http://www.sbnation.com/users/CoachT Posts made by CoachT on SB Nation http://www.doubletnation.com/2008/10/28/648259/just-a-flea-on-a-dog-s-but CoachT Tue, 28 Oct 2008 13:52:36 -0000 <p>I was driving home in the wonderful Austin traffic and listening to 1300AM "The Zone" sports show.&nbsp; It is a full time UT centered radio station.&nbsp; The topic was how supremely excellent UT was and how Tech was a fraud.&nbsp; Of the four hosts, one in particular kept referring to "trashcan" teams, like Missouri and Tech.&nbsp; He did mention the trouble we had with Nebraska and TAM, but failed to mention TAM has beaten UT two years in a row, last year in Austin!&nbsp; But they're still a trashcan team.&nbsp; When one of the other hosts commented that Tech has a better defense, this guy replied that it was good enough for Tech but that Tech still didn't have a defense.&nbsp; It was mentioned that we had established a running game, and this same host totally discounted it and went on about how it will be totally shut down by UTs defense.&nbsp; The arrogant tirade continued until the Kansas game came up.&nbsp; One host commented on how well we did against them.&nbsp; The second host started off by laughing at the thought of Tech being a "big dog" program- apparently only UT is that.&nbsp; He then went on to say that Tech is just a flee on a dogs ass and sometimes the big dog has to scratch it, but now Tech is a tick on a dogs ass.&nbsp;</p> <p>That pretty much summarizes the attitude that this fanbase has toward our team, school and fans.&nbsp; I hope our guys are listening to this kind of garbage and get angry.&nbsp; The only way for us to correct this arrogant UT attitude is&nbsp;with extreme pain.&nbsp;</p> <p>Hey Darcel, you're a flea on a dogs ass.&nbsp; Hey Duncan, you are too.&nbsp; Mankind, you're just a tick.&nbsp; Harrell, Crabtree, all of you are just an infestation of parasites and frauds on the big dog UT Longhorns...</p> http://www.doubletnation.com/2008/1/15/17183/5513 CoachT Tue, 15 Jan 2008 22:18:03 -0000 <p>I haven't posted in a while but there was some news down here in Austin that got me thinking. &nbsp;For a long time most of us on this site have complained about defense, and justifiably so. &nbsp;<br /> I heard on the news that Mack Brown has hired a DC from Auburn(?). &nbsp;What's up with that? &nbsp;He has Duane Akina but still goes out and hires another DC? &nbsp;We can't seem to attract a DC to Tech but Mack can get two? &nbsp;</p><p>Please help me understand this one...</p>
