Walter Payton, who many compare AP too in running style, had way more fumbles then AP in his first 3 yesrs. PAYTON had 30 to AP's 20. With that said, AP is making progress on the blocking and receiving.. I dont think he will be hopeless like troy williamson.

Ugh, of all the games for the vikings to get fumbleitis... Its' too bad we didnt get any long looks at ROSENFELS all year, i dont think he got a snap? I have NO iudea how those guys would fare. I assume they learned a lot working with FAVRE all year.

so he lost 6 fumbles. so what, three starting running backs lost 5 with less carries. but here we are all worried.

will he fumble? i doubt it. lets not get so worried. he is still very special. so he had a meager 1300 yards and pitiful 17 Tds this year (psss haha)

he can and will do his thing tomorrow. this is a big chance for him. i dont care if he gets 14 carries or 28. he will do his thing tomorrow. i just feel strongly about it.

the media has a crappy memory, they just say the easiest, safest thing. they jock momentum but we all know the stats on that. its an even matchup but we're more explosive. i wish we had a CB like rivas from the jets then we'd be just scary. berrian might show up. hell, these kinds of games weirs stuff happens. remember reggie rutland in 1987? rookie pic 6 against joe montana?

i think we will have a hero tomorrow and it won't be favre or rice or shanks.. it will be reynaud or someone pulling their weight. or some weird defensive TD. who knows. i hope we can get an interception we avg one like every other game it's lame

it's always about execution, turnovers and penalties. period.

this year, last year, all our losses, we had more turnovers and costly penalties.

people wanted us to blow the lions out.. shame we had 2 turnovers in the red zone. I know people yesterday were mad about the bob schnelcker "give up" draw play on third down that ame up short 2 yards.. we settled for a field goal.

people last year moaned about our lack of a hurry up offense or 5 WR set etc. our clock management. they said then and say now how sucky CHILLY is and back it up with a few examples. i have agreed with 95% of chilly's clock decisions, red flag challenges, onside kicks etc. i never get mad when a play doesnt work, because A i dont know who called it, if it was an audible... and usually it doesnt work because of a missed block, dropped pass, bad throw etc. I am also not allergic to punting like a lot of the under 30 yr old crowd seems to be and i hate fantasy football and betting on lines so i dont have dumb alternate agendas ruining my game. all i care about is winning and there is nothing wrong with punting!

so i want everyone's take on yesterdays goings on, NOT chilldress and co but the coaching decisions in jacksonville and new england!!

go for it on 4th and 2 on your own 28 with no TOs? why didnt he have time outs? i've never sen chilly put himself in a situaiton like that! last year even though we got into fg range and converted every time we had to in first and 2nd half endings people still bitched! (i say it's ballsy what NE did..why not... but if it was CHILLDRESS and not Bellichick people would be soooooo mad)

tell your RB to take a knee on the one, then run more plays, drain the clock and kick a fg instead of taking the TD and being up 6 with a minute left? (i disagree)

OKOK how about chilly goes for it on fourth and 1. we all wanted too. but he gives it to dugan instead of AP. he didnt get the first. i bet all the chilly haters got mad at that no? why not give it to AP etc? well i will let someone else explain why a quick hitting FB play might work better, or even a QB sneak.. and how the LBs are all aiming for AP on the play. our center just got blown up, he Fd up!

in other news i always bitched "why dont we ever lateral or pitch the ball" hahaha way to go AP now we never will again! =/ they do in rugby 75 times a game and never drop it.. i wish we could be more flexible in that regard.. run options, pitch outs.. etc

Yup. I'm back. I just wanted to say a couple things.

Look at the franchise that knocked us out of the playoffs two years ago. The washington Redskins. Look at the Tampa Bay BUCS.. look at the Browns and the Lions.

Focus on how quickly they went from good to bad. focus on how long they went from bad to still bad.

Then look at the year by year progress of CHILLY.

He got rid of the bad blood. He brought in key free agents. Retained great free agents. Made great drafts.

You can gripe about his play calling that one time in PITTSBURGH.. or on some goal line stands and FG settlings. (even though we rank high in red zone) you can argue hypotheticals all you want.

But now "he" is 7-1. Even if we lose in the first round of the playoffs.. he deserves super props, because our team, Aside form Favre and Pat Williams, is quite youthfull! We have a great future!

