This is my first FanPost, so bear with me if I screw something up.

Tonight Real Salt Lake beat the LA Galaxy in the MLS Cup Final on penalty kicks.  This gave the state of Utah their very first championship.  Real Salt Lake happens to be owned by our very own Dave Checketts.  So I guess congratulations are in order to Mr. Checketts on winning a pro sports championship, hopefully he'll be celebrating another one in St. Louis in the near future.

For the record, I'm a Galaxy supporter (huge Cobi Jones fan, not a bandwagon Beckham fan), so I'm not very happy about the whole thing, but I guess this made it a bit easier.
