Most of its the sameas the last, but there were a bunch of mistakes I felt needed fixing

1. St. Louis: Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma: At this point, there is no way they don’t QB. Personally, I think this is the wrong choice. I say go BPA here with either DT as they are both almost sure things, but they do have to give their fans some hope for the future, and Bradford’s it.

2. Detroit: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska (6-4, 302): Pretty easy choice here. Suh is above and beyond the better DT in my eyes. I feel he will be a dominant force, and not just a penetrator. This guy can solidify a DL for years.

3. Tampa: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma (6-4, 298): Huge need and BPA? Talk about a homerun.

4: Washington: Russell Okung, OT, OK State (6-5, 302): As a Broncos fan, I know Shanny will want to protect any QB, and Shanny is known for making sure he has an LT to anchor his line ie: Lepsis to Clady. If I know Shanny, I think he’ll giv Campbell this year and then if he fails draft a QB.

5: Kansas City: Rolando McClain, ILB, Bama (6-4, 256) KC goes D cuz they need help bad here. People say OT, but they just drafted one 2 years ago, i say giv Albert his 3rd year to prove himself, as he showed he can be pretty good. McClain was made for the 3-4, and I think he'll do very well there

6: Seattle: Jimmy Clausen, QB, ND: Plain and simple: Hasselback= done and new QB is needed. Plus, Clausen and Carrol are very familiar with eachother as they played one another every year.

7: Cleveland: Eric Berry, S/CB, Tennesse: Cleveland takes the best DB in the draft. Can play any position in the secondary, so his versatility along with his playmaking ability makes him a homerun at 7.

8: Oakland: Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland: You feel bad for the guy, knowing he is going to be over drafted and not pan out as one would expect from the 8th pick. I don’t even need to explain this pick.

9: Buffalo: Brian Bulaga, OT, Iowa: Probably the safest OT prospect in the draft. I don’t expect him to be a great LT ie: Clady, Oher, Joe Thomas etc. But I can see him being a solid LT for years.

10: Jacksonville: Joe Haden, CB, Florida: BPA is the way the new path Gene Smith is bringing in. Haden is easily the best player here even after a so-so combine, makin him an absolute steal here.

11: Denver: Dan Williams, NT, Tennesse: A big NT the Broncos could use at the point of attack. Ronald Fields didnt do bad in his first year, but he is too small (317, yea real small) for the position, and might be better as a 5 tech or a rotational guy. They might pick Dez if BMarsh is traded, but since I'm not showing trades on my mock, I wont show this pick. I recommend all mockers read my previous sentence. Again: IF YOUR NOT SHOWING TRADES, DON’T SHOW DEZ BEING DRAFTED BY THE BRONCOS.

12: Miami: Dez Bryant, WR, OK State (6-2, 220): People say Parcells doesnt like drafting WR's in the first round, but if he wants Henne to continue to grow as a QB, he'll giv him this playmaker. Vet locker room and good, stern coaching staff can also handle his ego/antics

13: San Fransisco: Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers: Might not be the greatest LT prospect, but if anything, he could be a great mauler at RT which fills a need.

14: Seattle: Derrick Morgan, DE, Ga tech: Need an edge rusher, and this is the best one in the draft. To me this is agood fit for both team and player.

15: New York Giants: Brian Price, DT, UCLA: The DE’s in this D can stand not being upgraded, but DT is the biggest need here. I had Earl Thomas last time, but now with Rolle that would be pointless. Price is a guy flying under the radar, but I think he’ll be taken top 20.

16: San Fransisco: CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson: Great scat back that can spill for Gore, and also helps the return game.

17: Tennesse: Everson Griffen, DE, USC: Might be a reach here, but he is a big bodied athletic edge rusher, and should also help against the run. Best DE here and the need one after losing KVB.

18: Pittsburgh: Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise St: Solid CB who fits a need. Would probably prefer Dan Williams, but since he has had a great offseason and is rising on everybody’s draft boards, don’t expect him here.

19: Atlanta: Mike Iupati, OG, Idaho: Best G in the draft, and if you ask me, top 5 best overall. Will clear paths for RB’s for years.

20: Houston: Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers: Guy went to my high school. He’s great and can also help ST. Should help fill Robinson void.

21: Cincy: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma: Great pass catching TE who gives Palmer yet another target.

22:New England: Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas: Pass rush is defintily needed, and Sergio can provide that. Maybe Spiller here, but I think Kindle would help more.

