What reason would the Vikings possibly have to not go after Jay Cutler harder than they've gone after any other player in the past 4 or 5 years? They need a quarterback. We know that. They Know that. Everyone knows that. Jay Cutler is a franchise quarterback that I strongly believe could be pulled away from Denver for a decent player and a first round pick. Why dont the Vikings pursue Cutler more seriously?

JUST, DRAFT, A, QUARTERBACK. You may need help in other areas, and obviously AP was a different situation, but in 2009 there is absolutely no excuse to draft a QB with our first pick. NONE. You need a QB to win, Gus Ferrote, t-jack, and John David Booty just arent Super Bowl quality quarterbacks, sorry to break it to anyone.
