Revs 2 - 0 Dynamo: Player Ratings & MOTM

The Revs beat Houston this past Saturday in what would have probably amounted to a huge payout if you could bet on MLS in Las Vegas (can you?) based on who scored the Revs' goals. There was one obvious MOTM, but some other key contributors as well.

Know Thy Enemy: Revs vs. Dynamo (part 2)

With the Dynamo coming to town, you know the Revs will want to get some sort of revenge on the shellacking they took in week one down in Houston. It 's a big test for the Revs, for sure. And it might be just as big of a test for the Dynamo as well.

An Arbitrary Number of Thoughts: United vs. Revs

I really didn't want to have to re-live this one. But, alas, I guess I had to. Anyway, here's some food for thought as we look ahead to this weekend's match against the Houston Dynamo.

MLS DC fines, suspends Neal and Heaps

Official word came through this afternoon that DCU midfielder Lewis Neal and Revolution head coach Jay Heaps will face punishment for their unrelated actions during last Saturday's match.

An Arbitrary Number of Thoughts: Revs @ Quakes

The first win of the season feels good, but will that feeling last? Before New England's big test against DC United this weekend, I take a look at a couple points from their stoppage-time victory against the Earthquakes last Saturday.

Retired Rev Simms Needs Kidney Transplant

Our sad regards go out to Clyde Simms who we learned today is awaiting a kidney transplant.

Preview: Revs @ Quakes

The Revs travel to sunny (but actually rainy) California this weekend to take on the San Jose Earthquakes. Here's a quick preview of the match and also some interesting facts about San Jose!

Revs Sell GK Pickens to Tampa Bay Rowdies

Recently-acquired (like, *very* recently) goalkeeper Matt Pickens has been sold to the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the NASL. I don't even know...

An Arbitrary Number of Thoughts: Revs vs. 'Caps

Vancouver came into Foxboro looking to build on their fairly impressive start to the season. The Revs were looking to stop the bleeding. In a way, both got what they wanted; the 'Caps got a point away from home and the Revs defense returned to form.

GIllette Stadium Gets New FieldTurf "Revolution"

There were rumors of this news coming, and now it has officially arrived. Gillette Stadium will be getting a makeover during the next two weeks while the Revs are on the road, and a new, state-of-the-art playing surface will be installed called FIeld

Revs Add Veteran MLS Goalkeeper Matt Pickens

New England has added a *fourth* goalkeeper to their roster today with the addition of 2010 MLS Cup-winning goalkeeper Matt Pickens, formerly of the Colorado Rapids. Yeah... We're just as confused as you are.

Revs Loan Sanchez To Rhinos

Jossimar Sanchez becomes the third loanee to the Revs' USL PRO affiliate, the Rochester Rhinos, for the upcoming 2014 season.

An Arbitrary Number of Thoughts: Union vs. Revs

Everyone likes lists these days right? Well here's one about the Revs' 1-0 loss to the Philadelphia Union this past weekend.

Revs Loan Soffner and Sundly to Rhinos

The first half of the Revs' 2014 Rochester loanees have been announced this morning. Goalkeeper Luis Soffner and holding midfielder Alec Sundly have been sent to the Rhinos this week and have already begun training with Bob Lilley's squad.

5 Changes for the Revolution in Week 2

That season opener was pretty brutal. But, still, there's some options for the Revs to turn it on Saturday around at PPL Park. Seth breaks down 5 changes that Heaps could consider ahead of this weekend's contest.

An Arbitrary Number of Thoughts: Dynamo vs. Revs

Believe me, I don't want to relive this match anymore than you do. So, let's get this over with. Here's some thoughts on what went wrong on Saturday.

Smith Still Learning the Ropes at Left Back

The Revolution gaffer has been pushing this preseason to get sophomore Donnie Smith up to speed at the left back position, a role he feels he's taking to well, especially with the help of a seasoned veteran and "big brother" like Chris Tierney.

Heaps Hoping to Clean Up Imbongo's Reputation

2014 is turning out not to be the blank slate that Dimitry Imbongo was hoping for. The MLS Disciplinary Committee has handed him a 2-game ban for his preseason red card last Saturday. But Heaps is not losing faith in his young striker just yet.

New England Signs Midfielder Alec Sundly

With just over a week before the start of the 2014 season, the Revs are hard at work finalizing their roster for the upcoming campaign. Yesterday they added Jossimar Sanchez and Daigo Kobayashi. Today they've announced the signing of Alec Sundly.

Revs Sign Versatile Defender Jossimar Sanchez

The Revolution are left with 4 open roster spots after signing defender Jossimar Sanchez today. Sanchez, who was selected in last year's Supplemental Draft, trialed with the team last season and has impressed this preseason camp enough to earn him a

Revs Draft FWD Pierre Omanga w/ 3rd Round Pick

The Southern New Hampshire University striker completes the Revolution's 2014 SuperDraft, joining 1st round selections Steve Neumann and Patricks Mullins as well as 2nd round draftee Alec Sundly.

Revs Select Neumann, Mullins, & Sundly in Draft

New England added crucial pieces to the attack and in the midfield with their 1st and 2nd round selections in the MLS SuperDraft. They had to do some wheeling & dealing to get their guys, but surely there will be some glasses clinking in Revs camp.

Revolution Re-Sign Winger Donnie Smith

New England isn't done with their busy Monday morning just yet! Now they've announced that they're bringing back left-sided midfielder Donnie Smith for another season with the Revs.

Revs Officially Trade Parkhurst's Rights to Crew

New England secures the 4th overall pick in Thursday's Superdraft along with an undisclosed amount of allocation money by trading away the rights to U.S. Men's National team defender Michael Parkhurst. Revs now have 3 first round picks.
