According to Baker, Wlad has been DFA and Saunders is on his way up.

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/marinersblog/index.html

A sign that GMZ is starting the retooling process with more moves to follow? Or are they hoping Saunders comes up and provides a spark to an offense that clearly could use one, in a hope that they can close the gap between them and the Angels? This next week could get very interesting.

Churchill is saying Vidro may be gone.

Over at Prospect insider Churchill is saying

"There are some rumors starting to swirl around the team as they left Kaufmann Stadium today that designated hitter Jose Vidro's career in Seattle is over and that he will not be with the team when they open a three-game series versus Cleveland on Friday"

Which is incredibly relieving news, I mean it was inevitable and all but that didnt stop me from worrying that somehow his option would still end up vesting.

Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon, Gaylord Perry hit his first of six

So has anyone else ever used this site, a friend of mine just signed up and had me try it. Basically they give you 10 cents for free, and you can bet it on basically whatever i.e. at vegas and if you can turn that 10 cents into 10 bucks or above you can cash out. My friend was saying somebody was bragging that they ended up with like 50 bucks.
