Odell Beckham Jr., Wide Receiver, LSU

With the draft season underway, I'm going to take a look at some prospects and give my opinion on them. I will try to be as unbiased in my opinion as I can on each player. Always been terrible with...

Who are your top 10 Chiefs?

Do the Chiefs Have a Top 5 Defense?

In my opinion they do, were solid in all 3 areas of defense. On top of all that they probably have the best LB Corp in the league. Two Elites, an up-and-coming star and Belcher. Then we got a...

Rumors: Branden Albert Expected to Re-Sign Midseason

There is talk that the Chiefs are going to try and extend Albert during the 2012 season. Kansas City took him with the 15th-overall pick in 2008, and it wasn't until last year that he proved to be a reliable NFL left tackle. The Chiefs have a potential contingency plan in rookie lineman Donald Stephenson if Albert and the team can't agree on a long-term deal. But if Albert plays well in the first half of the season, one can expect him to land a lucrative long-term extension.

My 2013 Mock Draft, with the 22nd Pick the Chiefs select...

22. Kansas City Chiefs - Geno Smith, QB, WVU I love me some Geno Smith and I think the Chiefs will too. He's got a lot of solid NFL traits going for him even if he comes from the Air Raid system. Pocket presence/mobility, can progress through reads, looks off coverages, passion for the game, competitor with a never quit attitude, 4th quarter comebacks, shows up on the big stage, hard worker, leadership, can throw laser and a snap quick release. I think he's gonna be a baller in the NFL, and if the Chiefs find themselves in another early playoff exit they'll be looking for a new QB.(hopefully)

Way Too Early 2013 Mock Draft

1. Oakland Raiders - Matt Barkley, QB, USC via cbssports.com With QBs Tyler Bray, Logan Thomas & Aaron Murray staying in college another season this is an easy pick for the Raiders to make. They...

Dequan Menzie, the New & Improved Jon McGraw?

Nigel Bradham, ILB, FSU

Upside: • Sculpted like Adonis with very long arms • Physical, drive-through, punishing tackler • Plays the ball well in front of him • Intense competitor • Aggressive special-teams...

NFLN's Path to the Draft - Chiefs In Review

Path to the Draft - Chiefs Needs

For anybody that wants to know, later today on NFL Networks' Path to the Draft they'll be focusing on the Chiefs. They mentioned an "interesting scenario" for us at 11 as well.

Mike Tolbert Signs with Panthers

I know how some of you really wanted the guy, seems like he's hooking back up with Ron Riviera. We happen to play the NFC South this year so we'll be seeing him again.

Eric WInston Left KC Friday Night for Baltimore

What’s Up With Right Tackle Eric Winston? We know Winston was at the Chiefs on Friday. We know that they took him to lunch at Jack Stack, because Winston later tweeted on the event, providing a Twitter thumbs up for the food. But apparently he left town Friday night to make his previously scheduled visit to Baltimore. That’s too bad for the Chiefs, because getting Winston wrapped up and in the right tackle spot would have wrapped up a very good week for Pioli and his crew. Instead, they still have a major hole to fill on that right side.

Dontari Poe Film Breakdown Part 2

Mort & Schefter Talking Landing Spots for Manning on NFL Live

Mort sats we're "viable, but lukewarm" and he doesn't see it "as a match", and he's not "seeing it or feeling it", Schefter says "I put them in the same category as the Denver Broncos, not a likely...

Dontari Poe Film Breakdown Part 1

via www.rantsports.com Dontari Poe is seemingly coming out of no where after a great combine. Measuring in at 6'4, some places I've seen 6'3 and a half, 346 Lbs, he ran the 40 at an unofficial...

Brandon Carr "Coveted" by Cowboys

According to Pro Football Weekly, the Cowboys "covet" free agent CB Brandon Carr and are expected to "go all in for him" when the market opens. Carr is a big, physical corner with experience in both man and zone schemes, and he'd be a sizable upgrade on Terence Newman at left cornerback. The Cowboys can release Newman after March 13 and "designate" him a post-June 1 cut, saving over $6 million in cap space. Carr will command a pretty penny, but the secondary was Dallas' most glaring weakness for much of last season.

Why we won't Draft RGIII

Teams sources tell NBC Philadelphia's Howard Eskin the Redskins are prepared to offer the Rams their top three 2012 picks and "at least" their 2013 first-round pick to move up to draft Baylor QB Robert Griffin III.

