Why don't the Twins make this trade for Kouzmanoff happen by packaging one or two more prospects along with Glen Perkins, then we'd be set at third base with a solid player. But the reason is not neccesarily the best player out there, but this would allow us to Trade Valencia and Casilla/Liriano/ Swarzak for Dan Uggla. The Marlins need a third baseman and they would accept that trade in a heartbeat. We still don't know what Valencia will bring to the table and he's already gonna be 25.Kouz also brings gold glove caliber to third so there's no concern there. Kouzmanoff is going to be 28 and if we were to lock him up and bring in Uggla we would have arguably the deepest lineup in the A.L. if not all of baseball. Just a thought and it sounds realistic if Bill Smith actually tried to make it happen and not just let it cross his mind. let me know what you think
