A few things...

Is Marvin becoming irrelevant? NO!

"I guess I'm Marv now," Reggie Wayne said last weekend.

Win now mentality? OF COURSE!

Vince Young, the Role Model

"My teammates helped lift me out of it. I prayed really hard. And I began to focus on God's calling for me. Play football. Be a role model."

"I have a stronger circle," Young told the Web site.

You mean like drinking out of a tequila bottle and then apologizing for getting photographed, not the multi-party weekends? Seems like a role model to me. Oh, stronger inner circle? Let me guess, shirts were not allowed at the party so you can show just how 'strong' your inner circle is.

Vince Young Strikes New Deal with Patron Tequila

http://www.tmz.com/2008/05/16/vince-young-quarterback-gone-wild/

Looks like the Tennessee Titan locker room can't quench Vince Young's need to hang out with a bunch of sweaty, half-naked dudes.

Pictures posted on Blogxilla show the shirtless quarterback partying hard a few days ago at a bar in the Lone Star State -- surrounded by a bunch of Texas longhorns. Not talkin' bout the college, people.

A spokesperson for the Titans had "no comment."

any updates on marvin situation?

or is this thing just going to blow over? my guess is that he is charged with a misdemeanor (sp?) because his gun was involved. however, they will not be able to prove if he was or was not the shooter. maybe it just blows over all together. thoughts?

marvin would never be that stupid would he? marvin would never be that stupid would he? marvin would never be that stupid would he? marvin would never be that stupid would he?

Wow Florio...we have NEVER seen that!

http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/04/29/manning-goes-bonkos/#comment-22052

Not only is this old news, but I love how people think this is how Manning treats his line. Tommy Brady has never yelled at his line. Does anyone have a clip of him yelling, throwing gatorade during the beatdown in 2005?

Marcus Pollard signs with pats

Sad to see such a good guy go there and possibly finish his career. I am sure the Pats feel the same about AV, who will/has made more of an impact for us than Pollard will for them. Also, looks like Peyton's magnet Ty Law is headed back to the pats.

GO HORSE!

Can we stop talking about that team from...

the Northeast on this blog? I want to revert back to earlier in the season when it was a banned topic until we played them. Let's focus on our team and what we need to do to still be playing at this time next year. Who cares what a player did? Or who is injured? This is a COLTS blog. It's bad enough that there are so many Team * trolls on the Indy Star Message Board. We can eliminate talk about them and still have fun with the resident Cowgirl troll Terry.

Mathis and Bethea updates?

I was traveling Sunday night so I missed the game. Heard and read that Mathis and Bethea both went out with knee injuries and were scheduled to have MRI's Monday. Has there been any updates on this? I will keep typing so I can fill up the minimum. Did the injuries look bad? Hopefully they just need a little rest the next few games and get a few series in before the playoffs.

Thanks!

no MORE head

Aaron Moorehead's season is over. The Indianapolis Colts placed their veteran wide receiver on the injured reserve list with a back injury.

Moorehead, who's been a backup receiver since signing as an undrafted rookie in 2003, has been bothered by an unspecified back ailment much of the season. That situation was exacerbated in Sunday's win over Kansas City when he was hit in the back while attempting to catch a high pass from quarterback Peyton Manning.