Have any of you guys come around yet to see the "big picture" and see how franchises are ran? It's not a quick fix. I know, if we didnt have favre, we'd easily be 4 and 3 right now. But we have him, and he's the main reason why. If we didn't have trestman, our current roster, and if CHILLY wasn't willing to stick his head out for him and keep after him, he wouldn't be here.

We should all be in a pretty great mood here on the bye, no major injuries... 7 and 1... easy schedule coming up. I am excited and I know all of you are, but all you people that wanted to fire childress were being impatient, short sighted and "roobish. "

can ALL the writers who actually get PAID to write (see - not amateurs like me who CAPS things when they wanna make a point) make an effort?

POINT - it doesn't make a difference if the D BACK or LB who is one half a step behind our receiver is a "starter" or an all pro or a scrub... if the QB throws a perfectly timed pass right on the numbers in stride, it's a great pass. I don't care if INDY didn't start their starters. can we stop being so lazy please? if there was no one covering them those passes would still be impressive.

if i was an editor at the strib my stories would be thus 1. rosenfels looks real real confident and solid 2. where is percy harvin? 3. our defensive line starters to the 83rd player looked real good. 4. how did our new center do? 5 brad chilly's beard. 6. our backup RBs kicked ass which proves that our O Line is good good

i just resent these people sometimes they just mail in crap it's a joke job it takes no skill or anything its just access and credentials.

Everywhere I look he gets dismissed for this or that... Belive me, I've seen all the "great white hopes" come in and out of the league.. people taller then K Love with a better jumper even. HE is just "special" in certain ways.

He obviously got screwed over by not making the rookie teams... But he will be an asset on the sophmore team and run some fools. Just his numbers alone were competitive.. I think it's LAME that the league doesn't appreciate rebounders. He is clearly going to be a dominating rebounder. Easily.

Last year he was number THREE in the league overall in offensive rebounds.

And he was NINTH overall in total rebounds. He only avg 25.3 mins a game! That is 8 mins less then everyone ahead of him on that list.

Sure you can argue he got blocked or missed lay ups and got those rebounds.. spin it however you want. Karl Malone was the most blocked forward in history (fact) and no one complained. I am not saying he is the mail man, but I am saying that vertical leap isn't everything. Those guys come and go.. Darius Miles rings a bell. HE came in as a 19 year old too i believe. Where is he now?

If K-Love remains a starter there is no reason he can't develop a JAY out to 20 ft..(we've all seen the youtube videos it's very realistic to think by the time he's 25 that he could have a nice three and be a great mid range shooter) and you could see his learning curve was sharp and fast this year, by the end of the year he was getting blocked less and getting more and ones from using his body properly. His FT percentage is about 80% and his TOs per game is 1.4 which is acceptable. He needs more assists obviously but like I said, they don't run plays to him or through him often. HE is the one receiving assists at this point

IDK I love this kid his upside is huge.. maybe I am preaching to the choir here but i'd take him over david lee or some other person.... not too mention I like his tweets haha and he is a cool down to earth guy who ids humble and happy to be with Al JEFF

Back in the 03s or 04s I asked my local bartender friend from IRELAND, who at the time was living in MN about the NBA playoff scores. I figured he'd know since he was a "naturalized" timberwolves fan and huge K.G. supporter. He just shook his head and said he didn't really know the scores of the other games. I asked him why not and he just looked at me and said (in full on irish accent)

"I like our guys... the rest are bastards"

And it really rings true, how many of you were rooting AGAINST K.G. when we played him.. in fact, all the way up until the end when you couldnt help but root FOR him to finally win his ring. (so happy for him)

how many of you rooted against smoot, or marbury anywhere, or C PEP or randy moss in oakland? i know i did, and i LOVED randy moss when he was here.. i think he was a choir boy on the grand scale of the plaxicos and T.Os and pac mans.

my point is that if FARVE comes here, he is one of "our guys" and who ever leaves (with the rare exception like K.G>) the vikes is a bastard. even if it's not their fault! =p

access to the films. the over head ones they use. Even during telecasts they rarely show us what is gong on AWAY from the ball. Did they get open? were they covered? Sure, we can see it in replays some times... but i wish it was more like european cable. when you can hit one button on your remote and get a DIFFERENT camera angle. or one that is always on one player. it's interesting.

imagine a totally user friendly broadcast.. when instead of givig us crap promos in between plays and such.. they could tell us what play they just ran.. what the defense was.. they could do more of that stuff. they do it sometimes.. but it would be nice. so we could see the tendencies an such.. see the strategy. i know a lot of it is self evident, we see traps and draws, end aronds.. play action. button up. the basics.. but still.

