Now that the draft is over everyone can exhale. I think J Ireland did a good job. Tannehill seems to have a lot of UPSIDE. I think combining him with Sherman with accelerate his growth as a player. There are certainly a lot of questions but overall I think Lamar Miller was a steal. There is still a big hole at WR. I am not going to count on a bunch of 2nd level unproven WR to take over for B Marshall who had 80 catches and over 1200 yds with 6 TD's. Brian Hartline is OK for a second WR but NOT a #1 go to guy. 35 catches 550 yds 1 TD. I wonder what people think of Jabar Gaffney. Last year he had 68 catches for 950 yds and 5 TD's. He is not BM19. But I think he is an upgrade from what is on the team now! His stats have been pretty consistent and he has a few good years left in him for sure!!

In all honesty, I don't know very much about this guy. Statistically his numbers are not quite as good as Ryan Mallets numbers were in his second year of college. He is certainly faster but he is also 2 inches shorter. More importantly he averaged over 2 yds LESS per throw than Mallett who was a 3rd round pick. He throws more interceptions and his 4th quarter comeback were very Henneish.

I have heard all the "POTENTIAL" BS. I am not sure what that means. I am all for drafting a QB in the first round because the management has wasted a zillion picks on second round QB's. But I am not sure given the poor shape of this team that NOW is the time to draft a QB who will take a couple of years to develop.

I would like to pose a hypothetical question. Let's say that the team drafts R.T. @ #8. He will need some time to develop. It is not like he will be able to jump in day one and start. The team is desperate for a #1 WR since they dumped Brandon Marshall. If they draft R.T. in the first round, it will be mandatory that the team drafts a WR in second round otherwise who do you throw to?? Add the lack of a strong RT on a team that gave up 50+ sacks last year and any QB will be running for his life.

There is also a crucial need for another pass rusher. Let us not forget that there is a new Head Coach, new Offensive and defensive co-ordinators Given all that, let us say after game 10 when the team is out of the playoffs, RT gets to start a few games and does OK. The team most likely will be drafting pretty early next year and NOW, Matt Barkley is available! What do you do? Do you draft Matt Barkley???? Because IMHO, if you draft RT at #8, the team is guaranteed to have a top 5 pick next year!!

The Dolphins seem to have a lot of needs at this point of time. So, fans, lets say JI got fired tomorrow and you are given the job to draft for the 2012 Miami Dolphins and you are on the clock!! What would you do? What do you think the major needs are? There are only so many first round picks to go around. What are your needs assessment? In what order do you make you picks? Obviously it is a little unfair, since no-one knows who is going to be on the board, But in general, how would you rank the teams needs? In what order? If for example you want to trade down and pick up a QB later in the round, your QB is your still your first option. If you think the team should stick with the existing QB's for this year and hopefully get Barkley or Jones next year, well, QB is your last choice.

I am into statistics, So before commenting about Ryan Tannehill, I looked at his college statistic and THEY ARE LOUSY. I don't understand the hype. Even in the best case scenario, he is not an NFL starting QB NOW!! Look before you jump up and down.

I have been critical of this organization and have yet to be proven wrong. They are incompetent and seem to be shooting from the hip and do not have a plan. It seems no good free agents want to come here. Lets see. They trade 2 second round picks in order to get Brandon Marshall. They know he is a trouble maker but he is a very good WR. They put him with Chad Henne who had no idea how to play with him. They over pay and then when he gets into trouble, they dump him for 2 3rd round picks. There were many good WR on FA market. The team signs none and now have no #1 WR. Brian Hartline is OK. But IMHO, he would be a #2 or #3 WR on most other teams in this league! Actually, I have been rather pleased with Matt Moore. But now the team seems to be considering overpaying Alex Smith, who for much of his career has been a bust or even worse, drafting Ryan Tannehill!

Last year, the team had the opportunity to draft Ryan Mallett in the second round but passed on him. He is so much better than Ryan Tannehill. Lets do a quick comparison of their last 2 years at college.I will list them as QB Rating ---Completion % ---- TD/INT's Ryan T Texas A&M 2010----93-----65%-----13/6 2011----89-----61%-----29/15 Ryan M Arkansas 2009-----153----56%----30/7 2010-----164----65%----32/12 It seems this team is floating aimlessly with NO PLAN. New England drafts for the future. They pick up Ryan Mallet in the 3rd round and are now grooming him to replace Tom Brady.