23: Green Bay: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma: Should be a good OT, and he doesn’t have to start immediately either.

24: Philadelphia: Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan: Great pass rusher and an amazing motor. Should help against the rush although he might be better suited for the 3-4/

25: Baltimore Ravens: Earl Thomas, S, Texas: Not huge on the guy, but if he isn’t a good Safety, which I don’t think he will be, he could be a solid CB.

26: Arizona: Charles Brown, OT, USC: Should be a great OT, although might help if he puts on weight

27: Cowboys: John Jerry, OG/OT, Ole Miss (6-6, 332): typical Cowboys OLmen, big and nasty.

28: San Diego: Ryan Matthews, RB, Fresno State: No choice but to go this route. I think this is a bigger need than NT because the NT rotation they had after Williams went down did OK, and the Chargers rushing game sucked all year and now they lost there only workhorse back

29: New York Jets: Jared Odrick, DE/DT, Penn St (6-5, 301): with questions on the DL, and a great 5 tech DE like Jared, this pick is a no brainer, if he falls here

30: Minnesota: Maurkice Pouncey, C, Florida: Starter from Day one till end of his career. Can play any of the interior OL positions, and even has some OT experience

31: Indianapolis: Sean Witherspoon, LB, Mizz: Colts could use a playmaker LB, but of course, they always do, but Polian never takes one. Doesn’t have to start in first year and has many solid vets around that could help show him the ropes. Plus, with no good looking OL prospects here, Polian wont reach and go BPA here.

32: New Orleans: Jason-Pierre-Paul, DE, USF: Physical freak, but definitly a project. I see Saints developing him for a year or two and in the mean time use him as a situational rusher. They can risk this pick a little, as I think they are set at a lot of positions. Maybe they could take Burrnett from GA Tech or Chad Jones from LSU to replace Sharper if he isn’t resigned, but I think a dominant pass rusher would be better for the long run.

Tried not to let the Combine affect me too much, and also took into account some FA moves. O, and all mockers please read wat I say for Denver Thank you.

1. St. Louis: Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma: At this point, there is no way they don’t QB. Personally, I think this is the wrong choice.

13: San Fransisco: Trent Williams, OT, OK: I feel he’s overrated, but heck, he would help the run game at RT at the very worst.

16: San Fransisco: Jahvid Best, RB, Cal (5-10, 195): I know 9ers fans will kill me for this, but I think he is faster than Spiller, and I see this team like the 07-08 Titans, who are just a Chris Johnson away from a great season. Best played against the Pac-10, and Spiller played against the ACC, and Spiller has been inconsistent. I say go Best here to complement Gore.

20: Houston: Jonathon Dwyer, RB, Ga Tech: The need for a workhorse back is too immense to pass this guy up. Possibly McCourty to fill a need but I think this pick could put the Texans O on a whole new level.

21: Cincy: Aaron Hernandez, TE, Florida (6-2, 250) TE is definitly a need here, unless the Bengals trade for a TE, and I'm hopin its Scheffler, hes good but he's not needed on the Broncos anymore.

22:New England: Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas: Pass rush is defintily needed, and Sergio can provide that. Maybe Spiller here, but I think Kindle would help more.

23: Green Bay: C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson (5-11, 195): Perfect compliment to Grant, and could giv Rodgers a nice target out of the backfield.

24: Philadelphia: Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan: This team is a pass rusher away from being the best team in the league, IMO. And I think this guy fits the bill, although I think he may be better suited in a 3-4

25: Baltimore Ravens: Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers: Need here, and this guys good. After the Boldin trade, this is the only glaring hole on the roster.

26: Arizona: Ricky Sapp, OLB, Clemson (6-4, 248): Not too high on Clemson pass rushers, but this is a need for AZ and this would be good value here.

Once Again, FA Shows McD's Plan

Just like last year, we can tell what McD wants out of our team through FA. Last year, it was many solid 2nd or lowertier vets with good character. This year, were seeing a lot of OL's and DL's being brought in, and big ones at that. This solidified our belief that not only is improving on both lines important, but increasing size is as well

Here Are some other moves that might indicate what we are doing:

JJ Arrington: solid pick-up, and is more likely than not competing to stay on the roster. I believe this move shows that McD wants to improve the depth at the position. I also feel it gives the RB's (other than moreno and buck) the sense you should be scared as well, as u didnt perform too well last yr.

WR: As of now, we hav seen no move to bring in a WR. This may inidicate that Denver is not definitly going to trade BMarsh, as many believe. I think McD is going to wait for an offer he can't refuse, and once he gets it, he'll pull the trigger. However, alll this might change if we see a WR be brought in.

