Just throwing an idea out there... I know a lot of people have thrown around names like Cowher, Fisher, and Gruden, and I wouldn't really be disappointed if the Dolphins got one of them. He isnt mentioned that frequently, but I'd be interested in Mike Zimmer. He's been a pretty good Defensive Coordinator and I'd be interested to see what he could do if he got a shot as a Head Coach.

"As for the fact that you couldn't get that radio gig, I say fie on them. Are they too blind to see that you have a perfect face for radio?!"

I was reading through the comments on Armando's blog and this Armando bash really made my day.

An interesting perspective of Marshall in a real game situation.

He's certainly headed in the right direction for that to happen.

I'm not sure how valid that information is, but it still is interesting.

The Phinsider Unlikely but something that got me thinking.

We are all aware that this team is in need of a #1 receiver.  Some of the most commonly named possibilities are Marshall, Jackson, and Boldin.  While any of these receivers would contribute greatly on the field, the cost required to get them to Miami would be great.  It would require draft picks, which we all know Parcells loves.  However, he did concede that he would be open to the possibility of bringing in a receiver, but it must be an existing talent.

One name that is commonly overlooked (for good enough reason) is Marvin Harrison.  I am perfectly aware that the evidence against him looks bad, however no charges were ever filed against him.  He was released at his own request by the Colts, but has not yet retired from the NFL.  He was not signed by any team last season.

In a recent interview of Reggie Wayne I saw on SI, it was presumed that he still wanted to play.

Although I think it is highly unlikely that the Dolphins would go anywhere near him,  I still can't help but think that if they could persuade him to join, it would be a great deal.  He was a top notch receiver (hopefully not too rusty from the year off) that is not being looked at by any team and wouldn't cost draft picks.

This one seems like he would be even more willing to leave.

"Wilfork, who is the team's top free agent, said he could imagine himself playing for another team."

Opportunity? I hope so.