This team uses 2nd round picks and hasn't been able to find a starting QB in a decade. CP10 fell in their laps and did great for a few years. Last point, look at the players we could have had! Drew Brees could be passing to Wes Welker and Brandon Marshall. IMHO, that is super bowl material. Instead we could be looking at Alex Smith possibly throwing to Ted Ginn again and Brian Hartline!! Does anyone else see a problem here??????

Well, this is it! Stephen Ross, now, has the opportunity to be a great owner or a complete disaster and destroy this great franchise! The question is: Which QB is BEST for Miami??

Peyton Manning---Is Peyton going to return to form and does he have 3 or 4 good years left? Can he bring this team to the Super Bowl and bring the fans back to Davie?? Who knows?? Let the doctors and Dan Marino help out with that decision. Well, we know S.R. is a flashy guy! Peyton Manning certainly will bring back fans for at least one year if he signs with the Phins. If it turns out that the nerve damage is bad like many think, Ross will have made another blunder of epic proportions. If he signs elsewhere and plays Ross for the fool he appears to be with his other football moves, well, another nightmare could occur if another team gets Matt Flynn!!

Matt Flynn. Well noone knows him better than Coach Philbin! Either he signs with the Phins and becomes a star or goes elsewhere and flops. Now if Ross is so determined to get Manning regardless of his condition and Flynn goes elsewhere and becomes a stud QB, this is another potential DISASTER.

RG3--- Well the team didn't Suck for Luck and they were lousy for R. G. so if options 1 and 2 don't pan out, you best get RG3!!

So Stephen Ross, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO??? Is you desire to sell tickets for one year greater than your desire to create a great long term franchise??? Are you going to rely on your advisors who know more than you to properly assess the situation!! Well? What is it going to be???

Or are you going to tell the fans Matt Moore and Chad Henne are going to be the next Dan Marino!!!!

As many people know I have been incredibly critical of this organization. However,now that my two nemesis have left he team, I have a change of heart. Clearly, there should be no doubt in anyones mind how much of a disaster Chad Henne and Tony Sparano have been. I saw so much to be optimistic about today. Even though the Phins lost, they were 2 inches away from winning the game! That was the amount of space Clyde Gates needed to avoid a tackle and have a clear run to the end zone. Instead, he ends up on the ground, Matt Moore fumbles and the score is now 17-10 instead of 24-3. Oh Well.

However, that is not my point. Without Henne and Sparano, the team has life and there is a feeling that the team can actually score touch downs. Moore can scramble a little and is not afraid to throw the ball to a receiver that is not already 5 yds open. He KNOWS that Brandon Marshall is a beast and if you throw the ball near him, he can catch it!! Also, that pass to Bess near the end of the game was a beauty. Again, CH7 would never have even attempted that throw. With respect to Sparano, aka, Mr Field Goal, at the end of the first half, ahead 17-0, the team threw the ball and tried to add to the score. Every one knows Brady is not going to have 2 lousy halves so you might as well score while the team is on the move. There is ZERO chance that Sparano would have let Dabull make calls like that. It would have been run, run, run and PUNT!!

So, even though Matt Barkley is going to stay at USC, having M. Moore under center is not the end of the world. He has been consistently throwing the ball well and is playing like an above average QB. Henne is not, and never will be even an average QB. A solid Backup. But NOT a starting QB. So even though the team is going to be 5-11 or 6-10, they played much better the second half of the year. So, without Henne and Sparano, I am beginning to see the sun coming out. Can you see Justin Blackmon lining up with Brandon Marshall, D Bess in the slot and maybe draft a Dwyane Allen in the second round at tight end.

Ahhh, things may be looking a bit brighter now!!!!

OK, I am a bit confused.  why is he still the coach?  It can't be that he is doing a GOOD JOB!!  I have come up with the following possibilities!

1) Steve Ross is a genius and really believes the Miami Dolphins need Andrew Luck.  And the best way to get Andrew Luck is to go 0-16 or at worst 1-15.  He knows Tony Sparano is the best Man to get the team there!

