The next couple of weeks will define what type of team the 'Stros will be this year. All of these games are against Central foes or as with Rangers in-state rival. All of these teams...cubs,brewers,rangers,reds are all well above .500 and this will be a brutal stretch for the 'Stros. Hopefully the  Recent success..winning 5 out of 6 will get the team in a winning mind-set. And although they have been winning lately the cubs are wounded and i can't see them continuing to win against good teams without all their stars contributing.. namely Ramirez and Zambrano. How long will teams continue letting Soriano blast a leadoff homer before someone pitches him high and tight to get him to quit diving over the plate. So we get the cubs at reduced strength, Then a day off and the brewers and rangers at home before going to our home away from home in Cincy. I feel that even though it is still early, these next 12 games against these 4 teams will make or break the season. The 'Stros need to go at least  7 and 5 to reach .500 for the season and hopefully better during this stretch. If they do at least this against some of the best teams in baseball right now, they will have a foundation to build the rest of the season on. If they do better by taking 2 of 3 in each series it could propel them into something special this year! With the way the offense has been clicking lately and with Wandy ,Roy and Mike hiiting their stride I am Optimistic!
