Who cares about Bogut? Curry & Lee best combo in NBA!
Warriors need mascot! Where is THUNDER now?
Forget about the Rookie Ladder nonsense! Barnes is the #1 ultimate NBA Rookie this year!!!
At 2-2 the Warriors NEED to PLAY Tyler!!! Green is a non factor.
Curry to Landry... Is this the perfect match or what?
HB possible rook of year? Is he really that quick and agile live as he looks on the videos?
Festus should start & Bogut off the bench!!!
Drummond continues to look awesome in preseason.
Will Beans be healthy by opening day? Will his groin injury prevent him from partaking in pregame warmups?
Did Beans really injure his groin racing his speedboat in the offseason? Does he have any trade value? Is he now fourth on the depth chart behind Bogut, Ezeli, and Tyler?
Bazemore steal of the draft? I like this guy.... Odds against him and he tore up summer league... He is going to rock the NBA!
Jeremy Tyler — For second round or unsigned players, NBA success is a matter of seizing opportunities. Tyler has been handed a golden one this off-season, with the Warriors potentially deciding that signing a veteran back-up power forward is too rich for their blood. If they enter the season without a clear back-up for David Lee, those minutes will be Tyler’s to lose. He was well on his way to doing exactly that after a slow start to the summer league, but he finally showed some urgency and aggressiveness against the Heat. He got himself going with a nice open-court steal and thunderous breakaway dunk, then never looked back as he scored off a variety of basket-facing moves. He’s definitely not a traditional center, given his lack of size and strength, and he’s still figuring out a lot of power forward skills, like rebound positioning and rotating into the key to cut-off penetration. But when he’s engaged, he shows flashes of being a dependable post scorer. It’s been ages since the Warriors have had one of those, so Tyler likely will get a chance to show what he can do this season, even if his focus and intensity fluctuate at frustratingly unpredictable intervals.http://blogs.mercurynews.com/warriors/2012/07/19/summer-league-week-one-cautious-wary-optimism/
AR totally shreds summer league 2009... Is it time for him to rip up the winter league? He could be a monster off the bench and would fit with our high IQ players... We need a freak off the bench... The future is NOW...
New Jack City!!! Looks like the Warriors FO get an A+ on this acquistion... Is this just what they needed to blend with the shooters? Jack is BACK!!!
Are the Warriors still pursuing J.J. Hickson?
Bayless is now an unrestricted free agent. He has point guard and shooting guard skills. He is a potential Monta Ellis that has better passing skills. (plays with intensity) Possibly more explosive than Monta. Could be a PG/SG back up?
Could Dray Green beocome the next Sir Charles Barkley? Dray is a full inch 6'6" vs. 6'7" taller than Charles and had similar if not better college stats. Further, Dray appears to have a high basketball IQ and the same burning intensity that you see if few atheletes such as Barkley. Will he be the next All Star PF for the Warriors?
Pistons sign 7 foot 24 year old Ukranian beast. Center to work alongside Drummond in a back up role. Pistons got the steal of the Draft in Drummond and now find a beast in Ukraine. Interesting to see how these players develop as Drummond could be a dominant force in the NBA for several years...
Will Warriors give Jet Chang a chance in Summer league?