2) He is an incompetent Buffoon and actually believes that after being 0-10 over the last 10 games and something like 1-11 at home over the past year it is only a question of time until the team turns it around and goes on a 2 game win streak!! And Tony is the right man for the job.

3) He is really a cheap Bum and since he was stupid enough to sign him up for a two year deal after the J Harbaugh fiasco, he wants Tony S to be so embarrassed by his performance that he will just quit and walk a way from several million dollars left on his contract. I don't think Tony S is going to fall for that one now!!!

I really don't know.  None of these reasons is acceptable as a major sports team franchise owner.  Because if the stadium is much more than 50% full for the remaining games, I would be rather surprised.  Does anyone have any better reasons???

The Miami Dolphins are 0-6. Seriously, now what did you expect?  Lets see.  You take a team with one of the worst offenses in the league and hire the OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR from the team with the 31st worst offense.  You then, sign the QB from the team with the 32nd worst offense and get rid of your 2 starting RB's.  In April, the team drafts a center in round one.  You keep your coach who was 1-7 at home and your QB who had the 26th worst QB rating and then you wonder why the team is 0-6.

When this is the product that is put on the field, your fans deserve to root for the team to go 0-16 and get Andrew Luck. Obviously, as owner, you didn't care about putting a quality product on the field.  You change the starting times of games from 1  pm to 4pm in order to hopefully get a few more fans into the stadium.  The reality is that 1pm starts are part of the Dolphins home field advantage which has now completely disappeared.  This Gator celebration went on exactly as expected.  You honored a QB from the opposition and he wooped your ass.  Fortunately the fans are on to your BS.

Wait until the next home games. If you get 50,000 fans it will be a miracle. People don't care who the famous owners are.  They want wins!!  And that is what you, Mr Ross have not delivered!!  Therefore, our motto is SUCK FOR LUCK!!!.  Maybe you will realise that is our only hope now!!  PLEASE DON'T SCREW THIS UP!!!

It is painfully obvious that Tony S should not be the coach of the Miami Dolphins. I think unless you are a closet JETS fan, he days here are over.  Although  many of us knew that last year, Steven Ross either felt the need to be a nice guy after the Jim Harbaugh fiasco or else he is just a rich idiot.  SO folks, who is next? Should it be someone with past success? Gruden, Cowher, Fisher or a virgin such as Rob Ryan?? or a college stud such as Urban Myer who was hanging out with the owner yesterday?

The most important position on a football team is the QB!! Last year of the 12 highest rated QB's in the league, 11 played for teams with winning records.  The exception Matt Schaub.This year team is 3-3.  Of the 12 QB's with the lowest QB ratings,  11 played on teams with losing records.  The exception Mark Sanchez.  The Jets record in 2011, 3-3.  This year the 8 QB's with the highest QB ratings play for teams with a combined record of 35-11 for a winning percentage 77%.  The 7 QB's with the lowest QB rating have a combined record of 8-29 or 22%.

Soooo, there is only one answer, the Dolphins have to SUCK FOR LUCK or at very least get Landry Jones! As of today, it looks like they don't need to try very hard. Tony Sparano is clearly playing to lose games.

In what could potentially be the most idiotic stunt in sports history, Steve Ross is honoring Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators at halftime next week at the Denver Game. It could be the first time in history as far as I know that an owner of a team is honoring the Starting QB of an opposing team. I can see it now. Dolphins are losing 14-3 at halftime.  Tim Tebow will be 12-18 for 205 yds and 2 touchdown passes. Then Steve Ross is going to honor him with fire works and a big blowout festival.  Bad enough, that the Miami Hurricanes play their home games at Joe Robbie Stadium.  Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse......

I can't think of any other reason why he would put together such a group of incompetent bumbling fools to run The Dolphins. If the goal is SUCK FOR LUCK, it is brilliant!!  I am truly sick and tired of this. 4 games into the season, Henne is settling back to his normal QB rating in the 70's. Sparano is celebrating FG's. And this team is looking like one of the most pathetic collections In the NFL. They are in the bottom 5 in point scoring.  

