I'm surprised it has taken this long to happen.
Buccaneers sign Eric LeGrand (Former Rutger DT that had spinal cord injury)
Thought this was a very cool story that should be shared. Major kudos to the Buc's organization for doing this.
Some good news for a shitty week
Former Gator WR Robert Clark has made his decision to become a Louisville Cardinal. Robert and 4* TE Gerald Chrisitan visited Louisville earlier this month. They talked about wanting to play on the same team if possible. If this holds true this will be a great duo to have join the cardinals. With rumors of 2 maybe 3 4* LB commiting (Harvey-Clemons, Dawson, and Brown) in the near future, this recruiting class that is good could be great!
Gerald Christian was rated as one of the top 5 TE in the 2010 class.

PSU looking to name a new HC by Bowl Game, HCCS mentioned as a canidate.
Well let the fretting begin. I truly think HCCS wants to build this program, but I still get nervous.
Penn State's coaching search is shifting into high gear as the school looks to quickly move past the Joe Paterno era and select a new head coach to lead the team out of some of the program's darkest days.
School president Rod Erickson told the Associated Press on Wednesday that the school hoped to have a new coach in place by the time Penn State plays in a bowl game.
The 23rd-ranked Nittany Lions (9-3) lost last week to Wisconsin to end the regular season and should find out what game they will play in by Sunday night. CBSSports.com currently projects the team to go to the Meineke Car Care Bowl in Houston on New Year's Eve. With the ongoing child sex abuse scandal involving former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky, it is expected that the school slips behind several other Big Tenteams to a lower-tier bowl when committees hand out invites.
Paterno was fired after 46 seasons in early November in the wake of the Sandusky allegations. Longtime assistant coach Tom Bradley was named interim head coach but is not expected to be a leading candidate for the job.
However, a source told the Pittsburgh Post Gazette that Bradley would be in charge of the team through the bowl game and be granted an interview for the full-time position. The football staff has been on the road recruiting this week before returning to Happy Valley to begin preparations for the final game of the season.
Acting athletic director Dave Joyner, a former Penn State football player, is the leader of the six-person search committee to help select a new coach. Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen, Louisville head coach Charlie Strong and Virginia's Mike London have been mentioned as possible candidates.

Top rated punter Appleby picks UofL over UK
Joshua Appleby, an athletic, 6-foot-3, 230 lbs punter/kicker commited to Louisville today. Joshua also had strong interest from Florida, Alabama, and Texas (all said they would extend an offer if he visited their camps).
As a junior, Appleby booted 71 percent of his kickoffs into the endzone. He also made 6 of 9 field goals with a long of 44 yards, and averaged 35 yards on 18 punts, including a long of 52 yards.
Tim Fuller Leaving Louisville
It appears that Tim Fuller is leaving Louisville to is headed to Missouri to work for an old friend (Frank Haith). This one could be a big loss. He is the main reason Purvis is wanting to come to Louisville. Hopefully we can keep his 2012 recruits interested.

Another STRONG LB recruit
Wow didn't I just post a similar post a few days ago?
Strong picked up a commit from Eddie Johnson a LB from Atlanta. He was picked as one of the top 10 sleepers in the Tuscaloosa Nike camp. He was being recruited by Auburn, Miss. St., and UAB. A recruiting service in Alabama rated him as a top 20 prospect.
Jordan is 6-1 and runs a 4.6 forty. He made 78 tackels, 8 sacks and 1 interception his junior season. He also rushed for 560 yards and scored 8 td's.
Welcome aboard!
Another 4 Star 2010 Football Recruit
Demar Dorsey, a 6-1 - 178-pound safety from Lauderdale (FL), joined the Cardinals and strengthens HCCS 2010 recruiting class just a bit more. He originally committed to Michigan but was denied admission. No explanation was given on why his admission was denied (he had a 2.5 GPA and scored an 18 on his ACT) but believes it may be due to a burglary violation that he received when he was 16 (no jail time was served).
Demar Dorsey is an Underarmor All-American and was named a second-team All-American by USA Today and was ranked as the No. 75 player in Florida in the Orlando Sentinel's Top 100.
He was clocked running the 40 in 4.25 seconds and recorded 40 tackles and eight PBUs during his junior season. He was not told by the coaching staff whether he would be playing safety or cornerback.
Louisville assistant coach Richard Pitino is headed to Gainesville
According to Fox Sports' Jeff Goodman.
Louisville assistant coach Richard Pitino is headed to Gainesville to join Billy Donovan's staff at Florida.According to sources close to the situation, Pitino — the son of Louisville coach Rick Pitino — will leave his father's program.
The elder Pitino coached Donovan back at Providence.
An official announcement could come as early as Monday.
I'm a UL and a UF Fan (mostly lurk on AA). Anyways I didn't see a post about this and thought I would share. Little Rick is a great recruiter. I hope he does well to help bring Florida back up.

