The NFL draft will kick off in primetime for the first time in 2010, it was announced Thursday. The first round of the 2010 NFL Draft will start on Thursday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET, with the second and third rounds on Friday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. ET, followed by Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, April 24 at 10 a.m. ET.

Heard this on ESPN NFL Live: Favre to the Vikings is still a very real possibility. Reportedly Favre sent X-rays of his throwing shoulder to the Minnesota Vikings yesterday to be evaluated by their medical staff. The assumption is that if it is determined Favre would need major surgery, he would remain retired. However if major surgery is not required, Favre joining the Vikings is a very real possibility.

The Chiefs allowed Gonzalez and his agent, NFL power broker Tom Condon, to shop for a trade. Gonzalez and Condon narrowed their options to Philadelphia, the Giants, Atlanta and one other team. Condon preferred the Giants and the Falcons primarily because he represents their quarterbacks, Eli Manning and Matt Ryan.

What I liked is we were outdoors in windy conditions and I saw everything I wanted to see. Three step, five step, seven step, play action. Short, intermediate which is important in the NFL, and deep routes. And what you know about Matthew Stafford is he throws the football on the deep, in breaking route maybe better than any college football player I've ever seen in my life.
