Win Probability & Graphs

[Editor's note: This is something we're considering adding as a feature and wanted to get fan feedback on it to not only gauge interest, but also see if there are design changes you'd like to see....

Win Probability Graphs

Click Here SBNation won't allow an IP address as the link. Some of you may be familiar with win probability graphs. These have gained a fair bit of popularity with baseball and recently football but have not seemingly caught on with hockey or basketball. Follow the link for an alpha look at my attempt at win probability charts for the great sport of hockey. I would really appreciate any feedback whether positive or negative. Are win probability charts something you are even interested in? Do you like the basic presentation? Tested in the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, and IE. The interface is not particularly friendly at the moment. Select the season and the NHL ID# of the game you want to see and click the "Get Graph" button. Some recent NHL ID#s for Red Wings games. #20485 We beat the Oilers #20471 We crush the Kings #20457 So Nashville won at the last second. This chart is a bit depressing. #20440 We beat some team from Pittsburgh #20426 We crush the Jets Keep in mind this is a temporary server and things may be a bit slow. Once again any feedback is welcome especially suggestions for improvements.
