The best 7. Means will have to work his butt off to crack that lineup. It would have to come by beating out Gholston or Bowers or Clayborn. Tough job.
Commented on Lovie Smith talks position battles and injuries on Jul 27 2014, 8:52p
Demps just needs to do this every day. Lovie and Tedford love speed. Demps's speed is out of sight. And he can catch. Nice combo.

No. I want to see Licht go into the next draft with a full compliment of picks. I can see Meredith filling one guard position. Now to find a compliment to
Commented on Three ways the Buccaneers can solve their guard problems on Jul 27 2014, 8:32p
Yes. #3. And Jace Daniels can be the 'swing' T, G or even backup Center. Let's see what the Gs and Ts and Cs already on board can do.

IDK. Those 'lost years' it seemed as if Dom wanted Freeman to be 'The Face of the Franchise'. Yet Freeman was terribly inconsistent attempting to do so.
Commented on Gerald McCoy is the true successor to Derrick Brooks on Jul 27 2014, 12:29a
And how about Gil Byrd with those CBs? Nothing to worry about.

Isn't this Luke's last year on his rookie contract too? Time to show up and get 'er done. He did make quite a few blockes for Doug in Doug's rookie season.

The answer is: YES.
Commented on Lovie Smith talks about Carl Nicks, Gerald McCoy and Bucs' first practice in training camp on Jul 25 2014, 10:33p
Good luck Carl. It is sad your career came to this. I guess 'Next Man Up' is the refrain. Now Licht has something else to do this offseason. I suspect he'll
Commented on Carl Nicks, Buccaneers part ways with "amicable settlement" on Jul 25 2014, 9:32p - 1 reply
Good to see how Licht and Lovie are handling this. And good that Carl has given them pretty much a full camp to adjust.

TRUE

Wright is still our secret weapon. At 6-4, 230 he'll play a big role. Great hands doesn't hurt either. Can you see him doing crossing routes with ASJ?

Time for a turnaround for Nicks' luck. That would sure be great.
Commented on Buccaneers training camp starts without Carl Nicks on Jul 25 2014, 1:04a
Yep. It almost sounds like Luke is ready to live up to expectations. That would be a pleasant suprise.

Pound the vibes.

I trust in Hardy Nickerson and Lovie Smith. We will have an outstanding LB corps this year. And that will make our Front 7 incredible. No doubts.
Commented on Buccaneers claim Brandon Magee off waivers on Jul 24 2014, 9:16p
Yes. I was suprised when Lovie made mention of Stocker in that interview. Has he 'upped' his game? If so, then great.

A reborn Bowers would make our front 4 totally awesome. Now's the time DQB. Of course going up against Demar ain't easy. But required work.

The entire front 7 will be beast. Nickerson. Enough said.

An array of Napalm Cannisters.

Motivation. Execution. Playing 'For' Lovie Smith. The primary motivation. With Lovie's and Tedford's schemes, both the Defense and Offense will execute

I'm a Demps homie too. Tedford has to find a place for Demps' speeed. Split him wide and blow the top off of Defenses. Easy. Although I'd like to see
Commented on Buccaneers training camp: Three position battles to watch on Jul 23 2014, 8:24p
OK. In hopes that Nicks has a complete great season, I'll go with Meredith at RG. At LDE I'm for Bowers who finally shows up with all he's got. Then for the

Very true. And going up against our DL through camp should sharpen their awareness too. Warhop is a great OL coach, but he'll be being assisted by

Like Doug and VJax it is probably a matter of securing the catch before trying to run with it. Correcting that primary mistake will change everything.
Commented on Three Buccaneers named to Top 25 breakout prospects on Jul 22 2014, 9:26p
I'm a Ghoul fan too. Teamed with Johnson, we'd have Twin Towers on our DL. That should translate into many tipped balls. Ducks. And if he can

I'm taken by suprise. I thought DJ had that Nickel position as the starter. It makes me wonder just how good our other DBs are with DJ being released.

Now to see how he adapts to a Zone Blocking Scheme. Will he be nimble enough? At least we get to find out pretty soon.

That's kind of my point. To me, it all boils down to 'value judgements'. Taken to extremes the result is prejudices considered Bigotry.

Then there's men and sheep too. I wonder what the scientists have found in those studies. Is there a sheep gene? Woody Allen comes to mind.