if you go by popular opinion here it sounds like we run the ball 90 percent of first downs. but we don't! (anyone have a stat on that)

And in regards to calling plays.. sometimes it just comes down to "touches" sometimes AP avgs 2.8 yards a carry if you take away one big one, and sometimes he avgs 7 yards a carry with no big ones. obviously the second one is better. he did OK in the playoff game. busted a big one.. just the usual play... off tackle.

you'd think it would be EASY to get a WR open with 9 men in the box. but it clearly isn't. are the coordinators/play callers that dumb? (no) so what is happening? Why don't they ever show us.. was our QB just following one guy? did he go through a progression and everyone was covered one on one? did protection break down?

it would be so much better if we had more FACTS. because unless you're at the game and watching the whole field.. we're left to just judge plays on if they worked or not.. not WHY they worked or didn't work. i dont think there are any geniuses.. i dont believe it's possible for one man to be so much smarter then the next when they all live and sleep football.. there are some play callers that go by percentages.. some that go by momentum.. some that go by the time of possession or play for field position, some that like to do hurry ups with 4 receivers just to mess with the defense .. depends on the players and such.

my "ethos" would be common sense. mis-matches.. and playing to my players strengths. we all know it's somewhat of a CHESS game so for every man there is that says that we're "predictable" there is a defense out there that is too.

some teams just run a tampa two shell. they dont need gimmicky stunts, blitzes from the corner or zones. because their men can play one on one and create pressure from just a four man rush, they can jam receivers.. they can disrupt routes. we aren't that defense. we stop runs.. we hope they can make passes. our four man rush sucks if they roll out AWAY form jared allen.

so all biases aside, if that is the case.. and we jump to a top ten offense. what will that say about chilly? i read and listen to all the interviews, dcasts.. what he says is real common sense. he said (of the 2005 team) that we didnt have any explosion. (chester taylor was our most explosive player) then he went out and got it. now in spades...

he said we didnt have a good pass rush.. he fixed that. now he's fixing the other problems. it DOESNT take a genius to do things.. no one is perfect. but so many of the arguments on here are based on people selective and entireley subjective biased memories. i sure hope PERCY can catch those little underneath or flat routes and turn them into first downs and "big plays"

(like people who hate DENNIS GREEN still gripe about him taking a knee. which i thought was wussy style btw. but no one even remembers that on the falcons tying drive we DROPPED 2 interceptions that would have ended the game! momentum wise all things point to gary andersons miss i know i know.. btu other things factor in)

so it used to be you could keep multiple profiles..

(up to four which was dumb, why have a limit with all the memory nowadays)

track user stats. head to head.. etc.

so after playing 100 games you and your friends B, C, and D could all see who likes to throw, who plays good run defense.. who is good at kicking etc etc. who's the KING ( i was usually since i played realistically and i didnt get influenced too much by beverages etc)

Now with the PS3 and these gay user profiles on the SYSTEM.. i could never figure out how to play my friends (in the same room at the same time, not online) and keep track of stats.

Am I the only person left in the world that HATES online gaming and prefers to play with his real live friends in person? isn't that half the fun?

I miss the old days, I miss bond and time splitter 4 way fights.. i miss mad stats.

the games these days are all for loser 14 yr olds with no real friends, all the memory is dedicated to useless crap. i wish we could purchase a "shell" of a game and customize it.. i would have just tons of human on human options. very little online. online is always wack people play the best teams and do stupid crap just to build their stats and record.. (especially with soccer games)

It would be Troy Polamalu. Not a QB. Someone like him or Ray Lewis.. someone who has had rings. makes plays and lifts everyone up. (in the secondary) we have a real "quiet" secondary. I love how they hit.. how they own the run game.. but no QBs are scared to throw it all over the field on us. just something i was thinking whilst reading all the articles about our new picks. (btw he's only 5'10. i am sick of people saying that's "short" he can obviously ball a little no? =)

NFL network VS ESPN coverage

Which did you prefer?

I thought the guys on NFL are just better flat out. more comfortable... fresh. happier. Maybe they benefit from a total NFL channel.. they don't have to cross promote etc. They're aren't as old and stale as ESPN.

I really don't like ESPN anymore, over the years they've gotten too into their own crap. You ever see the stuff the throw up on the screen? obscure sports they've invested in and such. And I am very tired of BERMAN. uugh. AND i don't like pardon the interuption or rome either.