QB: If we bring in a QB, depending on who it is it might mean a couple of things. If its a QB who has starting exp or potential, it might mean we want to giv Orton some competition for the QB spot, meaning hat McD isnt sold on Orton. If we bring in a stricty backup caliber guy, than that would mean Simms is gone.

Thats it for now. If I think of anything else i'll throw it in here. I got my last mid-term before spring break so I gotta study but I'll be here to answer comments

Who Would You Go Nuts For?

The draft is an exciting time for everyone: coaches, players, team brass, and even fans. For a lot of teams, it gives them hope for a brighter future and a sense they are getting better. The draft also gets very emotional, as some fans have a certain guy they see and want on their team. So my question is this: At the number 11 spot, who would you go nuts for if we drafted?

For me last year, I was ecstatic when Orakpo fell to us. I thought to myself we were going to get the best pass rusher in the draft and couldn't wait. However, when Knowshon was drafted, I (and I'm not kidding) threw a dumbell across the room, thinking our O was set and our D needed an overhaul. Now I see McD's wisdom, but I still wouldnt be mad if we had gotten the Rack, but we'll see. This year, I would be happy with McClain, but I would go nuts if we got Dan Williams. I've been on his side since before the Senior Bowl, and I still am. I really just dont know what I'd do if we got him. I would also go nuts for either of the QB's, but thats a longshot.

Now on the other hand, who would you get mad for? Dez Bryant is definitly the guy for me. I would really flip if we got him, and I've been completely against him since day 1. He reminds me of BMarsh way too much, good production bad attitude. His bad attitude was on display at the combine, as he was lacksidasical at all the meetings with coaches and was late plenty of times. Now I dont hate BMarsh, and I dont want to see him traded just yet, but we dont need another one.

So, I ask you, who would you go nuts for if we drafted them at 11?

I know he's not the only one throwing, but I think Jevan Snead, Ole Miss, has the potential to be a very good future prospect. The guy has the arm, and he's had some success, but he is very inconsistent. I think that if McD is looking for a project, this guy may be it.

The kid came into this year with a lot of hype. Many said he would be a first round pick easy, and he might even be a Heisman candidate. He had a great 08 year, with 26 Td's to 13 ints, and almost 3000 yds. However, in 09, he wasnt all that bad, but he suffered some pretty horrid games, namely the South Carolina game (viewer disgretion is advised for that game, it could cause nausea and many other ailments). The bigger the game was, the worse he seemed. However, the kid has all the intangibles and has shown he can get it done. He's got good size at 6'3, one hell of an arm, and he has decent mobility with a low 4.7 40. I think he has the tools to get it done, and McD, one of the best QB gurus in the league, can put it all together. cbssports has him rated as a 4th rounder. I feel if he falls to us there, and we havent taken a QB yet, we should be all over it. What say you?

Team Needs: Let's Get on the Same Page

I'm loving all the mocks, and theoretical FA pickups. I think what would help us all in these to make them better is to outline our team needs, and see where we all feel our team needs lie. Here, I will give you my opinion on our needs, and I'm hoping we can agree/debate the needs. So without further delay:

1: OG: I think this is by far our greatest need. Kuper I feel will do fine, as he has the perfect body for the power, I think he just needs a year to get used to pulling/trapping. However, the other spot is not so bright. Hamilton proved he just cant power block, and his pass pro suffered as well. Hochstein was an average stop-gap guy, but he didnt exactly wow us into believing we can trust him as a full-time starter. Olsen is the only option that has a future at the position, but he was just a 4th round pick last year, so banking on him to be the guy at LG would be foolish. I feel we need to upgrade this in FA, draft, or possibly both. Iupati would be wonderful, and I am beginning to love Ducasse and Jerry in the 2nd. Any 3 of those guys would be fine.

2: C: Not as big as OG, but definitly can use an upgrade. In a league transitioning to 3-4 more and more every year, the need for a big, sturdy OC is on the rise. Wiegmann was great in 08, but hes shown he cant play at the same level as he did in 08. I wouldnt be too mad if we didnt upgrade this position this offseason, but I do think we should draft a guy for the future, or just pick up a guy in FA and go forward with him. Pouncey would be the best option, but as of now, our position in the draft leaves us likely to not get him.

