I'm a Chicago fan because of my Illinois upbringing, with two notable exceptions. When you're five years old and left-handed, you tend to notice other left-handed people, and the first game I vividly remember watching involved the Niners, and Steve Young. I was hooked then, and I've been on board ever since, to the chagrin of my Bears fan dad.
Best years of my life (sports-wise): 1991-1998, The Jordan Era and a Niners Super Bowl

Aside from that, I'm looking to find something to do with my journalism degree that keeps me from eating an endless supply of Ramen, and enjoying any chance I get to kick back with a cold one and enjoy the game.