On the flip side, i think rich eisen is great. I enjoyed chuckie yesterday, he always has funny things to say... I think NFL network filters out the annoying types.. you will never see a randy cross on there. I also really like DEON.. he's come into his own. Man he has some shit talking rights.. he got his rings.. he dominated. don't get me wrong, i HATED deon in the 80's and 90's... but now he's pretty chill

Poor player usage eh? Really? Well he took the number one RB and got him the rushing title. And he took our new "deep threat" and got him the longest yards per catch avg in the league. (and almost 1000 yards)

CHESTER TAYLOR also had great production whenever he played and in his starts. (am I missing anymore weapons? he also got KLEINSASSER a 17 yards per catch avg in the playoffs hahaha!)

People questioned if the VIKEs would even take a playmaker type, well they did, now they still question if CHILLY can utilize him. We all have a right to our opinions.. even lazy biased ones =p But I'm not worried.

( I am sure JETS fans or LIONS fans will be wondering why their new franchise QBs aren't starting as well.. like they're not being utilized". naive expectations and impatience)

sounds to me like the people who accuse CHILLY of having an ego and being attached to "pet projects" like T JACK and COOK are the ones with an EGO that can't and won't (even if PERCY has a great rookie season) admit maybe they were wrong.. or maybe that CHILLY is actually getting better every year? Or maybe he did as good as the next person could do with the avg talent in some key positions. just my humble opinion. I do not jock chilly.. i just joust the haters... someone has to do it

it's not that hard to wrap your head around is it? We're all vikes fans.. we all want success. I am glad the VIKEs are using common sense and doing "due diligence" in their drafting / scouting.

How hard could it be to "utilize" PERCY?. end-arounds.. bubblescreens, dump offs. easy weezy.

Why people say he will make duh Bears the "team to beat" is beyond me. Even if he is 20 percent better across the board he still won't matter... This is why I don't like all these "writers" who speculate on espn etc. Orton did not suck.. he was pretty decent.

Against NFC NORTH teams ORTON compiled the following stats. (6 games)

1,134 yards. 7 TDs 5 Ints (all five were in two games VS Us and The Pack... in the other 4 games he had zero interceptions)

I'd also like to point out that when i tracked matt forte's numbers in the same games he was pretty much cancelled out in all of them but one game where he got off against the LIONS. (he had 3 TDs and avg 20 carries for 68 yards) Turns out the NFC north has some pretty good run defenses. even in detroit!

So only in that one game did Orton receive significant help from his stud RB.

Why do people waste to much time? I know it's fine to speculate a little... play manager etc but still.

What is the accuracy of these projections? that these players will be any good at all in the NFL. is there a stat for it?

Remember mike williams 3 or 4 years ago, first round WR beast.. USC, 6'5 and projected to be a good WR. he was a total bust. so was our guy WIlliamson.. only Braylon Edwards produced from those top 10 picks!

We have had two HEISMAN TROPY WINNERS on our team in the last 15 years and neither of them could break into the STARTING LINE UP. Chris Weinke and Gino Torretta.

meanwhile some of the best players ever were drafted 6th, or not even drafted at all. tons and tons of them... brady, john randle, jerry rice (ok 16th overall.. the niners, then champs. moved up to get him but still...they said he was "slow" at a 4.6 forty. man those 40 dash numbers mean nothing!)

So why do people act like they know anything at all? I personally think people just look silly when they say so and so is gonna be a good or bad QB in the NFL.. or CB.. or RB.

remember DJ DOZIER? Ron Dayne? how about kijana carter? BUST.. he was taken like 2 rounds BEFORE curtis martin. OR Blair Thomas.. ever heard of him? bust RB taken 15 picks before emmitt smith,. Lawrence Phillips. 6th overall pick. bust.. never played past his 2nd year.

Just a repost from OCTOBER.. since there is not much going on. I know people are pretty polarized over him. I think the haters are fantasy football minded rubes who hate punting

This was posted just after our 148 to 142 point loss to the Bears where we had those TOs and muffed punts and such. ( I don't care if it's a fumble or a muff, just dive on it! =)

I did some stat sifting over breakfast after reading rubes online at the Star Trib whinge about play calling. Here are my findings and retort to said Rubes.

"It sure is easy to sit and talk smack in hypotheticals.. as if the plays you run in madden would work in real life.. it's so easy to move the ball and score in the nfl right?

