Ahh yes, my first controversial "issue".  Logan has the ability to impact the games moreso than Redman or Summers at this time.  Let's see if he can "finalize" his move onto the roster with these last 2 preseason games.  The Steelers will gamble and PRAY that their short yardage answer is Mendy and Parker since they are relying on a *3rd string TE* to be the BLOCKING FB since the "Starting FB on the roster cannot get it done! Does that make any sense???

FB(1) Davis  *LOCK* and I'm not happy to type that either. He's a coaches favorite and its a shame. All due to his "special teams prowness that no one else can replace*...yes im being sarcastic about that last statement. This means Summers and Redman will go to the PS.

WR(5) Ward,Holmes,Wallace,Sweed,McDonald
Really not much debate here, McDonald is a *LOCK* to make this team cause he runs excellent routes and he doesn't DROP the damn ball! Dependable is the word that comes to mind.
TE(3) Miller,Spaeth,McHugh
Ahh yes, my next "tough" pick. I know Wex is going to disagree but McHugh is here cause
1) Steelers recently signed him to a 3 year deal. *(he's NOT eligible for the PS and they NOT going to cut someone they just signed..sorry..can't see it)*
2) Davis making this team DIRECTLY influences the Steelers to KEEP McHugh because he can and has STARTED at FB cause he's a better blocker and he knows the blitz pickup schemes.  Once again..I could write a book on why this is simply ridiculous that Davis is actually taking up 2 roster spots due to his mediocre play but I digress.
David Johnson like Summers and Redman are casualties of Davis. Johnson has arguably outplayed McHugh so far but like I said, see #1.

OLINE(9) STARTERS:Starks,Kemeoatu,Hartwig,Essex,Colon
               Depth:      Legursky,Foster,Capizzi,Urbik
Here's where it get fun: Urbik and Foster are LOCKS! no way we expose them by trying to sneak them onto the PS.  Capizzi has outplayed Hills IMO and Legursky is an adequate C backup.

You probably noticed that I left Stapleton out...I believe he is going to go on the PUP list. Which is unfortunate IMO because he was looking VERY good at center and I think he would have ended up starting at center and pushing Hartwig to the bench.  There is NO WAY Legursky gets cut, he's too valuable since we have no depth at center at the moment.  Legursky will go the PS if Stapleton is able to comeback in time before Tenn.

Ok, tough one here..had to cut Eason since I don't believe they will expose Harris to the PS.

InsideLB(4)      Farrior,Timmons,Fox,Woods
OutsideLB(4)   Harrison,Woodley,Frazier,Bailey
Bruce Davis is gone, Bailey gets in due to his above average special teams play.

CB(6) Taylor,Gay,Ratliff,Madison,Burnett,Lewis
People need to calm down, Burnett had one bad game...wow..he's a freaking rookie. It's part of the growing pains. I kinda think this is another reason Logan makes the squad, he's better NOW at PR/KR than Burnett is.
Madison...mmmm..he makes this squad EASILY cause he's the best gunner on special teams right now period! He's not so great at CB but thats not going to impact the Steelers THIS year so there you go.
Ratliff....he's the ONLY experienced corner we have after Taylor and Gay...*remember we moved Deshea to SAFETY* and he's better than the rookies or Roy Lewis at this time.
And there is no way we expose Lewis OR Burnett on the PS...not going to happen. LOCK IT DOWN!

Safety(4) Polamalu,Clark,Townsend,Carter
Yes we are STUCK once again with an experienced but slow safety with Carter but Mundy is not doing anything right now to make Carter seem expendable.

Special Teams
No brainer here: Warren,Reed, and Sepulveda
