Vikes release left tackle Bryant McKinnie. Was on non football injury list, had $4.9M base and $1m roster bonus. Brought in Charley Johnson
If injury isn't too bad, could the Chiefs be interested in McKinnie as a RT?

Top UDFA Available (for whenever the lockout ends)
This is a list of the top UDFAs that I have compiled for us to speculate over even thought there is no FA due to the lockout. As I put this together, I realized the number of big name college players who were initially projected as high draft picks, but for whatever reason they fell off of teams' draft boards. Another thing I noticed was the number of underclassmen who declared and didn't get picked, sad story for those players.
Feel free to add anyone I missed. I felt like doing this mainly because I look forward to the UDFA signings after the draft every year, and it just didn't seem right this year without it, so I had to do something with it. I will list the positions and the top players at those positions:
QB: Pat Devlin (Delaware), Scott Tolzein (Wisconsin), Jerrod Johnson (Texas A&M)
RB: Noel Devine (West Virginia), Darren Evans (Virginia Tech)
WR: Terrence Toliver (LSU), Dane Sazenbacher (Ohio St), Derrell Johnson-Koulianos (Iowa)
TE: Weslye Saunders
OL: Justin Boren (Ohio St), Kristopher O'Dowd (USC)
DL: Ian Williams (Notre Dame), Pierre Allen (Nebraska)
LB: Mark Herzlich (Boston College), LB Orie Lemon (Oklahoma St)
CB: Kendric Burney (North Carolina)
S: Deunta Williams (North Carolina), Will Hill (Florida)

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Sunday that the club has released T/G Tyler Eastman, RB Kestahn Moore, TE Cody Slate and QB Bill Stull.
Update: Chiefs Cameron Sheffield released from hospital and movement in all his extremities
5th rounder S Kendrick Lewis signs with the Chiefs - he's the first of KC's 2010 Draft Class to ink
But be certain that no position in the next draft will be as highly pored over as wide receiver. There is six guys – [Jonathan] Baldwin, [Julio] Jones, A.J. Green, Michael Floyd, Terrance Tolliver and Austin Pettis – that are all big, fast and could get a first-round grade.
I think the Chiefs may address the receiver position next year with so much first round depth. Look for Julio Jones with Nick Saban connection and Michael Floyd with Charlie Weis connection. Haley could get his Larry Fitzgerald in next year's draft.
Best First Round Pick
Eric Berry, FS, Tennessee (drafted by Kansas City, 5th overall)
By now, everyone knows where I stand on Eric Berry. In the nine and a half years that I’ve been covering the NFL Draft, Berry was the most gifted defensive player that I’ve scouted. The instincts, awareness and ball skills that he possesses at the safety position are elite, and his ability to transition with receivers will allow him to line up at cornerback in certain situations at the next level. He’s an incredible talent who will immediately become a leader and the face of the Chiefs’ defense. I expect Berry to be a fixture in the Pro Bowl year after year, and when we reevaluate the 2010 draft class three years from now, Berry will be the most accomplished player from this class.
I can tell you this: Jimmy Clausen was never on the Chiefs' radar.

23. Kansas City Chiefs
Justin Blalock, G, Texas
The hard-nosed Blalock -- a second-round pick by the Falcons in 2007 -- has been rock-solid in his play throughout his career, and his presence in the middle of the Chiefs line would be welcomed by the team's current administration.