If you go game by game 90 percent of our drives stall due to turnovers or penalties or drops. NOT PLAYCALLING..

All defenses have an advantage in the red zone, there is less space to cover, it doesn't mean we're predictable if we have to settle for a field goal every now and then...

even with all the griping and moaning we still have a top ten offense and we've played A LOT better defenses then a lot of the teams that avg 10 or 15 yrds more yards a game then we do.

It just makes me laugh. Chilly has done option plays, fake field goals.. gone on fourth downs at mid field as much as any other guy.

And for "plays longer then 20 yards" we are THIRD in the NFL and it's not cuz of AP.

so get your facts straight. you can laud the dolphins and their progressive WILDCAT offense all you want meanwhile they're like 25th in scoring!!!

here are some odd stats.

the vikes are 5th in penalties, and 26th in plus minus (turnovers)

i think those stats back up what I am saying pretty good.. better then you're arguments with hypotheticals"

I know people will say that the coach is responsible for penalties but I think that's another lame cop out, that he has to instill professionalism etc. You can only do so much... some people are stupid or slow or just suck (ryan cook tends too)

Now let's right the ship, reduce drops, penalties and turnovers and get back to winning

My personal take, especially now with the recession and economic layoffs is thus.

The best way to fight pink slips is with purple pride! Ricky took his severance pay to the Big Easy and watched us stomp dem Saints

Now I've never been an economics student... but it seems to me like BUILDING a stadium would require workers. To be a worker you need to have a JOB. Another thought is the salaries... Um, these guys have like a 67 million dollar pay roll, just for the player's roster, and that is tax at the heaviest percentage so... *gets out calculator Roughly at 15 percent (local/ state tax not federal) it's $10 million a year in income tax alone. $100 million in 10 years. (not including inflation)

The Vikings Facilities are in disrepair!

We also have the vendors, parking revenues... NFL money.. a Super Bowl inevitably. Not to mention the litigation fees that our local Trial Lawyers and such will get from various illegalities committed by our players. It's a no brainer to me. I didn't get mad when they gave thousands to the new Theatre.. I don't go, but i know it's an important part of a large city. Just like Stadiums.. I can't believe people are complaining about minuscule tax hikes or saying "I'm not gonna pay for it" as if they know anything about our budget and revenue plans. They don't know who's paying for the roads, schools, or where the lottery money is going. (to the loons, literally, not us)

I am not gonna bitch and moan about the QB or getting a "true #1 WR" etc. That is all been driven to death by the fantasy football / mock draft people to argue about. They can project so and so to be a great WR all they want. More then half the time they're dead wrong anyways. Even the "experts" (e.g. Mike Williams 3 years ago) I also won't touch on the trade possibilities for Boldin and Braylon.. let's assume they don't happen for us... I'm not even gonna talk about the draft...

(just take the best player out there please!)

What I THINK we need more then anything~~~~~

We need our team to be more DISRUPTIVE... especially in the passing game! We were 10th in the league as far as PASSING ATTEMPTS AGAINST (530) and only 22nd in INTERCEPTIONS (12).

By comparison the teams that were number one & two in INTERCEPTIONS (Ravens 26 and Browns 23) were numbers 12 (528 atts) and 3 ( 486 atts) respectively in most passing attempts against.

So the RAVENS have a PIC every 20.3 attempts and the BROWNS have one every 21 attempts.

Our ratio is one interception every 44 attempts. That's barely every game or two.

I used passing attempts instead of passing plays because of sacks, and scrambles etc. Which brings me to the other side of the passing plays. Sacks.

Contrary to popular belief, we were FOURTH in the entire league in total sacks. That's pretty good. Dallas was miles ahead of everyone with 59... we had 46. Just under three a game. And that was pretty much in line with the other teams on a per passing play ratio.

( Though it feels like with so many attempts on us, we'd have more)

In comparison the Bears had 622 passing plays against, to our 530, and they only got 28 sacks. that's one every 22 plays. we got one every 12 plays. dallas got one every 9 plays. now THATS disruptive!

Wouldn't you think with so many sacks (which means hurries and knockdowns presumably) we'd get more INTERCEPTIONS???

The stats say otherwise. DALLAS was almost LAST in the league in INTs... maybe because the opposing team never got to get the ball off?? Does that even count as a passing play then? I am pretty sure you have to "attempt" the pass for it to go into the stats as a passing play. so.... wtf?!? Bears in top 5 in interceptions... bottom 10 in sacks. I don't know... it must come down to the players and the schemes no??

