I don't get it. Kiper making incredibly reasonable picks for the Bucs? This is a first. Has Hell frozen over? Is this the end of the world?

Yeah. How many games has Barron won? Now, how many games has Martin won? How does that feel? Makie sense?

At least we get that QB on the rookie contract for 5 years if taken in the 1st. Only 4 years if taken any other round. But that's nit picking.

I agree completely. I wasn't saying I want to see Licht trade up for Sammy at all. Just trying to see a possibility for why MWill was let go.

So far all of the QBs in this draft seem to have wrinkles in their games that need ironing out. Not so much Teddy.

Wait a minute WBF. Tedford: as in Teddy. What a connection! Is this the real clue as to who the real Mr. XQB is? TB to TB too.

Tanks for the playbook info. So how does Carl Nicks fit into the lighter weight/agile zone scheme?

The MWill trade. Just maybe I've broken the code. It's a big 'What if' but possible. Here you go:

Who wouldn't want the next Drew Brees? If anybody compares to a Drew Brees in this draft, it's Aaron Murray.

For me, being a 'run heavy' team utilizing the bell cow concept is OK enough, but like you suggest, there are teams who won't hesitate

Maybe in his 3rd season we'll see Barron get better than his 1st two seasons and justify being picked 1st that draft. The Truth is

I had to go with Fiedo as my first for his Lunch Pail feature and being a complete TE. I had RR as my second with the Tedford connection.

So what could Teddy do with a dominant OL? He's never been in that situation.
Commented on 2014 NFL Draft: The problem with waiting on a quarterback on Apr 18 2014, 2:12p
That's the thing. McCown is the starting QB. Even if a rook comes on board, McCown is probably still the starting QB.

Hence, not Teddy. He's pretty much already developed. All of the rest of them qualify for developemental projects.

Oh. I'm with you on the QB being under center for effectively operating a 'run heavy' offense. And I'm sure McCown can be that QB.

Just go back two years and imagine the War Room board having this alignment of BPA:

Definately. When Licht said what he said about Mr. X, the top 3 were seen to be off the board. Who could have known these QBs could

I'm just taking a wait and see attitude. Rules are made to be broken too. I agree, there's no need to wait until next year or the next

Grains of salt, if not tons. The salt mines are being worked. Always keep a good supply. Fortunately it is cheap.

That dasturdly Spread Offense! The Shotgun! Why put your QB in a positon to see the entire field from the snap? Why make the D cover

The Truth Sander. Take your franchise QB in the first. But when in the 1st? Does Licht wait until pick #7 hoping this QB falls there? Or,

Here's an idea crazy as it is. It's been said Matthews can play every position on the OL. How about TE? Does he have really good hands?

What about Bridgewater's OL? Even against low grade competition, they were shit. Yet Teddy put up some good numbers.

Quite an idea. I can hardly wait to see what Licht does Day 1. Wouldn't it be wierd to see him do the trade before Day 1?

Wouldn't want a Glennon Clone. That's understandable enough.

I was led to believe David called the signals last year. With our DL, I'm thinking they'll keep the OL too busy to release and go

Depends? Is there a really old QB in this draft? I wonder if Ronde left a box behind. Too bad they are probably too small for VJax.

I kind of first saw Bortles as a lot like Glennon with fewer problems to fix. A Logan Thomas would fall into that catagory too, but maybe

I agree. There are so many ways Licht can go about obtaining a solid trade down to get a 4th round pick. But in so doing,