I have been a fan for over 20 years. I have NEVER felt so disgusted. This is looking like last year continued.  They say the definition of Insanity is doing the same thing multiple times and expecting a different outcome.  The only thing that could surpass this is if Tim Tebow plays when Denver is in Miami and throws for a couple of TD's and the Phins are down 17-7 at half time.  This could be the first time in the history of Sports that an Owner of a teams celebrates the play of an opposing player. 

My nightmare scenario here is the team ends up 5-11 with the 5th pick in the draft and the teams ahead of the Dolphins draft Luck, Barkley and Jones. Then the teams picks up another O-Line or D-Lineman.  However, if Tony S stays around, maybe he can keep the team under 3 wins! 

David Garrard was released today from jacksonville.      Why isn't he a Miami Dolphin Yet?? Clearly he is better than the 2 QB's we got here. So what is the problem?  I believe that statistics tell a lot about a QB and a team.  Everyone knows that the of the QB's with the highest QB rating last year, I believe 11/12 played for teams with winning records and of the 12 QB's with the lowest ratings, 11/12 played for teams with losing records.

I don't know about you but I definitely think it is worth a shot!!

I am trying not to be a pessimist. However, IMHO, Tony Sparano is not a very good NFL Coach and Chad Henne will NEVER  be anything more than a backup QB.  Having seen him in college and reviewed his record and STATS, there is nothing that tells me or leads me to believe he is anything more than what we have seen the last few years here in Miami.  He is slow with his progressions, He is slow on his feet, he is not good on long out throws, he doesn't improvise, etc etc. Going into last year I was optimistic that Henne would improve. But I am a realist and know when it is time to abandon ship!!  That was last November.  Now, the team is screwed. However, if it means Andrew Luck and Bill Cowher in 2012, then all is not lost!!

Lets make a quick review of his record over the last 8 years.  Please someone show me WHY should we be optimistic? He didn't improve during his 4 years at Michigan which IMHO is a super RED FLAG!!! His stats in Miami are also identical the last 2 years as well. I am not going to go through it all.

Lets look at his college Statistics which were identical ALL 4 YEARS with no signs of improvement!

Freshman year 240/399 60% 2743 6.9yds/throw 25 TD’s

Senior year -—-162/278 58% 1938 7.0yds /throw 17 TD’s

And most importantly, that was with 3 NFL starting WR’S and Jake Long as his left guard!!!

Now lets look at his NFL statistics which are also unchanged during his 2 yrs as a starter!!!!

SO WHAT MAKES ANYONE THINK THINGS WILL CHANGE?????

The Miami Dulphins led by Dan Henning were the third lowest scoring Offense in the NFL in 2010. After meeting with Steven Ross, Tony Sporano decided to hire Brain Daboll to be Offensive Coordinator for the Team.  Having directed the Cleveland Browns to one of only two offenses worse than Miami, Daboll thought this would be a step up.  Sporano and Ross having interviewed other capable co-ordinators, settled on Daboff for 2 main reasons,  1) The OC from Carolina was not available because he was interviewing at a local flag football league and 2) It would be the best way for the Dulphins to compete in the 2012 Andrew Luck Sweepstakes!!

Ross and Sporano felt that the only way to top Dan Hennings Offense would be to hire one of the two OC worse than Henning.  Colt McCoy led the offense with a QB rating of 60.  This was the second lowest of all NFL QB's.  Daboll felt that he might be able to lower Hennes rating from 75 which ranked him 26 out of 32.

Multiple Sources state Steve Ross flew out to San Francisco tonight make JH a serious offer to be Dolphins next coach. Reports say Ross is willing to pay Harbaugh really BIG BUCKS to relocate to Miami.  Apparently the 5 hr meeting with the 49ers did not go splendidly well and Harbaugh is listening! 

Well, give Ross credit.  He spoke with "Sporano, he has spoke with other coaches and he seems serious about improving this team.  He let things play their course, didn't interfere this year when the team sucked it up. But now heis acting like an owner should!!

