My name is Darryl, I love hockey i've been a Caps fan since the 80's but before that my first game was in 1981-82 the last seaon of the Colorado Rockies. They played the Wings at the old McNichols Arena in Denver. I fell in love with the sport that day.

I have like many on here suffered through brutal playoff losses yet I keep coming back for more, I have season tickets and enjoy the Caps now then ever before, But like many I want playoff sucess and a Cup!!

I also enjoy Football, But not as much and I only root for the Denver Broncos, Im not a Skins hater but could careless if they win or lose.

I play bass in a rock band I love 80's metal, Well some of it. I love the sounds of Motley Crue the best and watching video's of the Caps to Crue songs is enjoyable on a hot 90 degree summer boring day! :)

I've been a lurker on Japers for about 3 years now, And I decided it was time to make the jump and join in. I love all the bloggers on here and hope to meet them at games this coming season.
