Mosley, apologize
Matt Mosley aka His Master's Voice (with apologies to Ed 'I don't report facts' Werder) speculated that Jerry wanted Dan Reeves to sell stadium tickets and that was the deal-breaker. Here is the link - http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nfceast/0-8-18/Another-Cowboy-rides-away.html.
Folks this is what passes for journalism now - Reeves wouldn't identify the deal-breaker, but my gut tells me it had something to do with the new stadium. (emphasis mine).
Now you hear that JJ wanted an 'hours clause' - Dan was surprised that in his 29 years, he was never asked to sign a contract with such stipulation. Well, Dan I have news for you - never in your 29 years were you anything but an assistant or a coach. You are 65 years old, away for full-time football for over 4 years and I suspect, not living in Dallas. What did you expect - a sinecure position? Jerry wanted you to commit to spending as much time as required and you weren't quite prepared to do that.
I say, boycott all Cowboys haters - JJT, Brian Davis, Timsters and of course Werder & Mosley
