If I'm GMZ I think I have to sign off on the rumored Aaron Hicks and Wilson Ramos for Cliff Lee deal!  I don't believe the Mariners will be able to land a better minor league prospect package than Hicks and Ramos.  Now whether an Ike Davis or a Justin Smoak is available is another story.  But if I'm GMZ I need to take this deal down!  Thoughts on what the Mariners should do?

This Coutlangus kid (actually he's 26) looks like he can deal.  I'm watching him throw vs. the Cubs this afternoon.  John gave him a C and mentioned he'd be a useful spare part in the bullpen.  I'm thinking he looks more like a LH specialist.  He had a .185 BAA in 63 innings for AA last year.  5.7 H9 - Anybody have any history on him and why the Giants gave up on him?  His numbers suggest there may be some wildness and age wasn't on his side.  Just curious.      

With Taylor Buchholz getting sent down the other day is Hirsh a lock to get called up?  Is this his last start at AAA Round Rock tonight?  Has anyone heard who the Astros plan on filling out the rotation with?  I didn't see anything in the Houston Chronicle and was curious if the Astros plan on starting his clock.  I believe he's already 24 so I don't see what they're waiting for.  Perhaps tonight is his last tune-up.
