OK last night the wife made me miss half the game because she needed help with something  so being the good husband that I am I did what she needed me to do (Play FFXIV for those wondering or have a "dirty mind").....Anyways I had the game recording on DVR but for some reason DVR conked out on me and miss the first half of the game (the part I had not seen).....

So I am wondering if anyone has a copy of the game that can get a hold of so I can add it to my 2010 collection of Bears games........I can reimburse a expense to get the game to me as well....So long as its not ridiculous (like Devin Hester)......Anyone that can help a fellow Bears fan out can email me with the details.....

Welp it has happened......The Bears will hire Tim Ruskell expected to be announced with in the next 48 hours according to PFT:

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Ruskell has agreed to become the Bears' director of player personnel, and the deal is expected to be announced in the next 48 hours.

Guess we will see what will happen with peppers....but I dunno guess bad....Only cause the Bears have been botching up everything anyways....

Edit: Bears TO hire Ruskell....sounds less confusing I think/hope....

NFL Network has now picked up the story of Perry Fewell being the Bears (read Lovies) choice for DC....Jeff Dickerson, John Mullin, and Mike Mulligan have also said that their sources indicate that Fewell will be the future DC as well....However the Giants will also interview Fewell for their DC position per PFT....

And just now on the NFL Access on NFL Network,  Perry Fewell is pretty much a lock for the DC and Jermey Bates is the front runner for OC with Weis most likely going to KC.

The McCaskey's took out a full page ad thanking the fans in the Chicago Sun Times this morning.....In the bottom of the ad it states that the Chicago Bears remain committed to winning and bringing a Super Bowl title back to Chicago....That is their TOP PRIORITY.....

Tried to find the ad but to no luck....

The score guys have been ripping on the ad all morning pretty much given that is almost a guarantee that Lovie is back for 2010.....

Based on what I'm hearing, I would say it's 80 percent certain.

The Bears are likely to make the announcement about retaining Smith early in the week, maybe even Monday. Ron Turner will be sacrificed. The Bears will hire a new offensive coordinator and probably add a defensive coordinator to the mix.

Also John Mullin said on CTL on tues that the minny game most likely saved Lovies Smith job and he will be back barring an horrific performance against the lowly lions starting culpepper...

So yeah.....barring a miracle for some people, looks like Smith will be back in 10....

Be interesting who they have pegged not only for OC (I would have to imagine Cutler BEGGING them to bring in Jermey Bates or heimerdinger should the titans clean house like PFT hinted at earlier in the month) but who they have targeted for DC.....

According to a Brad Biggs tweet Marcus Harrison will be placed on the Non Football Injury List tomorrow as he is overweight.

According to the Trib Harrison is at 323 lbs and the Bears want him down to 309. In that same Trib article Harrison admits to going through some personal issues and vows to get into playing shape. The current plan is to start Harrison at NT next to Harris with Anthony Adams #2 and Dusty Dvoracek listed as 3 on the depth chart.

There is already panic and calling out Harrison on the offish forums but eh what ever......