Anyone know where I can find a high def version of the AZ game?
I would like to add it to my dvd collection. This team was great, I'd like to remember them by the game that really showed their potential. Thanks.
yatta, yatta, yatta....Your FanPost must be at least 75 words long. Right now it's only 28 words long. If you just have a quote, link, video or photo you'd like to share with the community, try creating a FanShot instead. yatta, yatta, yatta...
This is exactly why....
Coach K said not to overlook a good (although its a stretch) Syracuse team. If our coach says the team is terrible the team will prepare and play like the team is terrible. The team came out flat for a team that they should not have underestimated. Yes Syracuse is not the best team, but they are a team that can did beat us.
Oh and that last play of the game was for sure pass interference. Impeding a receivers route is considered pass interference.
GO CARDS! I still love you even though you make me feel like shit sometimes.
Anyone notice in the new polls....
Louisville got 9 votes from the coaches to be in the top 25 and recieved 15 votes from the AP.
I didn't think I was going to see our name back in the top 25 mix for a while, before this season began. Big kudos to the team and coaching staff. You can really tell the team has alot of heart this year.
I'm going to try to keep myself emotionally stable, just incase, but please please cardbaby don't let this success stop.
GO CARDS!!!!
So what's your thoughts of the Kansas St. game?
Well without our fearless leader (Mike) able to log on to give us his review, I'm interested to hear how the rest of you feel about tonights game?
I guess I will start. I feel much better about this season. This was far from a perfect performance but I saw some very BRIGHT spots that could be our future. The way our offense clicked tonight compared to the UK game seemed night and day. Hunter seemed much more relaxed in the pocket and had more touch on the ball (as compared to throwing it as hard as possible on every throw).
Running Backs:
Do I really even need to go over this? I love Bolen's want to run over people. I saw multiple times when he was running down the sidelines and instead of stepping out to end the play, he would lower his shoulder and run the DB over for a few extra yards. I don't think I need to say much about Vic. He is a star in the making. His 2nd effort on every play makes me giggle like a school girl. Much like Morano at Georgia, Anderson fights and scraps and moves piles of linemen to get every extra inch of yardage.
Recievers/QB:
Looked much better tonight. Chichester missed some easy catches but we all knew that he was still becoming more coordinated. If he continues to improve at his current rate he will be a major factor in our arsenal. Doug B. also had an exceptional game. He reminds me of a Douglas how just slithers his way between coverages to get open. Hunter looked good most of the night. Much more comfortable and had more touch on his passes.
Offensive line:
Created great holes to run through. Big thumbs up to the guys who stepped it up to replace our injured starters. Great job.
Deffense:
90% of the game we looked dangerous. I truly believe now that English has changed this defense 360 degrees. Towards the end of the game it got sloppy and a few plays inbetween. We just need to keep getting better. I'd like to see some more sacks/knock downs of the QB but that will come. LB's look very good for being so inexperienced. They bite on a few plays that left either a reciever or TE open, but overall it was a good night.
Kicking game:
I don't even want to talk about this. I hate to rag on one of our players, but missing a PAT? Come on man. Your playing for a BCS team, there is no excuse for this.
Overall:
There is a chance I think. I'm not going to be putting any money down on it, but I think we saw a glimpse of what our team can be. Just keep building guys and who knows that can happen, the college football season has already been pretty crazy.
Fanbase:
Still piss poor. Way to many people leaving at the end of the 3rd quarter. If you didn't come to watch 4 quarters of football, keep your ass at home.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
So after our first real test (In my opinion), I'd like to hear what the others on here though about tonight's game? Still feel the same as you did leaving the Kentucky game? Bowl chances this year? How our team will end up in the Big East? Let's hear it.
Who is ready for football???
Man I am so ready, I just bought NCAA college football 08, and I am getting hyped!!! I don't even care that the cards most likely (hey never say never) won't be as good as two seasons ago. I'm ready to kick it with friends hours before the game, drinking some beer and playing some cornhole. I'm ready to sit at home or at a friends house on saturday nights (when the cards arent playing of course) and watch college football in high def. There is no sweeter time for me in the calendar year.
So who is with me? Who is ready for college football season?
Top College football entrances...
I was looking around and found this site with a top ten lineup of college entrances. I must say the hookies get really pumped. I wish our fans did something crazy like that. The energy gives me goose bumps...Anyways I'm getting hyped again for next year even though I know I shouldn't be. I just can't help it, I LOVE college football