Interesting comments on 560 today by RW and BM.  I particularly enjoyed the interview of BM with Michael Irvin. He clarified what most of us knew already!  Henne and Sporano have to go. BM explained that he was frustrated with CH. He explained how QB and WR's are supposed to communicate.  For example, if the WR is supposed to run a square in and the DB is covering inside, the WR is supposed to advise the QB that the route is covered and change it to a square out or a fly pattern. He stated that this was the way Orton, and Cutler worked. He basically said Henne was incapable of 
making these adjustment and would be so rigid that everything had to go as planned regardless of coverage.  He noted that he had 3 catches for 76 yds with Thigpen as QB because he was able to make these adjustments yet had 2 catches for 21 yds with Henne! He said Tony S. had the same philosophy and this rigidness certainly held back the offense.  Ricky W. basically agreed with Marshall.  He said BM gets paid 50 mil so he can say the things that others want to say but won't say!

If this is not a defining comment about the offense, this team and coaches, I don't know what other than getting rid of TS, JI and CH will save this team.  Otherwise 7-9 would be considered a great  record for 2011!!!

OK, Chad Henne IS  the WORST QB in the NFL!!!

Is Sporano a MORON or does he really want to go on unemployment!  Beginning of the 3rd quarter, Henne has a QB rating of 25.8.  I never even saw a QB rating that low!!  Tyler Thigpen has a QB rating of 72.  Will someone explain to me why Henne is playing??  Can anyone put us out of this misery!  It is an embarrassment to be a Miami Dolphins fan!! 

Henne is getting worse and worse every game! The Patriots have nothing to play for an they are kicking the Dolphins Butts on the field.  I think even the most loyal Henne fans have to question their convictions after this season!  I can't take it anymore!!

Maybe they should try Ronnie Brown or Brandon Marshall at QB..........Just kidding!  Anyone except this abortion for a QB.

QB's are usually graded and ranked not just on QB rating, yds and TD'/INT's.  Often they are graded by how they END games!  The Peyton Manning's Tom Brady's and Drew Brees may be great all the time.  But Joe Montana and Matt Ryan are also known for their end of game heroic' . When your team is down by 5 points with 90 seconds to play you want your QB to drive your team to victory.

 Well our fearless leader, Chad Henne has to be the best of all times.  During the last 2 minutes of the games this season, Chad has gotten the ball 8 times and has thrown four or 5 INT's and the Dolphns has scored 0 points!  No Dan Carpenter 60 yd FG, no TD's !!  Natta, Nothing 

This is the signs  of a QB who CAN'T TAKE THE PRESSURE!  Dan Henning may suck, But young Chad is PATHETIC.  Vince Young may not be able to handle the pressures of professional football. Chad Hennne cannot handle the pressure of being under pressure DURING the game!!  This is the mark of a LOSING QB and a losing team.  THIS WON'T CHANGE!!!

Now for those who want to note that during the end of first half he has done better, 8 attempts during the last 2 or 3 minutes, he did lead the team to 1 TD and we did score 4 or 5 FG's, let us not forget at least one of those FG was 60 yds!!  

However, defense's KNOW how to beat Chad Henne and  THAT is not a good sign!

OK, the season is over and I think we have seen enough of Chad Henne to know that he is NOT the next Dan Marino!!  So why not give Tyler Thigpen another shot?? The one game he started, the entire O-Line was in shambles, Marshall was injured and the Center was Richy Incognito. I don't think even Dan Marino would have looked good under those circumstances!!  I say give him a shot the next two games,

To explain the inept incompetence of the Dolphins offense, which ranked last in the AFC and 2nd worst in the NFL, one only has to look at todays NFL games.  In the last 7:30 minutes of the fourth quarter of todays game the Eagles scored 28 points.  In the last  180 minutes the Dolphins scored 34 points.

 

Does that want to make you want to vomit or what?? Whereas most teams can run an offense, this team cannot.  Furthermore the end of the game drives when the team is behind is worse than most High School games.  In fact when I watched the St Thomas vs Plant High School Division 5 finals, the QB's on both sides were better than Henne.  The end of the game drives by the Dolphins against The Bills and the Steelers could be some of the worst incompetent play calling and football I have ever seen.

 

Well, hopefully, there will be only 2 more weeks of this for us to suffer through.  Clearly our defense is Stout!  I admitthat our DB's have K-Y jelly on their hands but comparatively speaking, that is the least of our problems!!

