I propose we call our under achieving wide receiver Soy Williams. I think the name Soy applies because Roy is a fake talent. He is a substitute for a real #1 wider receiver. Miles Austin has come on strong lately and in two games has nearly eclipsed Soy Williams Cowboys career receiving yards. Soy put in another another terrible performance against the Falcons. He had a few drops, a dumb penalty and did a strange jump move to hide the fact that he quit on a route.

We got hosed on the trade with Detroit. We should cut our losses at the end of the season and use Soy's money on Miles Austin. Maybe we should bench him now and see what Sam Hurd can do on the field. Miles has stepped up in his moment, so let's give Hurd his chnace. It is time to see what the bottom of our WR depth chart can do. We don't need anymore Stanbach-type projects at the WR position.

Regardless, let's all agree to call him Soy.

You know it, I know it, so I am sure the opposing defense knows it.

Why do we only have one audible? And why does Romo seem to go to it once a series? What about a quick pass or a toss sweep? Something, anything just to keep the defense honest. I have to believe that Jason Garrett can come up with something better than this weak play. Is Romo making the correct read to cancel the play that was called? This has to change.

Terrible Officiating in the Texas-Tech Game

Regardless of who you were cheering for, did anyone think that the officials did a good job in last nights game? In the first half, it seemed like they missed a lof of holding calls on Tech's offensive line. Later in the game they called that ridiculous holding call on Adam Ulatoski when the Tech DE fell down and he placed his arm on him afterwards. There were two obvious block in the back penalties on Shipleys punt return, one of which was called, and then they picked up the flag?! That offensive PI call on Crabtree when Tech was first and goal was also pretty weak.

Terrible officiating drives me nuts and shouldn't play a role in a classic game like this.

What do you guys think?

Could Tech be ranked #1 with a win?

If Tech beats Texas, will they be ranked #1? I think they should be. They will have beaten the team that has obviously proven themselves as the team to beat by doing the most this year (Beating OU, OSU, MIZZOU) and will have proven they are worthy of the ranking. A lot of people are saying Alabama, but I live in SEC country. Alabama only has one quality win. The Big Ten is not up to par with the Big 12 and SEC. What do you guys think?
