This guy was an absolute beast in College at defensive end. He has a very quick first step and a powerful frame that allows him to get underneath offensive lineman to create great leverage. He is listed at 6-4 and 245 pounds. I know that he is a little small to play defensive end in either a 4-3 and espeially a 3-4 but man I really think he could be converted to a 3-4 rushing OLB. I read wear Arizona had a player they called the predator that almost always rushed the quarterback. Selvie would be perfect for this position seeing that he is a natural pass rusher.

This guy could significantly improve our pass rush and sack totals if he can continue to do what he did in college and that was chassing down quarterbacks.

For his career Selvie had 25.5 sacks and 186 tackles. His junior season he was in absolute beast with 14.5 sacks. The tackle numbers are very good for a defensive end which could prove that he could play OLB in the 3-4.

What do you all think.

The Denver post is reporting that the deal with Arrington is in question because of contract language. Denver is now pursuing other Free Agent Running Backs.

Things just keep getting worse in Denver. Its like a snowball that is just gathering up all the shit on its way down the hill.

I don't know how to put a link up so if anybody does head over to the denver post to set the link.

Go Chiefs!!!

Clayton from Espn on Pioli Interview

On todays Mike and Mike in the Morning John Clayton of ESPN said he has heard from his sources that the Pioli interview with the Kansas City Chiefs went really well. He said both sides thought it would be a good fit. Clayton also said that if Pioli is hired as GM Herm Edwards is out.

This is great news on many levels. Not only do we get Scott Pioli, but Herm gets fired as well. Nothing like taking care of two birds with one stone.

Hopefully this is true, and if so hopefully we can get an anouncement or Press conference announcing that Scott Pioli is our new general manager in the next couple of days.

I don't know if any of you have seen this yet but I just read an article that spoke of Tony G donating football equipment to a Los Angelas High School football team who had gotten there equipment stolen. He bought all new helmets and pads for the entire team. It also went on to say that Tony G did not go to High School there but that he had heard about what had happened and wanted to make sure the kids could still play. When asked about it Tony replied,"I didn't do this as a publicity stunt. I don't even know how you found out about it but I did it because football is football and those kids needed some help."
