Franks Begging To Go
I always thought Frank Martin was a loyal member of the Kansas State basketball program but after the comments that have come out in a recent interview, that’s just not the case. While I wasn’t against his hiring 3 years ago, there was plenty of deserved mumbling that took place concerning a guy who wasn’t qualified for that role quite yet. I would have thought that getting the opportunity to be a big time head coach along with being showered with praise and love by a city and university would have been enough to bring some loyalty but I guess you only come across a Bill Snyder once in a lifetime. Continue reading to see what Frank said that shows he sure as heck doesn’t bleed purple.

Casting KU
In honor of hate week, I think it's time to make fun of that school to the east. Last Sunflower Showdown I noticed some of the KU players eerily resemble famous actors and got thinking about who would be cast as the main characters if a movie about KU was made. Of course KU would get the infamous Michael Moore to direct the whole thing, but here's a list of the rest of the players.

Hali as valuable to the Chiefs as Polamalu is to the Steelers
Good old Steve Young was giving quite the love to Tamba Hali on Sportscenter today.
Return of the Lynch Mob
After watching today’s game and becoming more frustrated with what’s going on with the Kansas State defensive unit, I decided to make my case for ridding ourselves of Chris Cosh. It’s clearly time for a change at the top of the defensive pyramid.

Royals #26 in latest MLB power rankings
I think they figured us out....Here's the description:
"Sure,Juan Cruzwas terrible, but willBruce Chenbe any better? Cruz, who signed a two-year, $6 million contract before the 2009 season, had allowed opponents to bat .391 against him in 5 1/3 innings, but he would still seem to have more upside -- and more guaranteed money due him -- than either Chen orBrad Thompson, the other reliever the Royals promoted."

Going to the SLC?
Seeing as we are the closest School to Salt Lake City geographically in our regional I sure as heck hope to see plenty of purple lining the streets of Salt Lake City. (I'm headed from Los Angeles and meeting my Dad who's traveling from Colorado and my brother who's coming in from Wichita so thats at least three!). I have actually been to SLC quite a bit and thought we should open a post for helpful information for any of you heading there so if you have any insights to add to what I can provide, share and hopefully we can make the trip easier for every Wildcat! Get the info after the jump...
Arthur Brown is ours now

I'm sure some people are thinking so what, he didn't do anything at Miami blah blah blah. But anytime you infuse raw talent with Snyder magic you get results and that's something we need at this moment. I know the focus is on our Sunflower Showdown right now and I hope with everything in my body we kill KU on their ode to Collins night, but this can just be a little added fuel to the burning Kansas State fire!
A little football love
A few things that have happened over the past couple days in the realm of BSFS that I noticed didn't get much love...
Cats Mad Media Props!
Just thought we should have a forum to post all the places K-State is getting mentioned today. Besides the constant highlights from Sportscenter, Around The Horn just opened the show discussing not only K-State's win over Texas, but also the "classy" fans who where smart enough to not rush the court showing we expect to beat good teams as well as Frank Martin and his great coaching. One of the guys also mentioned that he feels Curtis Kelly should be a POY candidate. Share some links to the Wildcat love fest!!
Calling all SoCal Cats!
I'm looking for Southern California Wildcats fans! I've been living just north of LA in Santa Clarita for 6 years now and, this being my final year of grad school, finally have the time to see if we can get some K-State watch parties going. I checked on the alumni website and the only official Catbacker clubs that had been in the SoCal area have become defunct. I looked into starting one up to be listed on the alumni site but they want my money to do so and personally I might have to commit suicide if I thought some of my cash would eventually end up in Prince's pocket. If you live in Southern California, or know people interested in gathering on Saturday's when it is possible to watch K-State for a watch party, comment and leave an email address so I can try to get things moving for this coming football season.
Right along with that is our responsibility as KState fans to gather at the Rose Bowl on September 12th to turn the Rose Bowl Purple! I am planning on attending the game along with some of my brothers who will be flying out but I have no idea what section ot buy tickets in that will put us with other KState fans. I would rather sit in the nose bleeds with tons of purple than first row amongst that nasty baby blue crap! If you have any insight as to where the visitors section of the Rose Bowl is please let me know.
Go Cats!
