Hi, I’m Chris Kober, a life long Ducks fan and aspiring hockey writer.
I have been a hockey fanatic since about the age of seven. The cornerstones of my hockey life were watching the original Mighty Ducks movie, the 1993 Stanley Cup Final between Wayne Gretzky’s LA Kings and Patrick Roy’s Montreal Canadiens, and the subsequent founding of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim just a hop skip and a jump away from home.
I wrote a blog at district5hockey.wordpress.com mostly containing my thoughts and views on those very Anaheim Ducks, trying to take as much as possible from the great John Buccigross and (by transitive property) the late, great Jack Falla.
I'm also was a contributor to Josh Brewster's Hockeytalk.biz and now an Associate Editor of SB Nation's own Anaheim Calling.