Does anyone know the name of the song that we play right before the players come out of the building...You can hear it in this one...
English confirmed to go to UL...
Some good news after a hard b-ball loss today...
http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/story/10553500
WOOHOO!! I'm starting to see the boat finally start to upright again. Might not be championship contender next year but in the next couple years I can see us at the top of our game again.
Go Cards!!!
Mario Point shaving?!?!
Anyone else heard this rumor? I have heard it from a friend and have read about it on the internet. I have also heard the FBI is involved in the investigation. I really hope its not true but a couple things make me believe it might be. One being his total change in performance from last year to this year. And his turf toe that has been a problem for a few weeks now (many players fight turf toe but still play some).
Today game...
Well I don't have ESPNU but I did listen to the entire game on the radio. It sounds like our defense really buckled down this week. I know its not the toughest team we will play but any signs of improvement give me some hope. Maybe the move from coach K to open up pretty much all spots to anyone, maybe the players feel they need to play better? With the Scott Long starting instead of Mario, maybe they all feel like they need to start to protect there starting position? Whatever it is I hope we can keep it up.
So for those of you who watched, did it look like we were playing with some intensity?? After watching the USF/WV game, we need to really step up the intensity level.
On another note looks like USF might have a good chance at winning the Big E this year, especially with the fall of Rutgers today. Only time will tell. I'm just glad the Big E has so many teams in the top 25.
Go Cards.
Where do we go from here??
I for one have been on coach K's side through all this turmoil. After today though I just don't know what to think. I have never left a game early and today I did (waiting in line at the gas station after leaving there was a guy who has had season tickets for NINE years and never left early...today he did). I waited as long as possible (until the first INT late in the 3rd), I just could not watch any more (why should I bake in the sun if my team is not even going to play with heart)?
So do we get rid of all the coaches or do we just look into a new defensive coach? I know everyone is putting it all on coach K (being head coach he is accountable), but is it all his fault or partially the defensive coach? Do we get rid of one or both? I think coach K has done decent with the offense this season. Not much creativity but he has put up numbers. I will have to re-asses at the end of the year.
-If we get rid of coach K, who do we pick up?
-I think the booing from the fans is just ridiculous. Booing people always makes people play better (sarcasm). Not much more needed to say about that.
-Listening to the after game it sounds like coach K is actually yelling at players now, especially DB's asking them "what the @#$% kind of coverage was that?"
-Harry Douglas and Brain Brohm for president. I feel sorry for both of them for having to end there seasons like this.
-Mario will be back next year. Half assing routes. If I was head coach I would bench his ass and let someone play who will give it 100%. Mario is so talented it sad the way he is playing.
Yes our secondary is weak but when a QB has 10-15 seconds to throw then someone will become open 9 times out of ten. No pressure plus inexperienced DB's = Not good as we found out today.
And my last question...Why is anyone trying to run the ball on us? Why not just throw down the middle all day, its almost guaranteed?
Ok thats enough for now. I'm so disoriented from it all I really don't know what to say. It feels almost sureal.
