Lets be realistic
The celtics are struggling. its clear to anyone who has seen what they are capable of and then watched us lose to the likes of the lowly nets. Morale is low, chemistry is iffy, age is starting to show in the legs of our beloved big three. Its hard to say whats in store for the rest of this season, and next year etc.
But we need to remember who we are rooting for. True celtics fans, who root from the heart, who have been here since the days of old, through the downs of the last decade, we have been here to SUPPORT this team. Those who see failure in a team that is already going to the playoffs is just plain ignorance. I watched every single game, year after losing year, because i love the celtics. plain and simple.
And to be honest I am begining to lose faith in the celtics blog. i have read fanpost after fanpost, downing this team of ours in thier time of struggle. its disapointing that so many so called fans can say the team they suposedly root for is garbage, or this or that and the rest of it.
The definition of a fan is as follows: an enthusiastic devotee, follower, or admirer of a sport, pastime, celebrity, etc.
i dont see devotion, i dont see admiration, i dont see enthusiasm (except maybe for the negatives)
Being realistic the Celtics are seriously not themselves, and its an issue. but encouragement and hope is what we should all have, at least those of us who are true celtics fans.
Stop complaining, we have a team capable of great things, have a little faith, and be fans.
Nate Robinson Officially a Celtic
"The long-rumored deal sending Robinson (illness) to the Celtics has been completed, Alan Hahn of Newsday reports."
News reports that the deal likely includes a package of Eddie House and J.R. Giddens.
I love Eddie House, and have loved him since the time he we signed him out of free agency 2 and a half years ago. He beat out Danny Ainge's record for three point shooting percentage, last season shooting .444% from behind the arc.
He has been a much apreciated spark off the bench and he was alway reliable.
But as much as I hate to admit it i believe his time as come, he hasn't performed quite at the top of his game this season, and I still love to see him come of the bench and greatly wish we could hold on to him. But Nate Robinson could give us that spark off the bench that we haven't gotten from Eddie as of late. I'm not saying this will be our solution by any means but this trade may be the first step to getting our groove back.
Goodbye Eddie House, You will be greatly missed
