The most mentioned teams in the Dany Heatley sweepstakes are the Edmonton Oilers and the Chicago Blackhawks.

This is according to agents and league sources of the Ottawa Citizen. Other teams in the running are the San Jose Sharks and the Vancouver Canucks. Heatley requested a trade last week. The Oilers could put together a package of defensemen to send to the Senators. The Sharks could offer center Patrick Marleau. Other teams reportedly interested are the Blues, Wild and Canadiens. One rumor that isn't true: The Canucks will not send goaltender Roberto Luongo to Ottawa to get Heatley.

I should be wearing red, black or white for thursday's playoff game against the flames.  I hear of a Blackout, but that's already been done with the white sox.  I heard in a earlier post about a Red out, or red rising.  Or are they going to do anything, please let me know!  Let's go Hawks!!!!

I am getting really sick and tired of the Chicago Bears being penny pinchers, I was reading on ESPN about how we did a great job to get 30 million under the cap.  According to JA we are not going to spend any money on any FA or make a big splash in the trade market, WHY?  There are 2 players we need to drop everything to get, Cutler and Boldin, and now that we have a chance to sign Holt to add some experience to the WR core, that won't happen!  Because, according to JA, they don't want to have to have a huge rise in ticket prices!  I would love to pay an extra $$ amount if the team is aggressive and tries to put the best team on the field.  Don't make mediocre signings like Hamilton, Jones, Bullocks (he is just awful).  The more we sign mediocre FA the more we become mediocre!  Go after Holt, Go after Boldin, Go after Cutler, make an effort as management to put the best product on the field.  This is crap, it's really affecting my love for the Bears.........

What games are going to be on TV, I have not heard?  Is WGN gonna broadcast any? Or are they going to just show 6 like last year.  Is 720AM gonna broadcast the game too?  Granted we have a few players in the WBC, which I like.  I like the fact that they will get to expierence in-game situations.  I really just need to put this in here to make 75 words or I won't be able to post.

Really? Do we really need this signing or is this another oppurtunity to piss some more money away? We already threw 2 Million away with miles (which I didn't like) but do we need another 2B?  I like hudson but not at that price........

I am very curious on what everyone thinks about this situation.  Should we give up Vitters (and others, obviously) for Peavy?  Personally, I would keep Vitters but either way we will still be good. . . . . . What do you think?

Better make a move that will improve this ball club in some ways......I was just listening to 670 and they were speculating that Jim Hendry might be done dealing and that we will just wait until 2009-10 offseason to figure everything out and that will give ownership time to figure everything out.  I find that complete bull crap.  I want a winner and I want it this year!  That made me so furious at Hendry......He better make a move.

I think Derek Lee should be traded.  I think we have a capable back up at 1st in Micah.  If not then get Adam Dunn to play first, sure we are losing defensively but this frees up money so we can go after a few others and maybe spend some extra on a decent corner outfielder, or even get a good one in return.  And who knows we might go after pa pa papa. . . . . .Peavy!  We do ya'll think?

When Soriano comes back everyone knows that he is going to bat in the leadoff spot.  I understand that he can't hit in the 2 hole or the 5 hole.  So why not bat him sixth?  If i was lou, the order would go

1. Pie/Johnson
2. Fukudome
3. Lee
4. Ramirez
5. Soto
6. Soriano
7. DeRosa
8. ONEDEC/Theriot
9. Pitcher

With Soto batting 5th he will be seeing much more strikes with Sori batting 6th, if anyone else thinks this is ridiculous let me know but i really believe this would work.......

Are just an atrocity.....I mean the pants for Prince Fielder and Eric Gagne are so big you could fit europe in those.  During the ninth inning in tonights game Mike Cameron had this jersey untucked.....I understand if they have the knee high socks on and the pants might be a little baggy but this is just ridiculous.  I am kinda suprise Major League Baseball allows this.......This is something small but I kinda think it's disgraceful.  Wear the uniforms the way your suppose to.....

Soriano, Pie, Crawford....all in the outfield, will a ball land on the ground?  With all that speed you would think that would be impossible....Now I like the idea of those 3 in the outfield but I have to think giving up Hill or Marmol or both would put us with 2 new holes we need to fill....Is it worth it?  From what I have been hearing on ESPN1000 * Cedeno * Hill * Marmol For Crawford.....I don't konw if I would do that......