3: DE: I think this group can be easily improved. They did admirably well, but I think an upgrade here would be preferable. McBean did good, but going forward I don't see him as the answer. Peterson should be upgraded, he can be a decent rotational guy, but I dont want him starting. Holliday was a good 3-4 DE on 3rd down, but he cant be an every down guy. I think Dwan Edwards from Balty would be good here, and there are a couple of guys with potential at this spot in the draft.

4: NT: I know people like Fields, but compared to most 3-4 NT's, he's pretty small (Ratliff dont count, hes not a double team type NT, more of a penetrator, which Fields is not). I think hes a solid guy who can compliment a better NT. Right now, FA doesnt really offer anyone worthy of an upgrade to Fields, unless somehow Wilfork and Hampton avoid the tags. I think in the draft our best option is Dan Williams. If we dont get him in the first, I would like to see us get either Cody or Thomas from UNC i the 2nd.

5: ILB: I think this is really where NEED stops, and upgrade begins. Davis and Woodyard were an OK tandem at the one ILB spot, but I think we can do better. DJ did a better job IMO at the other spot than we at MHR give him credit for. I want to see him with another year of Martindale (who I must say deserves a lot of praise for the job he did with our LBs) and I would like to see DJ with a better DL in front of him. I wouldnt be too opposed to McClain, but I feel we can find an adequate ILB deeper in the draft, as most teams do, and I feel we have more pressing needs for the 10th pick to address.

6: CB: Not a huge need, more so a guy or 2 for the future along with Phonz and Carter. This can be addressed much later in the draft or possibly a cheap guy in FA. No need to break the bank for this position or get caught up in a bidding war.

7: QB: I know most ppl will disagree, but I dont think Orton is the long term answer. I dont see anyone much more of an upgrade in FA, but I think if Clausen/Bradford fell to us at the 10th spot, or one of the QBs such as Skelton or Lefevour fell to us with good value, I dont think we shouldnt even hesitate to bring in our QB of the future.

I dont expect everyone to agree with me, I just want to see where we as a fanbase are on this issue.

First Mock, only one round

Just checked this place out and I gotta say its cures my mock draft fix. Only did 1 round because I feel the depth of the draft is not my strong point. So without further delay, here's my mock

1. St. Louis: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska (6-4, 302) I dont think St. Louis will, or should, go with either QB. Neither is worth that much money, and I think they'd be better served with Vick.

2. Detroit: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma (6-4, 298) Almost as good as Suh, but not quite in my book. He'll help the Detroit D.

3. Tampa: Eric Berry, S, Tennesse (5-11, 203) They are not in a really good spot here, unless one of the DT's are still left. Berry's not a bad consellation prize, but I think a Safety is a little high here. I really think they'll try to trade down but for now, they hav the next ED Reed.

4: Washington: Jimmy Clausen, QB, ND. We can argue which QB till we r red in the face, but if you look at Shanahan's 2 favorite QB's, Elway and Cutler (gunslingers) you'll see Clausen is the closer fit to that than Bradford. IMO tho, I dont thnik either QB is worth this pick but we'll see. And for those who say he'll draft OT now, I think not. He drafted Cutler first, then drafted Clady in Denver, so I think we may see the same

5: Kansas City: Rolando McClain, ILB, Bama (6-4, 256) KC goes D cuz they need help bad here. People say OT, but they jus drafted one 2 years ago, i say giv Albert his 3rd year to prove himself, as he showed he can be pretty good. McClain was made for the 3-4, and I think he'll do very well there

6: Seattle: Russell Okung, OT, OK State (6-5, 302) This pick might be Bradford, but if the best LT falls here, I think Seattle pulls the trigger, and waits till the 2nd or 3rd for QB of the future.

7: Cleveland: Joe Haden, CB, Florida (5-11, 190) Best CB in the draft, and a possible future shutdown CB. You'd think O, but here, no one is worthy of being picked, and I think they giv Quinn one more year.

8: Oakland: Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers (6-6, 326) I dont no why I even bother trying to get in this sad, little old man's head, but if he truly believes Russell can play, he'll giv him a blindside protector, and this pick could help out his other bust, McFadden.

9: Buffallo: Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma (6-4, 223) If your Chan Gailey right now, what are you trying to sell to your fans? the fact your an old, unsuccesful coach? the fact your team hasnt had a winning season in forever? or the fact you just got fired as an OC by a rookie HC? Any way, I think for the fans you go QB here.

10: Jacksonville: Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech (6-4, 272): Not sure where exactly this franchise is going (scheme wise and location wise) but they need a pass rush thats for sure.

