Who's going to game 1?
whos goin? I got my ticket! hella excited. sitting in row three. just wondering if anyone else will be there with me!
Im feeling good about this team
Our record is pretty bad, but there is obvious improvement. Simply, the team knows who they are now. First option is Griffin, second Gordon, then maybe Kaman once he is healthy and BD. And with both Griffin and Gordon playing at their current level, we will have a chance to win every night. I cant imagine the Clippers losing to another under .500 team this year. Of course, I'm sure it will happen, but the team seams much improved now that BD and Kaman are back. I know all of this is obvious, but just wanted to put my sense into it
No charges for Mike Smith
Just thought you should know
Lumpkin activated, not Huggins
I'm not sure why huggins isn't being activated, because he had high hopes after the preseason. But lets hope Lumpkin can carry some of the load.
Thibodeau frontrunner for Hornets job
So much for that
Just another FA scenario
I know everyone has their own ideas, but it never gets old to speculate. If we dont get lebron, then we have to spend our money to make our team better. Yea, we have a hole at the SF position. But we also have others at the backup PG and backup SG. A good bench is just as important to have a playoff team. I was looking through the FA list to see who would fit our team well, and I picked out a few names that can help us:
Roger Mason
J.J. Reddick
Tracy McGrady( A little out there, but still)
Livingston
I was just checking the box score of the Wizards vs Hornets game to see how Thornton had been doing (he didnt even play) and I saw Livingston started for the Wizards at PG. Maybe im late on this, but he had a pretty good game. Im just happy to see him succeeding, even for one game. But I assume that if he is starting then he must be doing something right in his playing time. He played 37 Min. 8-10 FG for 18 points, and 8 assists.

10-0 when Cadillac gets 22 or more
I was reading on NFL.com that the bucs are 10-0 when Cadillac carries the ball twenty two times or more. I just thought that was interesting. And now I have to try to get to the word limit so I can post this on here. I think our game plan this weekend should be cadillac. Any thoughts? do you guys like him more or ward? man, i cant get to seventy f words yet.
No mention of Clipper Nation?
http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news;_ylt=Aqeauc6vhGb4hO3CQltybapDubYF?slug=ys-forbeslosingteams052509&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
the article pretty much slaps all clipper fans in the face. They name two clipper fan sites that have one or less people in it, but never mention this blog. Its like they forget to put it on purpose. Isnt there something we can do? this stuff just annoys the hell out of me. People need new teams to talk about. Thye also call all our fans insane, pretty much.
Eric Gordon put on the secondteam all-rookie?
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=thorpe_david&page=Rookies-090408
There is the link to the ESPN column that has Eric Gordon not even close to the other Rookies. Apparently we are seeing things that are not real, like what he did to kobe, and when he showed up Durant with 41 points. It is so frustrating to me. I'm sure it is to you guys too. He deserves better. All writers pretty much describe what he does as lower then how he actually plays. He isn't even on the defensive rookie team.

PETITION TO START JOSH JOHNSON!!!
The buccaneers need to start in a new direction. They already got rid of Gruden, Brooks, and Dunn, so they need to completely change. I think Josh Johnson is the answer. He is young, agile, fast, quick, has a great arm, and has a chance to grow up with this team. We have seen Luke play before, and he is an average qb. What we need is someone young and energetic who will make the dirty and tough plays at the end of the game.
I really wish JOhnson would get more attention during practices, and I hope the coach puts him in. Anyone else feel the same?
Sam Cassell
Does anyone else miss how Sam Cassell used to run this team? He was a true leader for the Clippers. Baron Davis doesn't seem to have the same attitude as Cassell did. Not only his attitude, but his production is not even close. The Clippers could have relied on Cassell for a big scoring night if they needed one, but Davis hasn't been able to do that this year.
Either way.. Go clippers
