A journalist by training and a graduate of the University of Kansas, Chip worked for more than 35 years as a senior corporate communications executive, as editor-in-chief of a leading trade publication serving the motion picture industry, as a daily news reporter and as an announcer in radio and TV. His real passion, however, is sports and, in particular Oklahoma Sooners sports. A Kansas City native, Chip has been an editor/contributing writer for SB Nation Kansas City and contributes regularly to Sooners Illustrated.