11: Denver: Dan Williams, NT, Tennesse: Big, DT the Broncos could use at the point of attack. Fields didnt do bad in his first year, but he is too small (317, yea real small) for the position, and might be better as a 5 tech or a rotational guy. They might pick Dez if BMarsh is traded, but since I'm not showing trades on my mock, I wont show this pick.

12: Miami: Dez Bryant, WR, OK State (6-2, 220): People say Parcells doesnt like drafting WR's in the first round, but if he wants Henne to continue to grow as a QB, he'll giv him this playmaker.

13: San Fransisco: Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa (6-6 312): him and Staley will solidify the OT spots on this team.

14: Seattle: Everson Griffen, DE, USC: I know he is even less valuable than the last guy I chose, I just see Carrol bringing one of his guys in in the first. He could help the pass rush, and has good enough size to stop the run as well. Plus, he might have more experience with the D than anyone else

15: New York Giants: Earl Thomas, S, Texas: They could use a Centerfielder next to Phillips, and they definitly need to address the secondary here. Could go Price, but its not as big of a need as this

16: San Fransisco: Jahvid Best, RB, Cal (5-10, 195): I know 9ers fans will kill me for this, but I think he is faster than Spiller, and I see this team like the 07-08 Titans, who are jsut a Chris Johnson away from a great season.

17: Tennesse: Brian Price, DT, UCLA (6-2, 300): enoughs enough, need to get a playmaking DT again, plus, I feel he has good value here. Finally, the titans hav a starting DT over 300

18: Pittsburgh: Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland (6-7, 310): perfect pick for Steelers, let him develop if hes not ready, as hes pretty raw.

19: Atlanta: Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise St (5-10, 186): might be a little high, but he had a grat Senior Bowl and that hashelped a lot of former player increase their value a lot. Ayers was supposed to be a high second till his Senior Bowl, and he was takenn higher than this.

20: Houston: Morgan Burnnet, S, Georgia Tech (6-1, 210) They wish a DT was here, but instead they go with a pretty good centerfielder here. I would say Mays, but his value is sinking like a rock on water. I was thinking Cody, but its way too high for him and he doesnt seem like a Texans type player. If the draft goes like this, I can see Houston trade down, but for now they take Burnnet.

21: Cincy: Aaron Hernandez, TE, Florida (6-2, 250) TE is definitly here, unless the Bengals trade for a TE, and I'm hopin its Scheffler, hes good but he's not needed on the Broncos anymore.

24: Philadelphia: Mike Iupati, OG/OT, Idaho (6-5, 330): Great value here, and he can play either gaurd or tackle, which is perfect for the Eagles.

25: Baltimore Ravens: Golden Tate, WR, ND: This is assuming no big WR trades, as I'm not showing it in my draft. Hes a fast kid with sure hands, a little small, but thats rarely as big of a problem sas ppl make it out to be

26: Arizona: Ricky Sapp, OLB, Clemson (6-4, 248): Not too high on Clemson pass rushers, but this is a need for AZ and this would e good value here.

27: Cowboys: John Jerry, OG/OT, Ole Miss (6-6, 332): typical Cowboys OLmen, big and nasty. Similar to Eagles reasoning here

28: San Diego: Jonathon Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech (5-11, 235): Is anyone not picking this? To me, its a match made in heaven. Not a good RB draft by any means, so if you are the Chargers and yo need one bad, here's where you go.

29: New York Jets: Jared Odrick, DE/DT, Penn St (6-5, 301): with questions on the DL, and a great 5 tech DE like Jared, this pick is a no brainer, if he falls here

30: Minnesota: Chad Jones, S, LSU: Might be the guy to put this D over the top. Probably want to go CB here, but Safety isnt a bad way to go either.

31: Indianapolis: Sean Witherspoon, LB, Mizz: Colts could use a playmaker LB, but of course, they always do, but Polian never takes one. I could see Cody here as well, although not liking him as a first just too many question marks

32: New Orleans: Jason-Pierre-Paul, DE, USF: Physical freak, but definitly a project. I see Saints developing him for a year or two and in the mean time use him as a situational rusher.

In this offseason, the Denver Broncos have a lot of questions about what they are going to do. Definitly not as many as last season, but there are a couple of things I want to share my opinion on with you guys.