Breaking Down Stanford Routt - 5 Part Series

This is a fantastic in-depth analysis on Routt's play last year, and is actually pretty un-biased. It's in 4 parts and goes over the penalties(Which weren't that bad, he went 8 games without getting flagged), Interceptions, TDs given up, general pass plays & his play against Megatron(He did pretty good btw, outside of penalties) I know a Raider fan wrote it, but don't generalize him for it. The dude seems pretty educated, and seems to know what he is talking about. I was going to do my own analysis, but this one was to good to pass up posting here.

Everybody is so focused on Rodney Hudson's old teammate, how about Big Jon Asamoah's, Jeff Allen? Per NFP: A thick, girthy offensive lineman who has experience at both right and left tackle. Doesn't possess a real athletic looking frame, most of his weight is right through the midsection and looks a bit sloppy. However, he can bend, plays low in pass protection and does a nice job keeping his base down on his kick slide and through contact. Possesses natural coordination and heavy hands through contact when asked to shuffle and slide. However, is inconsistent with his hand placement and doesn't do a great job gaining inside leverage. Will allow defenders to fight their way through contact toward the edge and would like to see him display more of a punch/jolt into contact. His natural girth gives him decent anchor strength, but is more of a catcher, doesn't do a great job extending his arm and jolting defenders on contact. Does a better job keeping his base down in the run game. Looks more comfortable from a two-point stance getting downhill and coming off the football. Works hard to stick through contact, extends his arms well, generates a slight pop and can turn defenders away from the play. However, allows himself to get upright into contact and doesn't create the leverage needed to consistently overwhelm. More of a sticky player than explosive power/in-line guy. Can be overwhelmed at times on contact when a smaller defender can get under him and will set the edge. Is quick off the snap, can get around on reach blocks and does a nice job sealing on the perimeter. Plays more like a finesse guy than his frame would lead you to believe. Impression: He's not an overpowering run blocker, but can bend, gain leverage and seal inside. He's smooth and coordinated in pass protection, can keep his base down and warrants a higher grade because of it. Needs to play inside at the next level, but looks like a guy who can start in the league. Other tidibits: 4 year starter, has Never missed a game due to injury, leader on the line, has played 4 different positions on the line(Illlinois actually doesn't have set starters and changes linemen around depending on the play). Probably could be had in the 4th-5th rounds.

Riley Reiff vs Oklahoma This is supposed to be a Top 10 pick? Color me not very impressed.

National Football Post Mock Draft 3.0

11. Kansas City Chiefs: Ohio State OT Mike Adams You have to think after the struggles the Chiefs had at right tackle last season, drafting a guy like Adams who has the size and athleticism to handle powerful NFL pass rushers is a must for them this off-season.

Another Possible RT?

Anthony Collins OT Cincinnati Bengals

Marcus McNeil Expected to be Waived by Chargers

Apparently he's got Spinal Stenosis, and they want to keep Gaither very badly. Maybe even give him the franchise tag.

Dolphin vs Chiefs 2011

Highlights from the Chiefs-Dolphins game in 2011, Daboll making it look too easy picking apart KC's defense to the tune of 34 points with Matt Moore & Reggie Bush in tow.

Raiders Offer OC Position to Greg Knapp, Texans QB Coach

Hahahahaha, god I hope so then we can hire Saunders. A Seahawk's fan compared Knapp's abilities as an OC too drinking water only to find out its Windex. Gotta be a good thing if hes on the Raiders right?

Let's Play Coaching Matchmaker: Hue Jackson to KC

Kansas City Chiefs: Hue Jackson Kansas City needs to find an offensive coordinator who can handle a murky quarterback situation. The Chiefs will have veteran Matt Cassel returning next season, and, allegedly, would like to re-sign Kyle Orton. In Oakland, the Raiders improved with Jackson from where they were previously. Jason Campbell and Carson Palmer weren't All-Pro quarterbacks by any means, but Oakland had more success under Jackson than before he arrived. Jackson knows the division's defenses well from coaching the Raiders, so that would give him a schematic head-start over other coordinator candidates. He will be highly motivated to get Kansas City's offense humming after getting fired by Oakland.

Bowe/Flowers/Carr fined for painting black shoes red

Interesting don't particularly remember them having red shoes on.