We beat the JETS.  Or Should I say the JETS beat the JETS!  When it is 2 against 0 it is even hard for the Dolphins to screw it up!! How many passes did the JETS drop?? How many times will Santonio Holmes DROP A WIDE open ball in the end zone like he did!!  I think even Teddy Bear Ginn could make that catch!!

Ok,  I have been on the fire Henning. It is his fault bandwagon until Sunday!!!  I suddenly realized if your QB sucks, WHAT are you supposed to do?  Why are we blaming Henning? Do you really think he is that inept?  Or is it that he realizes his QB is useless so he is trying to cover up his weaknesses!!  

Brian Hartline steaking down the sidelines 8 , 9 maybe 10 yds ahead of the DB.  Chad Henne in the pocket, not under a lot of pressure, throws up a blooper which is 10 or maybe 15 yds underthrown and to the inside of his WR so the only guy with a chance to catch it is the DB!  If you are Henning, do you think you are going to do that same thing again.  Especially when a couple of plays later Henne throws 5 ft over Bess's head into triple coverage.  DUHHH!

It is hard for me to imagine Henning sitting on the sidelines saying, I don't like this Chad guy!  I am going to make sure the Dolphins lose!! It may just be that he knows the truth about Henne and has to try to do the best he can with a piss poor QB.  

I also think what compounds this is the fact when the pressure is on Henne tends to choke.  How many times this year has Henne thrown a TD during the last 3 minutes of the half or the end of the game???

 

In 28 games he has 24 TDs 28 INT ,  and 43 sacks ,

Lets compare that with Matt Ryan, In 42 games, he has 59 TD,s 32 INT's and 53 sacks.

HENNE IS NOT AN NFL QUALITY TOP 15 QB!!

I used to blame Henning for play calling, BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS HENNE SUCKS!! He is not a starting NFL QB and he has gotten so much worse this year than last. So of it may be Hennings play calling. However, when given the opportunity to shine, he just plain SUCKS IT UP!!

To throw the interceptions he threw today, was nothing short of incompetent, inept and not consistent of an NFL quality QB. In fact, his first interceptions might be one of the top ten worst throws in the NFL this year!!! I remember a few years ago, in the playoffs a player was running down the sidelines and was a good 3-4 yds ahead of the DB (Not unlike Hartline except Hartline was 8-10 yds ahead) The QB threw the under-threw the ball to the inside of the WR and it was intercepted. Solomon Wilcots went ballistic. He said UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DOES A QB UNDER-THROW A WR TO THE INSIDE OF THE FIELD ON A PLAY LIKE THAT. You overthrow the ball to the outside shoulder so if your guy doesn’t catch it the DB DOES NOT have a chance!!

What did HENNE do?? Under-threw Hartline by 10 -12 yds to his inside shoulder so the only guy who could get it was the DB. THAT IS INEXCUSABLE!!!!  WOULD Brady, Manning or Rivers EVER do that ???? I don't think so!!

So what does he do after that? He overthrows Bess. He single handedly lost this game for the Dolphins. No more BS. He SUCKS!! He is not the QB of the future and WILL NEVER take a team into the playoffs. I used to blame it all on Henning. But if your QB is inept, there is little else to do as an OC.. Yea, I know last week he had a good game. I believe that can accidently happen to even the worst NFL QB once in a while!!  WOW, he was probably a top 10 qb that week!!

 

Let's look at the facts. He doesn’t know how to throw to Brandon Marshall. Marshall has a bit of a hot head, But I don’t blame him. During the Tennessee game, Henne basically ignored him. He was frequently one on one against a shorter lighter DB and Henne still wouldn’t throw him the ball. It got so pathetic that the safeties were cheating towards the other half of the field where the dangerous Bryan Hartline and Bess were because they knew Henne would NEVER throw to one of the top 5 WR in the NFL!!! Why?? I have NO F**KING IDEA!!