 1. The first, and biggest question, is whether BMarsh gets traded. The MSM and some of us here are saying he is leaving like it is a forgone conclusion. Well, I dont think it is. I really think BMarsh will come back, and heres why:

At the beginning of the season, we were offered a trade for him, when BMarsh's value was very low. McD could have pulled the trigger, and gotten us a pick. But instead he kept BMarsh and gave him one of his most productive seasons as a Bronco. Now, people think after the suspension at the end of the year that McD is fed up with him. I dont think so, and neither should you. This is a professional business. People dont hold grudges, as everyone is trying to make money and win. I think both BMarsh and McD, whteher they like eachother personally or not, know that they both need eachother. I think we give Marshal a high tender, and try to keep him. But as we learned ast year, no one on the team is immune to trades, but I think if someone wants him, there gonna have to cough up a lot and I dont see that happenin.

2. What to do with Orton? At thispoint, he had his best year, but many of us, and rightfully so, werent eccstatic about it. Yes his yards were high, but so were his attempts. I said this in one comment section: compare the numbers of Aaron Rodgers and Orton. rodgers had a worse OL, the same amount of attempts, and threw over 500 yards more, a hell of a lot more TDs, and less picks. Im not sayin Orton is Rodgers talent wise, all im saying is for a "game manager," he had some gunslinger mentality towards the end of the year.

So, what do we do with him? I say we give him a 2-3 year deal, and bring maybe an FA QB to compete for the job. By no means should Orton feel as though his job is safe after such a year. I have made it known I would like for us to draft a QB early. Well, the chances of that are slim, as 5 teams ahead of us could use a QB and only 2 are worthy of our 10/11 pick. If any of these two options are done, I think we would make the best out of our QB situation

3. What do we do with the 10/11 pick? There are plenty of options here, and I think we have a lot of bargaining power to trade down if we need to. Right now, I'm looking for us to draft either Clausen or Bradford. I dont think we are even gonna sniff clausen, but I think we have a shot at Bradford. I like him, because scouting reports about him say he is by far the most accurate QB and the most cerebral, which is exactly what McD's system calls for. He also has quite a bit of arm strength, which can be used to stretch the field.

If the QB's arent there, which is most likely, I think we go with Dan Williams, Carlos Dunlap, Brian Price, or trade down. either of these DL would be great upgrades, and would help a need immensly. However, if McD doesnt want them, then we should trade down, and sweep up Pouncey or Iupati. Some of you may be asking why not McClain or Dez? well i'll tell u. Dez is easy to say no to. nothing against the guy, hes great, but I think our depth at the position is fine. I think with Bmarsh comin back, Royal gettin more involved, and the momentum from Gaff last game, drafting a WR with such a high pick would be dumb.

Now, why not McClain? Well first, we have a lot of money tied in at LB, and we dont want to become the Seahawks. 2nd, I think Brandon Spikes would actually be btter for our system, and we could get him in the 2nd. I know Spikes is slow, but we dont need a speed demon at this spot. He really reminds me of a young Andra Davis, which is great for this system. He's big and physical, and was a leader on the Florida D for 3 yrs. Pretty impressive.

4. What do we do with our OL? Some of us here have said that Harris is a liabiltity because of injuries. I think he'll be fine, and the OT spot is fine as well. The only thing we could use is a better backup, and I think we can get one in Ciron Black from LSU in the later rounds.

But what about the interior, our weakness? well first, we bring back Kuper. People say he is a zone blockin guy. This is not true. He has the perfect body for the power game, and he should do just fine in his 2nd yr in the system. So what about the LG and C spot? Well, I think we should go after Logan Mankins hard. I say this not just because of his background or his name, but because he has experience in this O, and he can impart starting experience onto the rest of the OL, and also be a great starter for us. I would also like to see us draft Pouncey from UF, or if we cant get Mankins, Iupati. I'm not sayig Olson because I dont want to rush the guy into the spot.

5. What about the DL? I'm not gonna lie, the DL exceeded my expectations, but it wasn't enough. We need not only bigger guys there, but stronger as well. This is why I want us to go after the following guys in FA, in no particular order: Ryan Pickett, Johnny Jolly, Casey Hampton, Vince Wilfork, and Jarvis Green. I think if we can get one of these guys, we'll have already made great strides on this unit. in the draft, I already said who I want early for this unit. If we could get 2 of any of these guys i mentioned, FA and draft, I think our D can go to the next level, and finally stop the run.

Those I think are the biggest qustions this offseason. If we cana nswer even 2 or 3 of them, I think we'll be a great team. I truly believe that this team is on the verge of being elite, and we should be in 10 if the pieces fall in the right places.
