Crimson And Cream Machine Vote Griffin College POY!

To me there is no doubt Blake Griffin is the top player in the nation. The Sooners are on pace to be one of four teams playing for a national championship. Being a lifelong fan of Big Blue I have a soft spot for Jodie. Meeks has lifted a undermanned Kentucky team to some key wins and possible tournament berth (NIT), Curry is the media mid major darling, James Harden averages over 20 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists per game and plays 35 minutes, and DeJuan Blair has been consistent each game and came up big against No. 1 Connecticut on Monday. Blair is a great candidate but you hate to leave Young or Fields out of the voting...  College POY

A Sea Of Blue Meeks for College POY

Rocky Top Talk Chuck Oliver 680Fan

Brent Chuck Oliver and Matt Chernof in atlanta are reporting that there is a potential storm brewing with one of our assistant coaches and that he will be fired by spring practice. They say that they have sources, and that they might say something about it next week. Have you heard anything about this. Thanks in advance. Posted on Volquest.

I am getting rather tired of the daily hot mess we are involved in. I had friends in LA tell me this would be bad, they are starting to look correct.

ESPN tells us the UNC vs. Duke is the greatest college hoops rivalry of all-time. Okay, there are others that get their fanbases in crazy mode. Louisville vs. Kentucky, Missouri vs. Kansas.... I personally like some of the old Syracuse and Georgetown games. You make the call!

It seems as though recruitng season never ends. As we crank up for National Signing Day on the football side, let's not forget our hoops brethren and the remaining stars on the board. FanU brings you the big names on the Big Board. Big names like John Wall, Lance Stephenson, and Renardo Sidney are attracting plenty of coaches in gyms across the country. Renardo's Fairfax High School team was featured on ESPN last Friday.

Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician Big East Power Rankings

With the Big East season in full gear, I thought it was time to rank all 16 teams in the conference, from top to bottom. Just a note that this is who I think are the best teams in the league, in order – not necessarily who has the best records, or rankings.

I’ll probably do this every week, starting with this one.

1. Louisville Cardinals
Record – 14-3, 5-0 in Big East
Analysis – Call me a homer if you want, but the Cards are rolling right now. And they’re one of just two teams with a perfect record in league play. Wins over Pitt and Notre Dame at home and Villanova on the road show this team is for real.

Check it out!

Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician It's a Mindset

The Big East is a tough road, game after game. In hoops that is; much like the travels during the fall in the SEC. Last night a good Syracuse squad traveled to the home of former No. 1 team in the nation, Pittsburgh. Monday evening the Panthers played like the top team in the nation. They hardly resembled the team that was voted down in the rankings after last weeks loss in Louisville. Louisville is 4-0 in the Big East, but they have to travel to Syracuse to play in front of 30,000 screaming orange-clad fans in the Carrier Dome. The Dome is a true home court advantage.

As an outside observer, I say you have to forget quickly. As a team you’re going to come up short at times and... continued
