A life-time sports-a-holic, I was brainwashed into being a Duke fan by my father. He was impressed with their academic prowess and their\\ success on the field of play. When I got into school I noticed every one around was a Tar-Heel, or a Wolfpack fan and I was big on not being like everyone else. So, at the time (mid to late 70's) being a Duke fan was not that glorified, so I chose my Professional Alliances with the successful teams of the era. The Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Reds were both Champions and annoyed every one around me. I am very loyal to my teams and have followed them ever since.

I am married and the father of two beautiful young daughters, 12 and 13. We live in North Carolina and have to hear so much BS from the TARHEELS in our lives. But we hold up the Duke banner with pride. My hope is that my daughters are fortunate enough to attend Duke University. If not I will always, continue to support the BlueDevils.

The Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Reds will also maintain my loyalties, but I try to follow Duke grads and their careers in the Pro Leagues. Such as, JJ Redick and the Orlando Magic.
