Actually, I think farts are the only things that are trustworthy. No pretense, organic and belie nothing but stink.
Commented on Buccaneers, Johnny Manziel and NFL draft smoke screens on Apr 15 2014, 8:01a - 1 reply
Exactly. It's amusing we always discuss it as an either/ or proposition.
Commented on Do teams like Bridgewater or Manziel? on Apr 14 2014, 8:55a
You shouldn't be.

That movie juxtaposed that song well.

Not only is the sky not falling, it's been raining buckets of potential ever since they closed the door on the Schiano regime.

I was initially not so comfortable on picking Manziel if he were to be there at #7.
Commented on 2014 NFL Draft: Buccaneers "love" Johnny Manziel on Apr 13 2014, 10:51a
The comparison isn't between Lovie and Shanahan.

There's a pretty big difference, Frank.

It wasn't surprising to see a rookie WR struggle his first year adjusting to the speed and talent level in the NFL.
Commented on Banking on the Zone on Apr 6 2014, 2:43p
That's a fair point I haven't seen raised yet- the medical side of this issue.
Commented on Trading Mike Williams Creates More Questions Than Answers for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Apr 6 2014, 12:09p
Agreed. The comparison I was making was more to the point of the confusion over motives that accompanied these players release's and the arguments on this board both pro and con.

In any organization, it's generally considered unwise to piss off the boss, regardless of your talent level.

It's like deja vu, all over again.

Yep. Lovie and to some extent getting rid of Dominick was the biggest acquistion we've made so far.
Commented on Buccaneers are free agency winners once again on Mar 30 2014, 12:48p
Orange is the color of nostalgia. To those bygone days when we were so dominant. Oh wait. I just woke up.
Commented on The new uniforms, on stage on Mar 30 2014, 12:32p
Read any color psychology article and red is known as a 'power' color.

Unlike many who post and write articles here, I have no charts or statistical analysis to buttress my thoughts here.
Commented on Daily Bucs Links: Smith talks even more Manziel on Mar 30 2014, 12:00p
There's still way too many variables to have any idea just what our QB situation will look like this year.
Commented on What can the Buccaneers expect out of Josh McCown on Mar 30 2014, 11:46a
Somewhere in all of that I think you missed my point.
Commented on In Search of a Dynasty on Mar 23 2014, 5:52p - 1 reply
I think the difference between last year's coaching and the potential Lovie's staff has couldn't be more stark.
Commented on NFL Win Totals 2014: Buccaneers at 7 wins? on Mar 23 2014, 12:09p
Exactly. If you're talking "value" ( a concept I still don't fully understand the definition of) it just seems a bit overrated to draft a WR over a potential franchise QB.
Commented on Better Value outside of the QB in the Draft - Could Spell Trouble for the Bucs on Mar 23 2014, 11:50a - 1 reply
I see 7 wins as a floor, not a ceiling.
Commented on NFL Win Totals 2014: Buccaneers at 7 wins? on Mar 23 2014, 11:44a - 2 replies
I think that comment was more rhetorical, even disingenuous, than relevatory.

ps Draft day dilemna; Our clocks starts and Watkins and Bridgewater are available. What do you do?
Commented on Better Value outside of the QB in the Draft - Could Spell Trouble for the Bucs on Mar 23 2014, 11:28a - 2 replies
" The Bucs-Expect to be relevant." I can see that as a bumper sticker in the next marketing campaign.
Commented on In Search of a Dynasty on Mar 23 2014, 11:10a - 2 replies
We do have more immediate needs to give whoever our QB is the weapons and protection they need to succeed.