 Henne can make 1 pass! The 15-20 pass over the middle to Fasano. Henning may be getting old, But Henne need to go!!! The Wildcat was a gimmick play. It has become our Bread and Butter again. Why?? The coaches know Henne sucks.  The opposition knows that as well. Why else would Cleveland punt with 4 minutes to play in the game with a 4th down and half a yard. Rather than take the chance against our defense, they felt it was better for them to give the ball to Henne at the end of the game. More likely than not, he would screw it up for the Dulfins!! If that is not pathetic, I don't know how it could be any worse!!!

This game today reminded me of the Cam Cam days. Let us not forget our fearless leader, Tony Sporano, who acts like making a Field Goal is equivalent to a pick 6 or a 100 yd run back of a kick off. I am reasonably sure, most other coaches in this league are not happy with Field goals!!  However, to Sporano Field goals are like CamCam's one victory as the Dolphins head coach!!

 

This team has no passion on Offense. the team is boring, the QB sucks and the offense plays like they are hoping the defense will score a TD for them.  However, I will state that Devonne Bess is a stud! and Cameron Wake is THE MAN!!  However, that is about it.  When your offenses MVP is the kicker, it says something fairly pathetic about your team!!

IMHO Henne sucks!!  He is immobile, telegraphs his passes, has no balls to throw into tight coverage and is not good with play action.  Thigpen is probably a good backup, but so was Aaron Rodgers for 5 yrs.  My Question is going forward what do you all think?? We have started a different QB for the last 8 or 9 years since Dan Marino left!  This team is offensively challenged.  Ricky and Ronnie are not going go be young studs forever and a good QB takes a few years to perfect like one of those wines from France!!

10 teams TODAY already have scored more points than our BEST SCORING EFFORT THIS YEAR!!!!!!!

I was just checking and to put things in perspective only 10 games have been completed so far, 4 are in progress and 2 haven't even started yet. However, the Tennesee game where we scored 29 points is our best effort this far only to be followed up with a goose egg. Yet 10 teams have already scored 30 or more points this weekend!! We are the lowest scoring team in the AFC!!! 

Even the offensive powerhouses in Cleveland, Tampa Bay and Arizona are scoring more points than our Miami DULLPHINS!!!  Maybe Steven Ross was correct to change our theme song???  Because this team DOESNOT TAKE THE BALL FROM GOAL TO GOAL LIKE NO ONES EVER SEEN!!

It is really fins to right fins to the left but definitely not Phins from goal to GOAL !!!  I would like to blame it all on Injuries. But look what has happened to the defensive line......Odrick, Merling, Ferguson, Taylor Porter...

Lastly, I am not sure what to make of Tyler Thigpen, but IMHO Henne sucks!!!

What does Henne have against Branden MarshaLL??? Clearly, he doesn’t like to throw the ball to him. And don’t tell me he was double covered. I was at the game and it was pathetic. Marshall was frequently 1 on 1 against a corner back who was clearly 6 inches and 50 lbs smaller than him. Furthermore 80 or 90% of the time Henne just looked in the other direction and threw it away from Marshall. Marshall was right to chuck the ball into the sidelines. Even Jeff Fisher knew Henne wasn’t going to throw to Marshall!! What is the deal? Is Marshall fooling around with Hennes girlfriend or wife? You pay $50,000,000 and give up a second round draft pick and then you don’t even use the guy!!! Will someone answer my question??

Also with regard to Henne, I have made my decision!! He ain’t our guy!!!!

1) He has a strong arm +
2) He is immobile -
3) He telegraphs his throws -
4) He shows no emotion -
5) He is inconsistent -
6) He doesn’t throw the deep ball well -

7) His play selection is questionable.  I am curious. How many times on 3rd down does he throw to D. Bess?  Most of the other plays are Fasano or Hartline?

8) Has any one else noticed that Henne is terrible on play action and not great on screen passes either!

Now TT isn’t Peyton Manning. But he is mobile. He has been in the league for 4 yrs. His year starting at KC, he really had a crappy team. His % completions were 55% but during his college career, he showed significant improvement each year he played. When he started, his QB rating was basically the same as Hennes, but with more TD’s and less INT’s. I think it is the perfect time to see what this guy is made of. I was very impressed the way he played yesterday excluding the first 2 throws. He deserves at least 1 or 2 starts! Lets see what happens!!
