Just heard from my hoopster buddy that Baron and KG didn't show up at Mike Bibby's camp in Sacramento today (they were scheduled to be there on the first day). here's a link to the camp:
http://www.mikebibby.com/campupdates.htm
The juicier news is that KG and Boom Dizzle have been spotted hanging out in Oakland (this past weekend)!! Pure speculation on my part, but guys often like to hangout and play together in the summer when they have never played together before (and are about to).

Has anyone else in the GSoM community seen KG in Oakland? I really trust my source and I hope this is something that is real (KG in the town!!)

holla!

====================

[editor's note, by OptionZero] If possible guys, let's keep it about KG sightings in the Bay Area, rather than a "should we" or "can we" argument.

They were joined by former players Adrian Dantley and Richie Guerin; coaches Roy Williams, Eddie Sutton and Bob Hurley, Sr.; owner Bill Davidson; and the 1966 Texas Western NCAA championship team.
Referee Mendy Rudolph, Yugoslavian coach Mirko Novosel, Spanish coach Pedro Ferrandiz and former U.S. women's basketball coaches Van Chancellor and Harley Redin also were selected by the four screening committees that nominate finalists."

I'm not worried about S. Jax's "issues"

I read the same concerns about Milton Bradley when he came to the A's. I think the two have similar "blowup" issues.

Some may think -that playing in Oakland- will exacerbate a guys problems ... but maybe not.

Indianapolis couldn't be more opposite than Oakland. Maybe being a city like Oakland will have the effect on Stephen Jax as my main man Milton!

I was one of the bitter folks who wanted the Warriors to be the "Oakland Warriors".

But now that my beloved A's are divorcing me ;-( ... I will always Golden State with pride.

Fremont is a toxic waste dump.

We are lucky to have a first rate basketball team. With a first rate Coach and first rate General Manager in Nelson and Mully. We play in a real cosmopolitan city with a real downtown, and real (knowledgeable) basketball fans.

The Oracle is a "great time out".

holla Warrior fans ... holla!

Meanwhile, Golden State appears to have received yet another lifeline in its pursuit of Al Harrington. The Hawks' forward is still on the market, despite switching agents from Andy Miller to Arn Tellem, after a sign-and-trade deal between Atlanta and Indiana reportedly was nixed by Pacers ownership.

According to two league sources, the Warriors have revived discussions with three teams on a multiple-player swap, with the principal parts involving Mike Dunleavy Jr. going to the Clippers, Corey Maggette to Denver and Joe Smith to Atlanta, with the Warriors getting Harrington.

Though it would be a thorny transaction to meet salary-cap requirements, Tellem represents both Harrington and Dunleavy. A similar multi-team deal was discussed in Las Vegas during the summer league, according to one of the sources.

Another potential snag, however, appears to be the status of Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy Sr., a main proponent of the team's interest in Dunleavy Jr.. The coach is entering the final year of his contract and would like an extension after guiding his team to the Western Conference semifinals."
