FGCU Eagles vs. USF Bulls: Preview and GameThread

USF Football 2013 Group Therapy Word Cloud

The above was created from the comments on this post. I'm sure we can all find a bit of ourselves from the last football season in there. But here's something I liked even more. From our own Brian...

USF Football 2013 Season Group Therapy Sharing

It's over. You survived. But the trauma can last a very long time. The American Psychological Association has a web page talking about the effects of psychotherapy on patients. It reads as...

USF vs. Rutgers Game Thread

If you're in Tampa, you should go to the basketball game... but if you're somewhere else, feel free to talk about the football game here. Who: USF (2-9, 2-5 AAC) vs. Rutgers (5-6, 2-5 AAC) What:...

USF vs. George Mason Haiku. 18-0 Run For The Win!!

Erin Fairs Named AAC Player of The Year

Our totally being in the tank for USF Volleyball is so cool sometimes, and today is one of those days we love. Sophomore Erin Fairs was named AAC Player of The Year today, the first conference MVP...

Erin Fairs AAC Player of The Year, Andrea Rodriguez-Gomez First Team All-AAC

Our totally being in the tank for USF Volleyball is so cool sometimes, and today is one of those days we love. Sophomore Erin Fairs was named AAC Player of The Year today, the first conference MVP for the Bulls since Michelle Collier in 2002. Fairs came on our radio show earlier this season and talked about wanting to win this award, and her incredible improvement from freshman to sophomore year was rewarded with the nod. What separated her from the competition is the ability to be so effective in all six rotations, averaging a ridiculous-for-an-outside-hitter 4.41 digs per set as well as 3.73 kills. Did we mention she's just a sophomore?? Are you kidding?? Her ceiling is to be one of the best players in USF history, and it'll be fun to watch her climb the lists. Also a big congrats to Andrea Rodriguez-Gomez, who caps off her career with a First Team All-AAC nod. 'Dre was one of our favorite kids ever, and her smile is so bright the university put it on a billboard. The story of her family's journey to America after being political refugees from Chavez's Venezuela is amazing, and they should be incredibly proud of her both on and off the floor. She leaves USF after averaging 1.53 blocks per set and hitting .294 her senior year. Dre's engaged and moving back to Miami, and we'll miss her general goofy-ditziness in The Corral. She was the rare kid that could light up a room and a scoreboard, and it's been so much fun to watch her grow. She was also the only senior on this USF team, one that inked five kids on early signing day. The future looks bright for a team should be picked at or near the top of the league in 2014.

Basketball Notes: Men Shown No Mercy, Inga Surgery

A few basketball notes we couldn't get to until now due to severe back pain and C. Florida trolls surrounding us: One is that women's hoops leading scorer from last season, senior Inga Orekhova,...

25 Great Reasons To Despise UCF

Sorry we cut this so short, but the internet ran out of room.

#5 Oklahoma State 93 USF 67. Marcus Bleepin' Smart

Quite simply, the Bulls got their doors blown off by a superior basketball team. OKSU is #5 for a reason, and when they shoot 33-66 from the floor and 9-16 from three, it's going to be a long...

USF vs. Oklahoma State Preview: Get Smart

We're putting a 24-hour hold on C. Florida Week to bring you an important message: There's a really, really big basketball game tonight, and if you're in town you should be there. USF takes on #7...

SMU vs. USF What If They Gave A Game & Nobody Came

Paraphrasing a USF staffer from last week's game: If a USF player scores a touchdown, but no one is there to see it, does it really count? I can't think of a USF game I've been less excited to...

USF 72, Stetson 63. Ugly Win, On To Oklahoma State

Anthony Collins entered the starting lineup for the first time this season, but USF needed a big performance from Corey Allen Jr. to pull out a 72-63 victory over Stetson at the Sun Dome. "We were...

Bulls vs. Stetson Men's Basketball Preview

Tonight USF takes on Stetson at 7pm in the Sun Dome. Theoretically this should be a warmup before getting Marcus Smart and #8 Oklahoma State at home on Monday, so consider this the last game of the...

GameThread: Memphis Tigers at USF Bulls

USF 75, Bowling Green 61. The Bandwagon Is Open

USF vs. Bowling Green Preview. Is AC Gonna Play?

We really wanted to do a Four Factors preview, but with the embedded chart there's only one team on there. That's because Bowling Green hasn't played a D1 game yet... they rolled something named...

USF 91, Bethune Cookman 65. Corey Allen, Y'all!!

USF beat a simply horrendous BCU team last night, but didn't exactly look sharp while doing so. This wasn't Kansas-Duke that's for sure, and there's still issues for a team trying to find their...

USF vs. Memphis Preview: We're Winning This Game

Can't find a Memphis blog as of yet, but we'll do the best preview of the Tigers that we can here. And we start with this: Memphis is not good at football. So far they've played Duke, Middle...

USF Women's Basketball: Split With Maryland, CCSU

Women's basketball might be the most successful team on campus for the Bulls in 2013-14, and this weekend showed that the talent is clearly there but like all teams they'll still need to get...

USF 72, Tenn Tech 62. A Work In Progress