For comparison, Baltimore DEFENSE allowed 50% completions, best in the league, we were around 60% (middle) and the Lionesses were at 60%. ( 0-16) I am sure that stat overall is more important then INTs.. obviously the RAVENS defense is the bench mark being in the top 3 in every category more or less.

FUMBLES

We were 2nd in the LEAGUE With forced fumbles! That's great.. and fourth with recovered fumbles... obviously that's just how the ball bounces etc.

Any casual fan knows we have hard hitting DBs and they cause fumbles. I like our guys a lot. We also know Mr Sharper was a tad late to a lot of passes and didn't really fulfill the position name of being a "strong safety" for us. oh no, sir.

3rd down conversion ratio AGAINST

I can't find this stat anywhere, but I remember being traumatized many times in the Philly game. sometimes we can't even get coverage sacks so what gives? I know sometimes we have a zone, sometimes do bump and run, so I won't generalize... but in general - we don't seem to have that killer instinct. I know a few games when we had late leads we held... but it felt like when we NEEDED something...we couldn't even get a hurry or knock down. A LOT of 3rd and longs seemed to scare me more then a 3rd and 4!!

Anyone know where to find this stat? (3rd down success against us)

anyways, i like getting EJ Henderson back.. MADEA Williams playing all year, Sharper leaving and JOHNSON taking over. We will be a little faster and more disruptive. We need our LBs and DBs to make those picks! Just 10 more next year would translate into a couple wins or some comfortable wins instead of nail biters!

I said this last year and I will say it again, I'd rather have a younger not as experienced FASTER reacting player like Tyrell JOhnson then a smart, veteran who anticipates but STILL gets there to late and gives up his ASS on the play. I remember 3 plays off the top of my head when sharper got came up the DULLEST horn on our ship!

Why I don't like the "beat writers"

All they do is speculate, pontificate and regurgitate.

They write blogs on espn.com, local news paper websites and such about who might do what. They play god and say that this coach would never sign this type of player, or that this team needs to fill this hole and wouldn't go for a certain player on the trading block.

I read all of the ones about our Vikings.. hoping for some kind of actual "insider" viewpoint and rarely do i get anything out of it.

The only thing that these people have that we, the common readers, don't have is ACCESS.

They get to be in the press room, they get the wires before us, they get to interview people sometimes. All that info and they still can't say anything relevant and you know why?

Because NFL head coaches and GMs aren't stupid. Why would they tip their hat? Why would they say who they're gonna take, or if they want a certain player or this or that when they can just operate UNDER THE RADAR and make offers or inquiries?

You really think Chip Scroggins knows if CHILLY is gonna make a move for BOLDIN? I mean anyone with a brain knows he'd be a great fit for us. You think Spielman, inspite of him saying he "doesn't want to lose too many draft choices" wouldn't want him for 2 picks when Boldin is under a 2 year contract? That makes no sense. You can't DRAFT a BOLDIN. The best "sure thing" picks are even considered 50/50 as far as panning out. I know that, Spielman knows that... And to say that Sidney Rice will step up blah blah it's just the laziest of writing. If he watched all the games he might have noticed that a healthy Sidney Rice couldn't get open against a PHILLY CB playing on one leg. I just don't think he's ever gonna be a number 1 WR

The only thing that matters right now are two things. When a coach says his player is "on the trading block" and that the draft is coming up. Until then all this talk about who might go where is rubbish. Braylon Edwards and Anquan Boldin will probably get traded to a team no one is mentioning, it wouldn't surprise me one bit. Just remember, there is no consequence for NFL teams saying they'll do this or that and the NOT doing it. None. We all know they do it sometimes to throw people off.

These guys can write all they want, collect their checks for misleading the public and teasing us with "likely scenarios" and "mock drafts" all they want. I don't give them any more credit then the weather man and we all know how well they do. The only difference is that the weathermen are decent enough to give us percentages, 20% chance of rain, 35 percent chance of snow. These guys can only offer up maybes and possibly and at the end of their "speculations" they always cover their own asses by saying "but you never know" or "weirder things have happened."

I hate the mock draft as much as i hate mock chicken. I just wait for the real thing..

So keep your worries under wraps.. until the draft is over and done with we really have no clue if the Vikings are gonna emBoldin themselves with some trades for a wide out or higher pick but based on the proven track record of Spielman and Chilly... I feel like no matter what happens we will get another couple good players in the next couple weeks.