Basketball IQ: He knows how to score and will put the ball in the basket like it’s his job, because it essentially is. Very confident in his abilities and is fearless attacking the basket. However, he needs the ball in his hands to leave his mark in the game because he can’t do much of anything else at an NBA level without it. Doesn’t cut to the basket or try to get open often, rather hovers around the 3-point arc and waits for the ball to come to him. Has an edge of toughness about him and his demeanor, but also some attitude. Had a super efficient sophomore year with an impressive 26.3 PER and showed his potential playing just a little over half of each game. Expressive and emotional on the floor who can fire up his team or drape his head if things aren’t going well, but he’s a competitor. Had issues with being in shape and the Syracuse coaching staff, which will raise questions about his character, but seemed to have put those differences behind him as a sophomore. In the flow of a game, he can be an explosive scorer who will put up points in spurts. Is Waiters the 7th pick for the Warriors? Is he the next Dwyane Wade:? http://swishscout.com/?page_id=8523
"Andre Drummond, Fr., Connecticut Combine measurements: Height: 6' 11.75'' (with shoes), Weight: 278.6, Wingspan: 7' 6.25'', Standing reach: 9' 1.5'' Basic stats: 10 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 2.7 bpg, .538 FG%, .295 FT% Synergy stats of note: Offense: Post-ups: .578 points per possessions (16th percentile) Defense: Post-ups: .422 ppp (96th percentile) Jason’s take: Look up the definition of "upside" in this year’s edition of the NBA Draft dictionary and you’re very likely to see a picture of Andre Drummond right next to the word. The Connecticut center is a physical freak, drawing comparisons to Dwight Howard due to his ridiculous combination of size, strength and explosive athleticism. Of course, there is a big difference between being an elite athlete and an elite basketball player and the latter is what Drummond must now concern himself with, just as Howard did when similar concerns were raised about him on draft day. The tools are all there. And the greatest reason for optimism to date lies in the fact that Drummond wasted little time becoming an interior defensive force; just check out his super Synergy stats when defending post-ups. To be sure, Drummond’s offensive game needs significant work and polish, but the same can be said for nearly every big man at the beginning of his NBA career. The key to his future success will be determined by the way he answers the two questions that stand between every supremely gifted player and superstardom: How badly does he want to be great and how hard is he willing to work to make it happen?"Warriors can't pass on potential SUPERSTAR BEAST Drummond if available at 7 or can they? http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/nba-draft-preview-part-i-centers
Leonard Invited to ESPN draft lottery today. Leonard's draft value is rising by the day. Is he going to be a top 10 pick? Possible 7 to Warriors? Not one mock has him going to Golden State. Is he still on the Warriors board?
Greatest Warrior ever! Early highlights of Wilt the Stilt. Get inspired....WE need to bring back the Warriors big men and Draft either Drummond or Leonard at 7...
7. Golden State Warriors: Andre Drummond, C (UConn) Golden State GM Bob Myers has a tough choice ahead of him. His team holds four draft picks, and he must set the tone with a smart pick at No. 7. The Warriors are very close to being a playoff-caliber team. They need one more piece in their frontcourt, and they need an elite wing player. Both of these needs will be available here, but I like Drummond to come off the board. Drummond is an outstanding athlete. He's an intimidating defender, and he shows flashes on the offensive end. The only real question is his desire, but that could change with maturity. When Drummond's freshman season is criticized, you have to keep in mind that he played college ball as a 17-year-old. He oozes upside, and he has a ton of room to grow. The Warriors would benefit from adding Drummond to their open-floor attack. He would provide solid depth behind Andrew Bogut until he's ready to start. Golden State could also consider Terrence Jones or Perry Jones III with this pick. Their presence on the wing would be an upgrade over Dorell Wright, but Drummond, based on potential, could be the best player in the draftLatest Mocks have Drummond going to Warriors at 7 Could he fall that far? Is the negative hype due to him being a 17 year old playing college ball when he should have been a senior in high school? Does the media hype give the Warriors the chance to draft a franchise player? IF the Warriors draft Drummond and he is an All Star and Bogut is healthy, then the Ellis trade will go down as one of the best trades in history.
Could the Kings take Henson at 5? He crushed his Pre Draft Workout with them. He might play well with Cousins. He is also reportedly on the top of the list for Philly.
Moe Harkless to work out with the Warriors! Is it possible to trade up 30, 35, 52 & acquire Harkless? He has Warrior attitude and is tough as nails. Excellent defender, rebounder, & can score. Raw but has great motor...
Can Jet Chang play in the NBA?
Moe Harkless Moe might be a steal in the early 20s. Coach said he is complete package and best player coached. Apparently, better than Baron Davis.
Evan Fournier Potential 30 or 35 round pick for the warriors? Uncanny instincts and tenacious game.
